I booked 2apartments, one of the apartments room had bed bugs even have a video showing the bed bugs.. the manager told us there is nothing she can do and that we the 1st clients to complain about bed bugs, after telling her we have a video of the bed bugs.. she’s expecting us to sleep in that apartment after she got her full service payment.

We booked Ocean villa resort for our family vacation from the 8th - 11th of January 2024. When we arrived at the venue to our surprise the rooms looked like nothing we saw on their website. The furniture was very old and ugly the rooms had a damp smell. The outside area was also dirty. The garage doors were opened throughout our stay and the inside was filled with old, dirty things, it was not a pleasing sight . To top it all their facility manager named Eugene Catherine was rude and disrespectful to some of our family members, he found them in the pool area on our last night and instead of asking them politely to leave as it was already late he spoke to them in a demeaning and disrespectful tone. The only good thing about the place was the cleaning staff and the lady security working at the gate, they were very friendly and helpful.

We booked Ocean villa resort for our family vacation from the 8th - 11th of January 2024. When we arrived at the venue to our surprise the rooms looked like nothing we saw on their website. If it was possible to put down a zero or negative rating, I would. The place at Oceans Rock Villa was not what was advertised. Nothing in the room we booked was working, no wifi , no Netflix. The room was an interleading room where people could use a toilet right next to your room, so no privacy. The windows were dirty, room smelt damp. When we called the host, he was not very helpful and insisted "we had read the advert wrong" before booking. We had to leave and book somewhere else. I would not recommend!! We escalated the issue to Booikng.com who told us it is up to the owner to get a refund which we did not get. This app and the owners at Oceans Rock Villa in Durban are all a scam

the manager was rude and didnt allow me to take my girlfriend to the casino and come back and drop her off at 3am and said that he was going to kick the whole family out of the premises. He then told me to bring my lawyers and come and said I was having attitude and he will also have attitude. He told me rudely to jump in my car and leave. It was a nasty experience and I wont advise anyone to stay there and his licence should be revoked and taken away from him.

This past weekend, the 28th of May till 30 May 2021, 24 of my family members booked 4 houses at Ocean Villa in Umhlanga Rocks. Initially we were told that each house accommodates 8 people only to be told that only 6 people per house can be accommodated and the extra people were not allowed in thus we ended up booking 4 houses, unexpectedly. the houses were not all that impressive, old furniture, old bathrooms and very poor staff service, from the security personnel to the cleaners who were rude. Each house paid a deposit of R2000 and we were told that we would gwt our deposit back should we leave all as we found it. mind you, upon check.in, no one accompanied us to do a check.pf what was available. upon check out, we ensured that all that we found was intact glasses, plates etc. when we were meant to get our deposit, we were told that we had broken a total of 18 glasses in one house! we were shocked and very angry as they reduced our deposit by R370 for nothing. Upon check out, no one came to check on what we had broken and we know we didn't break not a single glass. This was under hands and daylight robbery. I am hugely irritated a s disappointed. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. they are thief and extremely unprofessional

I booked accomodation for 22/01/2016 to 25/01/2016 with Heidi(receptionist) then I decided to change dates to 23/01/2016 t0 26/01/2016 which I confirmed with Heidi as well .we are now in Durban from Johannesburg and we are being vacated by the manager Danie he says there is no record showing changes even though we paid for 3 nights , Heidi is on leave and he is refusing to contact her , we are now stranded with kids with nowhere to go.
