All I have the energy to say after realising once again that Discovery has dropped the ball, STAY AWAY FROM DISCOVERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a NEVER ENDING BATTLE WITH THEM!!!!!! REALLY!!!! And in EVERY division!!!!!!! Life, Vitality, Insure, Card, Health!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just don't commit yourself to them, STAY AWAY!!!!!!! I was told someone is going to assist me with updating my Salary Income Replacer and that person has fallen off the grid. If something happens and my Salary Income Protector is too low to sustain myself in the event of a reason to render me unable to work, WHAT THEN??!?!?!?!!?!? IS DISCOVERY GOING TO HELP ME THEN?!?!?!?! OF COURSE NOT BUT I AM DOING EVERYTHING I CAN DO TO GET IT CHANGED AND ABSOLUTELY NO HELP FROM DISCOVERY. Discovery I am STILL WAITING FOR ASSISTANCE!!!! HOW MANY WEEKS/ MONTHS/ YEARS SHOULD I EXPECT TO WAIT FOR ANY HELP FROM YOU????!?!?!?!?!?! Thank you for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING discovery!!!
No one reads my emails properly and are NOT assisting me at all!!!!!!!!! The amount of time I have spend trying to rectify problems Discovery has caused is UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!! I am going to start invoicing Discovery for the time I spend trying to fix the problems they cause as they clearly think it is my job to do all their work for them. Once again I am having to take time out of my day to try and fix their problems- that is time WASTED that I could spend WORKING!!!!! After Discovery, Net assess is literally the worst company ever. They didn't know (Net assess and Discovery) where my car was for two weeks after an accident!!! They lost an entire vehicle, and they couldn't care less. Absolutely appalling. How is it possible to have such little respect for your clients and of one of their biggest assets. Discovery and Net assess can't even care one bit for you or your belongings. Absolutely shocking and disgusting. This affiliation between Discovery and Net assess exists only because either: 1.) THERE IS MONEY BEING PAID "UNDER THE TABLE" 2.) DISCOVERY DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS In my opinion, it is for both reasons. I have never been given one reason to trust or count on Discovery or Net Assess- birds of a feather flock together. I was promised by Discovery and Net Assess that they will assess my vehicle today and they are no where in sight and the scary thing is that I am not ONE BIT surprised. No one at Discovery or Net assess can be held to their word. Run from these two companies as far as you possibly can.

The banking app seems to never be working- you can't log in, it won't let you make payments, the service is terrible. No one gets back to you!!!!!!!! I have been trying to sort out my medical aid and to pay for my medical aid for weeks now. To make matters worse, it won't allow me to make payments for my medical aid with them!!!! How does that work??!?!?!?!?! I have tried at least 15 times. This is absolutely unacceptable and surely not allowed?! Even though Discovery is suppose to do their job, it almost becomes a full time job for you to get things sorted out. You need to call the call centre over and over and over and over and over again and then some more to get answers but NOTHING gets done. You can email them as well, NOTHING happens!!! Trying to track down the call centre representative that was "assisting" you is also an absolute nightmare!!!!! I've used up all my minutes on my contract after being on the phone with them for close to, if not more, 5 HOURS!!!!!!!!! And to make matters worse, STILL NOTHING FROM THEIR SIDE HAS BEEN DONE!!!!!!!!! The amount of time that I have spent trying to get my stuff sorted is shocking!!! The amount of time it has taken out of my day and productivity is gross!!! I requested them to remove the broker "dealing" with my Discovery insurances, for sensitive reasons, and asked the lady on the call to please remove the broker ASAP 3 TIMES and almost straight away that broker was CC'ed in an email to me with sensitive information. What on earth is going on at Discovery?!?!?!? If I am not struggling with Discovery Bank, I am struggling with Discovery Insure (they lost my car for 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!), or I am struggling with Discovery Health (I've been trying to get answers from them for 5 weeks now regarding my medical aid!!!!!!!!!!!) and currently I have NO MEDICAL AID COVER and I just sit and wait and wait and wait and wait and wait for them to get back to me. What will happen if I need medical attention while I am not covered (due to Discovery's total lack of service and tardiness)?!? Will Discovery assist and pay for my treatment? I highly highly doubt it. I am having to fill in declarations now and have extra admin because Discovery has taken so long to sort out the issue (and it still hasn't been sorted out). So because of their absolute shocking "service", and that is using the term very loosely, I AM having to do extra admin. I should be remunerated by Discovery because clearly they think I need to do all the work. Discovery has caused stress after stress for me. They don't care that I am currently sitting without medical aid. Not one care in the world and I am the one that has to take the brunt!!!!!!!!

