Can I have my phone back?
Seem to sell their cell phones via Takealot. I haven't had my phone for 3 weeks and it has now gone to them for processing. Buy your Takealot items where they say they have stock - not outsource...

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE NO FEEDBACK NO WARNING REGARDING TIME
MRC Computers in Krugersdorp accepted my printer on 15/04/2024. A quote was received, payment made 24/04/2024. Upon following up for the 2nd time, I am now being told "Turnaround time on these printers are 2-3 weeks after the jobs accepted". No feedback, no warning on quote regarding time, no follow-up call to say payment received - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Poor client Service from Computer Land Strand
On 19 October 2023 I bought a USB3 to VGA adaptor from Computer Land in Strand. I tried to use this on my new laptop, but an IT specialist found out that this product is not compatible with Windows 11. On 24 October 2023 i wanted to return this item to the supplier, in it's original packaging. The sales rep however refused to refund my money as he reckoned the packaging has been opened and he connot refund me if the packaging has been opened. He told me that it his not his problem. Just want to warn people against Computer Land Strand

Poor client Service from Computer Land Strand

Damaged Laptop
On this day 29/07/2023 booked in my perfectly functioning work laptop for an LCD Screen replacement. When I called in the following Monday to check on the progress, I was told that the Laptop doesn't switch on anymore. The consultant told me that something might have happened when the technician was "opening" the laptop. Had to collect my dead laptop two days later. Never received any apologies. All I got was a damage report which was sent to my Manager.

motherboard
my experience is on a good or ever great one. My motherboards power port and usb port broke, I gave my motherboard to their repair section and they said 2-3 day before I have it back and they will let me know the price of repair before then. they didn't, they just repaired and I had to phone after 4 days. the motherboard was repaired incorrect because they repairs the power port to the wrong side of the motherboard. Another 2 days the board was with them and the power port was the right side. when I was assembling the laptop the bottom cover wouldn't close because the new usb post was to high. Now I sitting with a laptop that's bottom wouldn't close. And they gave me the wrong banking details the day I paid for the repairs , now I have to make another payment to there correct account to. I will never use there services again. MRC Krugersdorp

DONT TRUST COMPUTER GADGETS REPAIR SHOP
THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT COMPUTER GADGETS!!! computer repair shop IN GQEBERGA (PE). There was no option for Computer Gadgets on Hello Peter!!! I went to Computer Gadgets with my very old Toshiba laptop. The laptop had major issues just trying to start. So I asked Johan there to please do a proper service, and I assumed he would fix the starting issue obviously! So I go get back my laptop later and he wants to charge me R600! I had a fit and said he must be joking. So Johan (I dont know his surname) brought the price down to R400! So I was really angry but I paid him and left. Then when I later check my laptop I found NOTHING had been done to fix it at all - and even worse Johan had deleted ALL my bookmarks. He didn't even use C Cleaner! I know because I used C Cleaner on it myself to check!!!! The reason I didn't go right back at the time was because I was severely depressed and couldn't cope with a big confrontation at that time! DONT TRUST JOHAN AT COMPUTER GADGETS!!

DONT TRUST COMPUTER GADGETS REPAIR SHOP
