Service advisor called Riaan, very rude when I wanted to book my car in for a 30K service. I had to tell him I will rather look for another dealership and he still shouted saying I wanted to use warranty for an irrelevant part as I was walking out. That dealership needs to check their customer service.

Excellent experience with this branch. Took my car in for a service recently and from the moment I arrived I was treated professionally. I did not have to wait a long time and within 30 minutes I was booked in and ready to leave. They called me to know when it was ready and offered a lift. Very happy

Greetings, took my car to Nissan Menlyn for a major service. When the car got back it wouldn't start, I then took the car to Nissan Gezina for diagnosis, the diagnosis came back and said it's the BCM Body control module and it would cost R15000 to fix it. I paid and when the car got back the airbag light was on, I took it back to Gezina and they switched the light off. After a day or so the car started to malfunction, it would switch itself off, reff itself and switch on and off the dashboard lights. I took it back to Gezina and I was told my battery is flat, a battery that I bought less than 2 years ago. The car can't start therefore I need a new battery so that the car can switch on and be assessed. I'm so frustrated, I wanted to buy the new Magnite but after my experience, I'm taking my money somewhere else, maybe to Hyandai.

A traumatic experience of my life. on the 5th of July 2019 I have visited Nissan/Renault menlyn to procure service kit for my wife's car, when I enter the door the cordless telephone hit my knee when I check the white service consultant was busy arguing with a black technician and throw him with a cordless phone while I was still shocked that white guy stormed out of the office didn't even bother to apologize to me. while I was waiting on the queue to be assisted the Manager approached and ask me to come to his office, and again he was didn't ask me how I was feeling or did the cordless phone has injured me or something, all his was concern " what have you heard'' that's all, so that he can be able to protect his white brother. since that incidence when am doing my morning run I feel a knock on my knee and I think that throw from the white guy made an impact, I don't know as a consumer in this new democratic dispensation what are my rights pertaining to this incident, and lastly, I feel pity for that black technician they way he was treated in front of customers and he also confessed to me that ''my brother this is how we treated here''. so, I never thought 2019 there are still white guys out there who treat our black brother like that especially in the private businesses.

I went to Nissan Menlyn to have my brake pads replaced. When I got onto the highway to start my long 3 hour journey to work my car started shaking and I started to panic. A hundred thoughts went through my mind as to what can be wrong and what am I suppose to do now on this busy highway while I am panicking. I was so anxious and confused I thought it might be a fault with my tyre. I thought it would be best to get off at the safest place and go to a tyre centre. This was not at all ideal. Even though I left ample time to get to work, I was starting to run late when I had to wait an hour and a half for my vehicle just to get onto the ramp to be inspected. Finally my vehicle was on the ramp and I thought they would quickly find out the problem, rectify it, and I'll be on my way. I was sitting waiting for them to inspect my vehicle when a workshop employee that was working on my vehicle approached me with his eyes wide open and eyebrows raised with a fearful look on his face. He asked, pointing at my vehicle, "Is that your car?" I said, "Yes Sir that is mine." Very perplexed, I asked, "Why Sir?" At this time I was still so confused as to what was going on. The gentleman then lead me to my car and pointed to the front right tyre of my vehicle and looked at my face for my expression. I wasn't sure what he was pointing at so I asked him what was wrong with the tyre. He then proceeded to point out the problem on the tyre and that is when I almost fell over backwards. Nissan Menlyn- when replacing my brake pads- did not put all my nuts back onto my wheel and the two that were on were not put back properly!!! The gentleman at the tyre centre could loosen those nuts with his bare hands with no equipment necessary!!!!!!!!!! Completely unknown to me I was driving on the highway with a wheel that was not on properly!!!!! I could've rolled my car and caused a major accident and could also have severely injured other motorists. By this stage, almost the entire tyre centre was standing at my car with shock and disbelief written across their faces. Another tyre center employee then explained that they don't stock Nissan tyre nuts because the tyres they replace have nuts on already, I mean duh right?! I clearly still didn't understand how non-existent this problem is, who doesn't put the nuts back on a wheel?!?! Nissan Menlyn that's who. The employee had to contact Nissan Menlyn and explain the situation to them so that they could bring nuts for my vehicle. They took quite awhile to get there with the nuts and they looked more lost than I was an hour earlier. They were unfortunately not trained in Customer Service 101, they didn't even great me, and after they left and they gave no apology, I was irritated but also thought Customer Service is not their department so I'll wait until Nissan calls me as they said they would to the tyre workshop employee they were communicating with. My focus and stress was getting to work- although at this stage getting to work on time was not going to happen. During this whole debacle I was in constant communication with my employer to keep him updated as to my progress. An entire 4 hours later at the tyre center was I able to leave for work, 15 minutes before my shift was suppose to start and I had a 3 hour drive ahead of me. To add insult to injury- NOT ONE Nissan employee has called to apologise or to try and rectify the situation!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to get hold of the Workshop Manager and the Dealer Principal and it was extremely difficult to get hold of either. Finally when I did, I thought okay now I am speaking to the right people and they can finally assist me. BUT NO I was wrong, they brushed me off and ignored me. To add EVEN MORE INSULT TO INJURY I was told by the Dealer Principal that he can't communicate with me and their lawyer will contact me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How does this have anything to do with a lawyer? Also an update, I have not heard ONE word from the lawyer. So 2 months on, still, not even an apology from anyone. Nissan Menlyn will never see me again.

"Never buy a Nissan" this are very hars words, let me inform you of my experience with my Nissan NP200 then YOU DECIDE!!! My nissan np200 that i bought out of the box brand new, that has been for all it services at Nissan. 1.On about 5000km my aircon gave problems and left me stranded and continued to do so for the next 6months in and out of nissan trying to get it fixed. 2. Then on about 60 000km the cambelt broke and damaged my head and valves and yet again left me stranded. My brand new car's engine had to be opened and repaired never to be the same again. After Nissan's highly qualified technicians worked on my vehicle, i noticed missing bolts, loose bolts, broken wires, electrical connections not plugged in(keep in mind i noticed all of this). 3. I was yet again without a vehicle due to the fact that i had to take the vehicle back to nissan days after the had worked on it just to give them a second chance to fix thier mess. Which never got fixed 4.on 65k km Again bakkie went to nissan for a faulty idle sensor wich took them several weeks to get the part for, and yet again i was stranded. 5. On 80k km my computer box blew and yet again left me without my vechile for days 6. Now on 85k km my bakkie is yet again at nissan for electrical issues that drain the battery multiple times in a week. Soo yet again i am stranded. This morning the service consultant interrogated me on what he thought the problem might be and that my vehicle was not under warranty anymore when in fact it is still under warranty. He also told me that they would not be able to help if it is a electrical problem, after i phoned them yesterday explained my situation and they agreed to have a look and advise me on the vehicle and made a booking. Dont buy nissan Not with your hard earned money You wil be without your vehicle for months and you business wil wil be losing allot of money due to you being stranded often, i have spent thousands on towing services and car hire.
