I have yet to receive my payment from them. Every time I make a withdrawal request, they tell me to trade and request payment multiple times, but my withdrawal is always declined. It was at that point that I realized I needed to rep0rt this to the appropriate authorities. I found the right company that helped me reclaim my funds - G^al^way^re^lian^ce. They truly did an outstanding job, as I had already lost hope.

I am fortunate to have Stephan Kruis from the Cape Town branch as my broker. Optimum handles all my insurance policies and they not only reduced my monthly premiums... they actually made sure I am getting much more for less. Outstanding bunch of people. #WIN

They promise to pay you 30% commission successfully finalizes transactions. Then after the deals is completed and my commission must be paid, my emails are blocked and calls rejected. Maybe the Ombudsman should be contacted, if they cant keep to such simple agreement, how can they give professional financial planning or investment advice?

From the word go it has been poor advice, I was referred by financial adviser to make use of the insurance part of Optimum. It was a problem to get an agreement with correct info on, then no monthly statement. I had to give them 2 a year my recon. I then finally cancelled the insurance and I was informed that I get a refund back end of March. I was happy and thought finally they get their act together. As from today, I am still waiting for refund from them. PLEASE DON'T MAKE USE OF THEM...save yourself a major headache and get a bit more expensive insurance, in the long run, if you wait for proper documentation, imagine what would happen should you put in a claim!!!

Upon contacting my previous employer on 16 Mar 2016 I found out that Veronica Roberts is the broker dealing with my withdrawal of my provident fund. I contacted Liberty and they advised me that they have absolutely no documents on record. I contacted Veronica and she said that all documents was submitted at month end already. I contacted Liberty again and they confirmed that no documents have been received, again I contacted Veronica and she assured me the documentations was sent in to Liberty. I then asked Veronica to sent me the mail/proof of when the documents was sent in, she ignored my request, I sent the mail another 2 times on the 17th and still no reply. On the 18th after sending the mail again requesting the proof of mailing Liberty my withdrawal forms i phoned liberty again, they then confirmed that the documentation was only sent in on 16 March 2016. I find this very unprofessional as I as the client had to phone around to find out where my claim was. Veronica also altered an email from Liberty so that i cannot see the date the Liberty consultant sent on the email. I still haven't received any feedback from Veronica about when the claim was submitted.