I went to Nissan Menlyn to have my brake pads replaced. When I got onto the highway to start my long 3 hour journey to work my car started shaking and I started to panic. A hundred thoughts went through my mind as to what can be wrong and what am I suppose to do now on this busy highway while I am panicking. I was so anxious and confused I thought it might be a fault with my tyre. I thought it would be best to get off at the safest place and go to a tyre centre. This was not at all ideal. Even though I left ample time to get to work, I was starting to run late when I had to wait an hour and a half for my vehicle just to get onto the ramp to be inspected. Finally my vehicle was on the ramp and I thought they would quickly find out the problem, rectify it, and I'll be on my way. I was sitting waiting for them to inspect my vehicle when a workshop employee that was working on my vehicle approached me with his eyes wide open and eyebrows raised with a fearful look on his face. He asked, pointing at my vehicle, "Is that your car?" I said, "Yes Sir that is mine." Very perplexed, I asked, "Why Sir?" At this time I was still so confused as to what was going on. The gentleman then lead me to my car and pointed to the front right tyre of my vehicle and looked at my face for my expression. I wasn't sure what he was pointing at so I asked him what was wrong with the tyre. He then proceeded to point out the problem on the tyre and that is when I almost fell over backwards. Nissan Menlyn- when replacing my brake pads- did not put all my nuts back onto my wheel and the two that were on were not put back properly!!! The gentleman at the tyre centre could loosen those nuts with his bare hands with no equipment necessary!!!!!!!!!! Completely unknown to me I was driving on the highway with a wheel that was not on properly!!!!! I could've rolled my car and caused a major accident and could also have severely injured other motorists. By this stage, almost the entire tyre centre was standing at my car with shock and disbelief written across their faces. Another tyre center employee then explained that they don't stock Nissan tyre nuts because the tyres they replace have nuts on already, I mean duh right?! I clearly still didn't understand how non-existent this problem is, who doesn't put the nuts back on a wheel?!?! Nissan Menlyn that's who. The employee had to contact Nissan Menlyn and explain the situation to them so that they could bring nuts for my vehicle. They took quite awhile to get there with the nuts and they looked more lost than I was an hour earlier. They were unfortunately not trained in Customer Service 101, they didn't even great me, and after they left and they gave no apology, I was irritated but also thought Customer Service is not their department so I'll wait until Nissan calls me as they said they would to the tyre workshop employee they were communicating with. My focus and stress was getting to work- although at this stage getting to work on time was not going to happen. During this whole debacle I was in constant communication with my employer to keep him updated as to my progress. An entire 4 hours later at the tyre center was I able to leave for work, 15 minutes before my shift was suppose to start and I had a 3 hour drive ahead of me. To add insult to injury- NOT ONE Nissan employee has called to apologise or to try and rectify the situation!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to get hold of the Workshop Manager and the Dealer Principal and it was extremely difficult to get hold of either. Finally when I did, I thought okay now I am speaking to the right people and they can finally assist me. BUT NO I was wrong, they brushed me off and ignored me. To add EVEN MORE INSULT TO INJURY I was told by the Dealer Principal that he can't communicate with me and their lawyer will contact me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How does this have anything to do with a lawyer? Also an update, I have not heard ONE word from the lawyer. So 2 months on, still, not even an apology from anyone. Nissan Menlyn will never see me again.
To whom it may concern, I would just like to applaud you on a very well run and exceptional hospital. I was admitted to high care at your hospital for 4/5 days in February of this year. As awful as I was feeling from the sepsis, I was comforted and every nurse, sister, matron, and doctor that cared for me was fantastic. They were constantly double checking on me and were genuinely thoughtful and you could see from a mile away that their careers are their passion. I had two panic attacks whilst in high care and the staff were so swift to to remedy my situation and had me calm in no time. They were considerate and extremely empathetic. The standard of care was just as as phenomenal when I was moved to the general ward for the last day or two. The cleanliness was impeccable and the bathrooms were immediately cleaned without a fault after a patient had a shower. To say I am impressed with the overall experience would be an under statement. I unfortunately reside in Pretoria and couldn't make use of your hospital when I had to go in last week, I was rather discomforted by this fact. I almost wanted to fly down to Durban for your quality of treatment. Your hospital has surely left a long and lasting memory in mind. In all my trips to the hospitals over the years, I have never come across a hospital like Ahmed Al Kadi. Your employees go beyond the call of duty and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful care I received when I was in desperate need an unable to care for myself. I sincerely apologise in the delay of my message. I hope this message finds the right person.
Geez, I don't even know where to start. Milpark is terrible and not one employee there knows what they are doing. If you are looking to for the worst experience of your life and want an uphill battle- register with Milpark. I can not warn someone enough to not apply at Milpark. The incompetency there is on another level of ridiculous. Every problem that I have experienced with them (and there has been an abundance of issues), doesn't get sorted out. I am still waiting for results to show from an exam I wrote in July. The "support services" and "student support" is an absolute joke. Please don't waste your money and apply at Milpark. I was told that if I pay a fee for an extension, my extension will be completely sorted. And then they turn around and say there is another fee I have to pay first?!?! Milpark takes advantage of you and you really are only a cash cow to them. Save yourself the stress and agony Milpark will put you through and register with an institution that will assist you completing your degrees and achieving your dream, because Milpark will not do that. I really do wish I read their reviews before I registered with them, I could have saved myself a lot of time, money, and unnecessary distress.
