I visited Capitec Weskus Mall Branch and had one of the worst customer service experience. An employee named Savanna made sure that I experienced the worse customer service I ever got in my life. She is plain rude and her use of foul language left a sour taste in my mouth and therefore I have decided to close all of my accounts with Capitec.
On the 4/12/2021 I applied for a contract and was approved. I received callbacks from the verifications department on the 06/12/2021 to confirm my details including my banking details.I was told that my device will be delivered within 3/5 working days. I was waiting on the courier company to deliver the package and followed up on the 9/12/2021 with cell c. When I called Cell C and spoke to a consultant I was informed that my application was declined. I informed her that I spoke to a consultant (Rendani) who confirmed that my application was approved and that she is baffled about the circumstances that I find myself in. Unfortunately no communication from Cell C to explain the situation to me. It is really very low from them how they treat potential customers. As I read through the complaints from this platform I see that it is normal for them to conduct their business in this manner.A tuckshop from the location is better run than Cell C. No wonder they are the lowest ranked mobile company in South Africa when it comes to subscribers. They deserve their ranking with honours. I hope they lose more customers. Anyone reading this ; stay away from Cell C. They are a bunch of crooks.
Been shopping from shoprite 2 branch in Vredenburg for ages. Customer service from that particular branch keeps on declining. There is no trolleys. You have to roam around and look for a trolley.I even had to pay the trolley attendants to look for a trolley and it has become big business for them. You dont get a trolley if you dont pay R20, otherwise the trolleys will only be reserved for paying customers.Eventually when you got the trolley it is difficult to move around the isles, because there is no staff member/s who is managing the queues in a orderly manner.Customers queues and blocking your way and no one seems to care. Management are nowhere to be found in the store ( Only in the parking lot smoking) Half of the cashiers on duty on busy days .Eventually when you get to the till point the cashier is either unfriendly or lacks training. It takes alot of time to ring up the groceries and most of the time the cashiers have to pack themselves. On top of that , are the trolleys not allowed to leave the store. You have to beg the manager to allow you to use the trolley to cart your groceries to your vehicle. Securities at the doors are plain rude and not properly trained and are in cahoots with the trolley attendants who sells trolleys to customers. It is plain chaos.
Took a small loan in January 2020 while awaiting a pension payout. On July 9 2020 I settled the loan in full. From January 2021 I get calls , and emails from 6 different debt collectors. I even get visits from them at my home. I have provided proof numerous time that I have settled my account to no avail.Finbond are the most vile scumbags under the sun. Please stay away from these crooks. My lawyers are handling them now. What a waste of a business that claims to help. Stay away from them.
Intercape fails its customers through computicket and shoprite. The cashiers at shoprite fails to inform customers that they still need permits to travel interprovincial. They just take your money and when you want to embark they ask for a permit and than leave you high and dry.The bus just departed today at 12:00 from Cape Town to Joburg without myself ,finance and 3yr old daughter. We are basically left on the street after paying just under R2500 to travel to Joburg. No refund or making a other booking. We are left stranded by this greedy bus service.Poor poor service.
I bought bus tickets from Shoprite(Intercape bus tickets) Vredenburg 2 on the 01/06/2020 to travel back home from Cape Town to Joburg.3 bus tickets for my fiance and 3yr old child to the value of just under R2500.I am unemployed and was assisted by good samaritans to buy the tickets. The tickets was for the 04/06/2020. The bus was scheduled to depart from Cape Town at 12:00. I was there on time and was informed by Intercape personnel that I require a permit to travel between provinces. I was not informed by Shoprite where I bought the tickets that I will need a permit. They just took my money and issue tickets without informing me about a permit. We have a 14 yr old daughter that needs us urgently at home in Gauteng. If we knew we suppose to have a permit, we could have made the necessary arrangements for a permit before going to the bus.We tried to made a complaint at Kraaifontein shoprite 2 ,but was told that it's not Shoprites problem.Intercape refer us to shoprite , and admit that it was Shoprite duty to inform us about the permit. We are now sitting on the street basically, with a 3yr old child and nowhere to go.
Poor Poor service from Dstv customer service.I live in a small rural town .I was struggling to pay my account because their payment system was offline. My options are limited to only a few retailers that does 3rd party payments , all of them offline.I managed to pay early the next day when their services was restored, only for them to suspend my services.I spoke to the callcentre and explained my situation. They told me in that its not their problem , I have to pay R50 reconnection fee, which I refused of course. I demanded a refund ,but according their t&c's I dont have credit on my account for a refund although I paid the full subscription for February in advance. No wonder this arrogant excuse of a company is leaking customers ,marketshare and revenue at an alarming rate , they still do not learn.I am done with them and wish that they may loose even more customers daily.

I bought a Defy automatic washing machine at Game Vredenburg in July 2016.I experienced problems with the machine within the first week.I reported it to game and they promised to investigate. After sending my proof of purchase 3 times via fax to them(apparently it got lost the first 2 times) I was promised that a call is logged and that a technician will come to my house to check out tha appliance. After a month ,still no sign of a technician.I went back to the store to demand an explanation.According to their paperwork a technician already went to check out the machine(i dont know how he got access to my home because there is no one home during the week) The whole process started from scratch, logging a call warawara ...Eventually after 2 more visits to the store and a bunch of phone calls , a technician arrived at my home.Did an observation and within 5 minutes was out of the door.He told me something is not Lekka ,but in his report stated that there is nothing wrong with the appliance ,without even testing it properly.I have been to game vredenburg quite a few times to follow up,but everytime they promise to sort out the problem ,but its just empty promises.Meanwhile I am sitting with a piece of an appliance that I paid alot of money for that is worthless to me.

I have 3 decoders registered on my account.Only 2 are active.Last month I downgraded the package of both decoders and deactivated one.Only to find out that one of the decoders was not downgraded and not deactivated.I was sent an sms of a bill for the full subscription of the decoder that is suppossed to be off.Now my account is suspended because of a decoder that was suppose to be off.

I have been a prepaid customer of Vodacom for ages.I decided that I wanted to upgrade to a contract.I checked their online offers and applied for a Samsung A3 LTE that was on promotion for R299 PM on Uchoose Flexi package. The consultant who called me back ,informed me that I dont qualify for it.I was told though that I do qualify for a list of other low end handsets also on Uchoose flexi.I was offered a Samsung J3 on Uchoose Flexi for R329 pm.The consultant told me that its the system that decides on what you qualify for and its even impossible for them,as consultants to explain. To spend R330 PM on a outdated handset that cost R2700 on prepaid is totally not worth it.Vodacom has become totally arrogant because of the market share they enjoy. With my credit record intact ,Im sure other network providers will jump at the opportunity to offer me a good deal.
