What a disappointing and unfortunate experience at Pearly Beach which I feel compelled to share because of the horrific nature of the incident. I visited the restaurant with friends on Saturday. Before leaving, we visited the bathroom. As the last one of my friends wanted to use the bathroom, she noticed a phone being held by someone in the cubicle next to us, clearly indicating that it was recording. All of us immediately informed one of the waiters, who informed her manager. He informed us that he would handle it as professional as possible. However, in the same breath he said that we should please not make this situation worse than it already was. He undoubtedly and very clearly dismissed our concerns and our right to privacy. After the waiter went into the bathroom, she confirmed that there were definitely more than one person in the cubicle. Eventually two young girls emerged from the cubicle. The manager made no attempt whatsoever to even try and When the two girls left the bathroom there was no attempt by the manager to question the girls, despite our visible distress. I confronted the girls myself. When I confronted the manager later on, his defense was that he did not have the right or permission to confront the girls as they were minors. The girls were most definitly atleast 13 -16 years old making them more than capable of realising what they were doing. Every day children are being exploited and trafficked. These two girls most definitely did not realise that they could be victims themselves if they pursued this kind of behaviour. The manager should have called their parents and informed them of what happened. We on the other hand did not receive as much as an apology for what happened on the premises. I am shocked and apalled by the whole situation and this restaurant would not have the privilege of serving me again.

⭐ Review for Pearly Beach Restaurant I had a very disturbing experience at this restaurant that I feel compelled to share. While using the ladies’ bathroom with friends, we noticed a cellphone being held over the top of one of the cubicles, with the screen clearly showing the recording mode. This is a severe violation of privacy. My friend and I both witnessed it. We immediately reported it to the staff and later to the manager, Walter. Despite our visible distress, their response was extremely disappointing. The staff went into the bathroom and confirmed there were two people inside, whispering and laughing, but they did nothing to remove or confront them. Eventually, two teenage girls walked out. We stopped them ourselves, confronted them, and demanded to see their phones. One apologized and claimed they were “just trying to see who was next door” and not recording. We were only able to check one phone before their mother arrived. Throughout all of this, the restaurant’s staff and management stood by and did absolutely nothing to protect or support us. We were left feeling anxious, violated, and dismissed. Even if the girls were telling the truth, the lack of urgency, accountability, and seriousness from Pearly Beach’s staff is deeply concerning. Privacy in a bathroom is non-negotiable, and the restaurant failed to take appropriate action in a situation that could have had serious emotional consequences. This experience has left me shaken, and I would caution others about the way management handled such a sensitive and serious incident.

Having been clients of Pearly's for many years, and allways enjoyed the experience, was most disappointed with our last visit. Food mediocre, service poor with not friendly staff. In future will stick to their great Pizzas.

Worst food experience ever! My family and I had lunch at Pearly's, and we were extremely disappointed with both the food and the service. We ordered the calamari and chips, which was listed as a main meal, but the portion size looked like a starter. When I raised this with the waiter, she said she would check. The manager, Eugene, later informed us that the portion was correct, and gave us the same plate back after we asked if the plate was fixed. The table behind us have received more calamari than our plate. To make matters worse, my wife’s mashed potatoes were served cold. Instead of replacing the dish, the manager offered to warm it in the microwave. That’s unacceptable—cold food should be replaced, not reheated. We also ordered a side plate of donut onion rings, but they were drenched in oil. There was so much excess oil pooled at the bottom of the bowl, it was clear they hadn’t bothered to drain them properly. It was unappetizing and disappointing. Pearly's used to be the go-to restaurant in Langebaan, but clearly, as soon as the place gets busy, service and food quality go out the window. This was the worst service I’ve ever received, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will not be returning.

I was with about 15 people eating lunch at Pearlys at Langebaan. Food was great but just to see the odd look on my brother's face when the waiter said they don't serve tap water and we will have to get bottled water to drink. This my brother said is ******* in Israel. Pearly restaurant, please give the customer the right to decide if he or she wants tap water or bottled. What a cheek!

I fell in Pearly's restaurant on the 30th of August due to wet floors. The manager admitted that one of his waiters fell on the same spot that evening. He asked if he can call a firat aider friend for me. He did not assist me with the paramedics. The paramedic made me pay R650 cash call out fee. I was not aware of this fee because the manager said they are covered. I was injured badly and had to wear a sling on my right arm for 2 weeks! The manager said that the paramedics scammed me. I eventually got a proof of payment from the paramedics. I called them and the owner of the medical company admitted that Pearly's was not covered for accidents and that they got a fright of the previous days accident woth me and took out medical insurance only on the first of September to cover thmeselves. I am sitting with bills and struggling to get hold of the manager. This is a scam restaurant and they are not covered properly for accidents. Think twice before you go there!
