Very disappointed by the service received.
I have ordered a tool on the 31 March with a notice that the collected by the courier on 1 April 2026. I am still waiting for the parcel. I have called and then get told it is being escalated but no feedback and I am still in the dark. I don't think I will use them again as I buy tools every month but was disappointed by them before. Then I decided to give them another opportunity to prove me wrong but here we are.

My previous review of Northern Bolt did not do the company justice, and I want to set the record straight. After purchasing a defective item and receiving no response from the sales team — despite emails and eventually taking to social media out of sheer frustration — I was contacted by Stuart. What followed was nothing short of exceptional. Stuart didn't just apologise; he listened, he understood, and he acted. The defective unit was returned, my refund processed, and everything was handled with remarkable efficiency. He went well above what I expected, and that level of care genuinely restored my confidence in Northern Bolt. I hold Northern Bolt to a high standard precisely because I believe in what they offer. Stuart clearly shares that standard. My only hope is that his sales team takes a page from his book — timely responses and attentive service should be the baseline, not the exception. If you're on the fence about purchasing online, let my experience reassure you: when something went wrong, Northern Bolt — through Stuart — made it right. That counts for a great deal.

I purchased an Ingco 328-piece tool cart from Northern Bolt and Tools, and overall I had a very positive experience. The delivery was fast, and before shipping, Northern Bolt contacted me to inform me that three tools were missing from the cart. They clearly explained the situation and gave me two options: • ship the tool cart immediately and send the missing tools later once they received them from Ingco, or • wait until the tool cart was complete before shipping. Since I needed the cart right away and the missing tools were not urgent for me, I chose to have it shipped immediately. After the call, I realized I hadn’t asked for written confirmation about the missing tools, but Northern Bolt fully kept their word. They followed up promptly and later sent the missing tools as promised. I’m very happy with their communication, honesty, and customer service. Northern Bolt and Tools handled the situation professionally, and I will definitely continue buying my tools from them.

Great service and experience
Ordered online, wanted to pick up the items myself, but they said they didn't have one of the items available and said they will deliver for free because of that. The next day they phoned again saying unfortunately the wrong item arrived again, but offered me the item from another manufacturer for the same price. Friendly service, thanks!!
