For almost 2years i am trying to get my claim resolved. No feedback i have to follow-up and if i do my calls are not being answered. Or they give the msg to the receptionist. If the call does get answered, then i am being told i might not get my money back. When i called them and asked for advice before everything was actioned. I had to contact the contact the other party to get information on my claim, very disappointed with the level of service i am getting, it's pathetic and i am a paying client.

I got accident the 1st August 2025 3rd party acknowledged their responsibility for their cost. I paid access fee to my insurance as I claimed with them. They advised about the recovery but didn't explain that is not guaranteed as is not covered only when I was making follow up then I found out about that. Since then I had to call 3rd party insurance, called 3rd party. I'm running around like I don't have insurance. Today is the 22/10/2025 no update I have to make follow ups. I called left a message for the consultant who is busy with it to give me a call but no one comes back to me.

I I have been with PMD insurance since December 2023.I was involved in a motor vehicle accident on my home from work on the 29 July 2024.I informed the insurance about the accident on the 30th (was given a courtesy car) while I did the police report the same day but I was told that the police station had no accident report forms and I should come back in 2 days.On the 1st the report was done and submitted.The insurance further requested the tracker,time sheets and pictures which were all submitted on the same week.I got a call that the claim on the 7th August 2024 that my claim was approved & I should take my car to the Krugersdorp panelbeaters as they have been appointed to repair my car.I took the car to the panelbeaters on the 8th August 2024 and the quotation of the repairs was done and sent to the insurance. I only recieved the quotation approval on the 16 August 2024.I went to the panelbeaters to check the car progress on the 22 August 2024 but I was told that they are waiting for the insurance to bring the parts as insurance said they will provide the panelbeaters with car parts.I called the insurance and I was told that the parts will be at the panelbeaters by the 23 August 2024 as they just recieved the parts at their office.I called the insurance again on the 27th requesting them to extend my curtesy car since I have not received my car and I need transport because I'm on call at work and the insurance refused saying it's beyond them.I laid complaint and i was told they will call me.On the 29 August 2024 I discovered that still the parts were not delivered.My partner spoke to 3 pmd employees and we discovered that Lebo is the person who had the car parts since the 23/08/24 but failed to deliver them to the panelbeaters so that they can commence with repairs.I got an email today from the panelbeaters saying they have received the parts but one is still missing.The insurance has not called to 1.update on the claim progress 2.Address my complaint 3.Assited me transport because of their delays. I need my car ASAP ,I'm a healthcare worker with emergency calls occasionally.I am frustrated and this is affecting me and my work.

PMD insurance is the worst insurance company ever. I have been patient with them but now I am frustrated. I had an accident on the 2nd of April and till today my car has not yet been fixed I am being taken from pillar to post. There was no 3rd party because it was a hit and run but because of that my process is being delayed!!! They are apparently waiting for my vodacom results which I think is ridiculous. I advice people to never consider this insurance company. I willingly pay you guys every month and I am still paying even though my car is not fixed and you are not treating this as a matter of urgency. I am highly frustrated and I am not happy with this insurance. Do not go for them they are the worst!!!!
