My battery charger developed a fault way outside of the warranty period , asked if it could be repaired and was subsequently given a new unit. Buy local and support companies that value and carry out excellent customer care !

A while ago I bought a Fridge/Freezer combination. Unfortunately, the power supply cable stopped working due to loadshedding. In spite of their factory being located in Gauteng they couriered a new power supply cable to me in Cape Town where I was om holiday. Exceptional service from Frans Coetzee and his team. Thank you.

I recently replaced my camping fridge with a new national luna fridge freezer. Was immediately impressed with low battery consumption and silent operation. But then suddenly the 220 volt cycle would not kick in. Not having a service agent nearby I thought this was going to be a long and tedious warranty claim. Phoned national luna on Tuesday and was helped by Kobus. Immediately diagnosed the issue and send swap out Electrical parts by courier and I had the fridge running by Friday. Awesome service No worries about warranty if I open the fridge and do it myself just practical and helpful. Thanks guys love the product and service back up

After consultation with National Luna on my issue withe the fridge/freezer, thier management decided that I am on my own and need to pay the full amount to fix the unit. Appatently the unit has to be built into a new housing/frame. Not a reliable/robust product if it has to be rebuild into new housing after barely any use.

I purchased a fridge/freezer from Outdoor Warehouse in Rustenburg in 2016. In the same year after barely any use, the unit was sent back to National Luna for repairs. And since the first repair it has been sent back several times with the same issue. The unit is stored in a spare room and is maybe used once or twice a year when camping. The rest of the time it might be used in the house, but not at all used like camping fridge/freezers are put through the paces and taking a beating like the manufacturer claims they can. The unit is still basically new, but was sent back again last year. Now National Luna sends me a quote of R5000 for repairs for something I have barely used. Poor service and according to my experience not worth the money if the product breaks with minimal use.

I took my fridge/freezer in to Outdoor Warhouse on the 2 Nov 22. They said repairs 2-4w. It is now 7w and every time just excuses. Now they have closed for the year. Said they would attend to it in the new year. I do not have my freezer, as we needed it for our holidays. Wors service ever.

Another holiday another National Luna fridge fail. This is my 3rd 90 litre fridge that has failed they are over R15 000 and don't last at all, my first 2 just died on holiday ruining all my meat, the 3rd one's plastic insides so brittle it disintegrates into pieces and the fridge's insulation fills up with moisture and water making the fridge useless as a fridge. R15000 for the fridge and R1000 each time to fix the fridge under warranty. So it's been R17 000 and I still don't have a working fridge

The arrogance and disregard displayed by the HOD of the service department is absolutely appalling. I have over the last 6 months, had no less than 4 fridge/freezers that needed a service. One of them being a warranty claim which was a brand new unit (not even a month old). Outdoor Warehouse even said "good luck in gettting a swift response" Every single time your patience is tested, as they will take the maximum potential time to attend to your need before sending you a quotation to attend to the work. Once the quote is accepted, you are guaranteed another 1-2 weeks before getting your commodity back. If you ever phone to get progress reports, you will definately have to make many a phone calls to try and get hold of the HOD, as he never returns phone calls (who will proudly tell you that he is too busy/in meetings and that is why he struggles to return calls) When you buy a premier unit, like a National Luna fridge/freezer, you would expect that the after-sales and back-up service would be of a premier standard. Boy, was I wrong. I was told by the HOD that units come from the East and from Italy, and that I must manage my expectations of quality accordingly. Shocking to hear that from their management. Surely there must be other brands out there with better service and pride of their brand.
