I had an absolutely amazing experience with Poly Outdoor Blinds. From start to finish, their service was exceptional — professional, friendly, and incredibly efficient. The attention to detail in their work is truly impressive. Every aspect of the installation was handled with precision and care, and the final result exceeded my expectations. You can really see the pride they take in what they do. Not only was the workmanship impeccable, but the team also went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and exactly how I envisioned it. I would highly recommend Poly Outdoor Blinds to anyone looking for top-quality outdoor solutions and outstanding service. Truly a 5-star experience!

I am absolutely disgusted with the service and workmanship from Poly Outdoor Blinds. Your sales representative came out twice to measure and still managed to get the measurements wrong. When the blind was first installed it was too short, and instead of fixing their mistake properly they tried to extend it with a random cut piece of fabric from a roll. That is completely unacceptable for something we paid a lot of money for. The blind was also installed hanging into our neighbour’s yard with large gaps on both sides, which completely defeats the purpose of installing a weatherproof blind. When my husband phoned to question this, the sales rep said one thing on the phone and then immediately changed his story when I joined the conversation, which was incredibly unprofessional. We then contacted head office and spoke to Jo-Anne, who told us this is not how they do business and promised the issue would be fixed. The blind was removed and brought back two weeks later, but the “fix” was a terribly sewn extension that looks uneven and badly done. It honestly looks like something a child stitched together. The blind is still not straight, there are large gaps in the front, and the extra rain flap length that was promised was never properly added. Their response was simply that “this is the only way it will stop the rain or wind.” That is simply not true. If the blind had been measured properly and made correctly the first time, none of this would be happening. We paid in full when requested, yet this is the level of workmanship and service we received. It is shocking that a company charging these kinds of prices thinks this is acceptable. The only professional people we dealt with were the installation crew, who were understanding and immediately saw the problem. They even said they had already told the sales rep that what he planned was not going to work. At this point I have completely lost trust in this company. This level of poor workmanship, broken promises and lack of accountability is unacceptable.

What can I say about this company. Wel to be brutally honest, Poly Outdoor Blinds is by far the best when it comes to product quality and service delivery! From the start, Jo-Anne was friendly and willing to assist us. I honestly thought this was going to be a headache, but to my surprise, Jo-Anne made the arrangements for the site survey to be done, we explained what we want. We received the quote, payment was made and a week later its done and installed! WOW!! They even went out of their way to accommodate us by doing the site survey and the installation on Saturday because during the week was just impossible. That really says allot about them and that kind of service is extremely hard to come by these days. Thank you for your professionalism and great service! We will definitely recommend you to anyone who needs outdoor blinds. Keep up the good work!

if i could give no stars i will. Do NOT buy from these people. They scammed me out of my blinds. Made me pay a 50% deposit, and never delivered, with every week a different story when i had to ask the whole time, until the sales man said "sorry i left the company" after i asked for a refund These people will take your money, and never deliver

We've asked around for reliable companies that can install outdoor patio blinds / canvassing We were referred to this company by a friend The first installation was done during April of this year All good no issues Workmanship excellent But then we made arrangements for the second installation to be done 5 August (note we booked this date well in advance) We've also paid the total outstanding amount so we don't owe anything Now a week later the installation still has not been done and the manager keep making excuses that the installation team is on slow go and not pitching for work When I phoned today and spoke to the manager Sydney he said in fact the installation team has arrived...but now apparently they are first having a meeting... If you know you're work has fallen behind why would you then schedule a meeting It's now nearly 12 pm and I've still not heard from the company I did tell them if the installation is not done today then I want a full refund (I have this on whatsapp to the office and my phone also records calls)

I am so disappointed in this company's service. My bad experience started as follows. Early in January, I phoned them about a crack in my blind - my domestic cleaned my outside blind and called me to show the crack in my window. On the 29th of Jan, I had to email them stating that I am still waiting for their reply. Which they eventually came back to me per email saying that I should liaise directly with Martin their factory manager and they gave me his cell phone number. After which I tried phoning him 3 times, left messages and didn't get any reply from him. I emailed them, communicating all of this. On the 30th of Jan, Edita emailed me saying that I am welcome to phone their toll-free number and if Martin is in the office, she will take the phone to him. After doing this, still no success. So later that afternoon, I emailed again, stating that I am still waiting for Martin to contact me. Then finally on the 31st, they mailed back stating that the crack in my window (I had to send a photo), isn't a crack, but looks like a cut, which is probably due to a burglary. And that in all the years of their manufacturing, they have never seen a case of "cracking and hardening" - which I seriously doubt! She also said in her email that they checked their records and that my guarantee has expired in Aug '17. That firstly is wrong, since I bought the blind on 12 Aug 2015, and I have a signed 3-year warranty against HARDENING AND CRACKING! Which means my guarantee only expires in Aug '18. Then, I know for a fact that it wasn't an attempted burglary, since I live in Silver Lakes Golf Estate which is a high-end security estate, and I am sure if someone tried to rob me, I would have known. I also live by myself, so it couldn't have been children, etc. I emailed them all of the above info on 4 Feb. Late on the 5th of Feb, I had to mail again, stating that I am still waiting for a reply. Then finally in the afternoon on the 6th of Feb, they replied stating that they have changed suppliers since they installed my blinds due to an enormous price hike. The new suppliers soon after my blinds were installed only offer a 2-year guarantee. And they still fighting that my window isn't cracked, and insist that it was cut???!!! If they are so sure of this, why don't they send someone out, to check, then they won't think that I am lying? Then they also attached a quote to fix it, which came to R400. I obviously mailed them back saying that their switching of companies, has nothing to do with me and my warranty, it's their problem. I also said I will pay the R400, but don't agree with them and know for a fact that when my domestic was said to wash the plastic, this is what happened. Then on 7 Feb, Edita emails me and says I hope you understand that you will need to bring the blinds in yourself??? What?? So they expect me to drive 150km to Benoni and back, two days later again 150km to the factory and back to drop a blind? Me, as a woman of 71, living on my own must take it off and install it again?? I am still under guarantee with this blind until Aug 2018! I have never come across a company with such bad service towards a client!

When the Owner - Mike - is too busy to contact his staff and sort your problem out after seven weeks of phone calls, you understand why the Sales Rep - Wayne Snowdon - has no after sales abilities .This is a company you never want to deal with them. On the day we had our blinds installed we phoned the Sales Rep, to complain about a hole between the blinds and the lapa poles, so large I could fit my hand through. The rep finally makes an appointment to come and sort the problem out, but doesn't show or phone. Today he contacts me to rearrange, as I work I was unable to be there and he could not fit me in at any other time. Obviously very frustrated I complain about he not phoning me the previous day. His response is that because I have an attitude he refuses to come out and sort out my problem. I then phone the owner of the company Mike, who tells me he will investigate. When my husband phones the Owner Mike back to find out what the solution is. The owner - Mike - tells my husband that he is too busy to contact Wayne to sort out the problem. When my husband gets upset, he is told he has an attitude. The attitude is frustration !!! We were referred to this company through friends and we were repeat clients. As a small business you would think that they would care. No they don't !!! 7 Weeks later, no fix to our blinds, no show to appointments, no phone calls to apologize and we shouldn't be upset or frustrated !!! The bad attitude is you Waye Snowdon and Mike the owner of Poly Outdoor Blinds
