Deeply disappointed with the service received from Platinum Properties. We approached them after relocating provinces, seeking a reputable agency to assist in renting a property. They were eager to secure the lease and assured us that a large, fixed wall mirror—one of the property’s key features—would remain in place. We also made it clear that we did not want to rent a property that was for sale. Shortly after moving in, we discovered through another resident that the property was, in fact, on the market—something Platinum Properties failed to disclose. Since then, we have endured a stream of calls and requests for access from trustees, valuators, and inspectors. At no stage did the agency communicate openly or professionally about the sale. To add insult to injury, we later received notice that the long-mounted mirror (in place for 13 years) would be removed, again without consultation or consent. In summary, Platinum Properties has shown a disregard for transparency, tenant rights, and basic professionalism. Quick to collect payments, yet careless in communication and respect for tenants’ quiet enjoyment of their home. I cannot recommend them under any circumstances.

Worst service ever and a very RUDE agent called Riette, we have had non stop issues getting any service from this agency since 2018!!!we've had so much damage to our property because of no maintenance being done!!! Our levies is sky high started R1300 in 2018 now over R2000 but still if there is an emergency leak of water you wait weeks to get anyone to respond from the agent or she just doesn't do anything at all!!!! There are so much mold we can get healthy issues, but no one takes it seriously?? No maintenance people want to work at our complex due to not being paid? Where is the money going??? We are fed up!!!

We bought a house through an agent by name of Enrico Fabbri in 2017. The house looked great, but had certain things that were a bit run down: The roof had holes and were leaking. - Subsequent to our conversation with Enrico, expressing our interest in the house, we asked that they repair the roof to prevent further leaks, and also cover the ceiling. He, along with the then home owner, agreed to do this. But after moving into the house, not even a month into it, during the rainfall season of November / December 2017, the bedroom wall distilled water, and so did the hallway just outside the bedroom. At this point, Enrico said he would send someone out to fix this problem, and he never did. Secondly, we never got our house plan. We're in the process of selling our home now, and we don't have a house plan, a waterproofing plan and discovered, that the Electrical certificate was bogus and full of lies. When the electrician came to our house now, to conduct an assessment for the Electrical certificate, he found many irregularities, starting with our pool pump which he didn't even understand how could have been passed as compliant. He said there was a lot of bridging of wires, basically a hazardous electrical box. He asked us, where we got our electrical certificate from, and we told him it's the one we got from Platinum Properties, via their agent Enrico Fabbri, who no longer works at Platinum. I complained about Enrico back in 2018, only to find out he'd left the company, and that his cell phone number, was given to another agent. Platinum as a company, did not even bother themselves with taking upon Enrico's duties to assist us, and last year, I contacted someone called Steven Mcclaren, who instead gave me a number of a person I can call to get a house plan. So basically, I must scramble to get a house plan, that should have come standard with the house. As first time home buyers, we didn't even know that we had to ask for a house plan, a waterproofing plan or even a valid electrical certificate. I wish we had done more homework than to be conned by Platinum property agents, who only had one goal, to make commission and move on without ensuring the house was suitable and comfortable for us. As I type this, we're still owing a house plan for the new buyers, a waterproofing plan, which I now understand, couldn't be given to us, because we'd find out that the whole roof is leaking. This is fraud! No one wants to take responsibility for this now, and I'm left to wonder, exactly what kind of real estate company this is, that allows agents to literally con people in order to get sales.

Please avoid doing business with Platinum Properties/ Letting Unlimited in Vanderbijlpark and especially Louise Henn. I have such a hassle to get my deposit of R6000 from them. When I moved in I was not invited to the pre-inspection of the property. A few days later I received a form to fill in to indicate any damages to the property. I indicated that the blinds are all problematic. When I moved out Louise once again did not invite me to the move out inspection. When I decided to join them she accused me of stealing a chair. I told her it was in the bedroom. Later the week I was charged for professional cleaning services, cupboards with no *****s and blinds that I broke. I NEVER SIGNED FOR ANY OF THESE DAMAGES. AVOID THIS COMPANY PLEASE WHEN YOU LOOKING FOR LETTING AGENTS IN VAAL.

On the 3rd of March 2020, I received an email from the credit bureau stating that I need to pay rent immediately before I get black listed but there was an email exchange from me, the real estate agent Nd owner to change the due date for rent and I was given a leniency of the 7th of every month by the owner. I have communicated with Louise Henn regarding this and she told me that there is nothing that can be done and she is going according to the contract even after I had asked to meet with her on the 4th of March 2020, she sent me a voice not stating that my visit to her office is futile because nothing is going to change and still repeated that she is unable to change anything because of the contract even after a leniency period from the owner was given. I then sent her a message stating that I will be taking this up with ombudsman because I was given a leniency period that she did not inform the credit bureau about. She then replied with a thumbs up emoji.
