On the 25th of November 2024 i was debited an amount of R11570.74 from National Debt Management and i have been trying to dispute this transaction with the bank because it was not authorized, I have been in contact with the merchant somewhere in October and we agreed that we will put everything on hold on the 06 November 2024 until I'm done sorting out some of the things in my end, debit check was done 31 October 2024 but i was expecting them to cancel the debit order after our conversation on the 06 Of November 2024.My life is in shambles currently can't even put food on the table due this amount of money taken out of my account. I have been in contact with FNB ever the transaction took place but I'm not finding joy, no one is willing to assist. No reference has been granted they keep on saying they will get back to me.

I`m fuming right with the service i got from NDM , a very friendly lady by the name of Nadine contacted me on the 16th November 2020 saying i`m one of 5 customers choosen by the government to reduce the interest on the credits i have, i advised her that i`m not interested as i`m managing my Vehicle account correctly and i don`t mind the interest i`m paying and the term , she kept convincing me after almost an hour of convincing and i finally fell for it, not knowing that im shooting myself on the foot , i send them all my documents, and the debit order ran on my pay day , now 3 months down the line i`m getting calls from my creditor and to top it all off the account is now handed over to the Legal department with arrears of 10k on my name . I contacted them regarding the calls i`m getting from MFC they telling me that they have send the 17.1 to the creditors to my surprise why are they contacting me if they have received the 17.1 . They not giving me any answers , i have never seen such incompetent company .So if you get a call from NDC do not fall for this people they so incompetent. TO DATE THEY HAVE NOT SEND THE 17.1 TO THE CREDITORS

I received a call from NDM in October or November 2020, and was told that they would reduce the interest rates of my ABSA vehicle finance and credit card debt. However, I was not informed of the negative repercussions and long term inconvenience that I would have to endure as a result of my decision to be placed under debt management. Money was debited from my account, my Cheque and credit card accounts have been placed on hold and my debit orders bounced. I immediately informed them of this and instructed them to cancel my agreement with them because of all this drama. The process to refund the money is progressing. I was told that I would be refunded after 20 days. I am also still waiting for NDM to send ABSA a clearance certificate so that my accounts can be restored as before. I have experience impatience and a bad attitude from a man called Calvin. I would like to warn people to rather do business with a well-known and professional debt management company.

I've found my experience with National Debt Management so far to be very lacking at best. They phone you and are very friendly and eager to help you, however once you've submitted the required documents and accepted their debit order things start going down hill. You need to practically beg them to get your documents form them as when you ask them politely for it you just get "I will respond to you today" Though when today actually is they fail to clarify. Then when you get your documents it is a complete mess with incorrect amounts, addresses, place of work, contract details to name a few. O and no where does it state how ling your agreement with them is. When you ask them they just respond "But that is what is your information at the credit bureau" Can't you realize by yourselves that it is physically impossible for a person to stay in a postal box address?? O and apparently your details will never feature so they are not that important. Not even a month with them and I'm already getting the feeling I'm going to be regretting accepting their help...
