I am disappointed with Natal Properties for withholding my R7 500 rental deposit for Apartment R5, Mountain View, Hilton. No incoming inspection was conducted when I moved in, and the unit was not in proper condition. After moving out (with proper notice), only an outgoing inspection was done, and I am now being charged for alleged damages I dispute. No signed incoming inspection report, repair quotes, or invoices have been provided, and my emails have gone unanswered.

Absolute *******. Do not use this agency for rentals, they will rob you of at least 40% of your deposit, their cleaning company charges R1350 to clean a 2 bedroom unit that was already cleaned by the tenant.

Worst Property People Managers Ever. I would never recommend anyone buy anything that is managed by these people. They are the absolute worst. First of all I bought my property from development stage, they didn't even give me the specification that I wanted and when I asked they never rep****. They then made a mistake that cost me a lot of money on my levy account and they refused to take responsibility for it. I can't even comment on how they are managing the estate. Definitely regret buying property at Mountain View Estate in Pietermaritzburg. If you were considering buying a place there i'd highly advise against it.

Hi, On the 10/07/2024, I wanted to have a meeting with Bruce Campbell but he was on a holiday, I proceeded to have a meeting with Mr Koon, one of business owners. I went to seek support for a newly formed business, I wanted to know if they offer assistance to small businesses since they are a well established & a well recognized business. I went there with an open mind that I can possibly get a "Yes/No, or a maybe", or a "this is how far we can assist", or a simple "no, we don't assist." However I was disappointed to be asked "why come here ? whereas you have your special black financial assistance from your black government ?", he proceeded to share his sentiments around my visit, he said "there are 3 business owners, and he can't speak on behalf of the other 2, but their business took a knock from the poor black government administrations / decisions, hence they wouldn't have the money to give around". He then leaned over and looked at me straight in the eye and said "even if I had all the money to give, why would I give it to you ? I rather have that for my kids, and their grand kids, just go to your black government funds or wait for Bruce to return, of which I doubt he will help your business in any way, but try him, I am not the person to talk to". I was shocked! as we exited the boardroom, he said "I thought you wanted to buy or have us manage a property", I said "Sir my rental property is under your management for years", he smiled and said "good". I felt Mr. Koon was ******, of which it's a total opposite of Bruce, I felt labelled, I felt as if in a way I was told "you deserve your situation, for your business not to be financial stable, not because it's a start-up, but because of black government, because of my skin colour". This was a very disappointing experience, since I've dealt with Natal Properties in Pietermaritzburg for years, and the service has been ok, and Bruce is a dignified proffessional businessman.

I dont understand the logic! I have emailed and got no response, when i called they tell me to email, the service is absolutely terrible, the lady i spoke to was completely rude and unhelpful, it now makes sense as to why the properties listed there have been advertised for months.

We live in a complex which is governed by Natal Property consultants, we had a burglary to our home on the 08/01/2023, we informed the chairman of the bodycorp that our door had been broken and he said that he will inform Natal Property Consultants to sort it out asap, this happened on a Saturday night, the door was only replaced the next Wednesday and all my husband received was a bill from the contractor that the body Corp was going to pay, I received a bill from the body Corp on Monday for burglary excess of 2500 rands, when I queried who had signed the document accepting the quote and the excess I was told by the manager Lesley that that is staff practice that she signs all the claim forms, we as the owners of the property were not informed of the costs involved before hand nor did we give permission to accept the excess, I finally managed to speak to the director today Mr Brown, he said that we should of asked when the door was being put in and the claim was submitted as an emergency claim, I told him that the door was fitted 4 days after the breakin which isn’t an emergency and we should of been informed at least regarding the excess, I don’t feel we should be responsible for something we didn’t have any knowledge of, someone put their signature on a document that I had to sign without my permission and that is fraud
