I've been trying for a long time to get my Telkom contract cancelled - still no cancellation.
Can't get my contract cancelled. I've emailed a few times with no response. I live abroad and can't just walk into a store.
I had a credit card with Discovery that expired. Suddenly years later I'm part of Discovery Bank and I'm paying fees without agreeing to anything. Months later I'm still paying the fees and interest on something I did not agree on. I'm very happy with their insurance, but just deducting extra money for a bank I'll never use (I live abroad) and making it impossible to cancel is unacceptable.
<p>I booked 2 tickets twice through firstly going to Skyscanner that referred me to Budgetair.com.</p> <p>The took the money for the 2 tickets twice and I still have no tickets.</p> <p> </p> <p>How can a company still refer them, this should be joined fraud. There are major complaints all over</p> <p>the internet on Skyscanner referring illegitimate websites.</p>
<p>I went onto Budgetair.com via Skyscanner. Purchased tickets from Saudi Arabia to Turkey.</p> <p>The first round the money went off my credit card, but the website said there was a problem with</p> <p>the payment. I've had this before with a website booking and got my reimbur*****t a day later, so</p> <p>I paid again on the same ticket - there were ONLY 2 tickets left and I had to book those tickets for </p> <p>me and my wife.</p> <p>So now I'm out of R20k and still no ticket and there is no one to phone, just a company email address to </p> <p>post an online comment. You get the emergency numbers etc. with the e-ticket, which I obviously never got.</p>
<p>I got in an accident with a Miway client on the 10th of May 2016. The lady drove into the side of my vehicle, clearly her fault. </p> <p>I immediately followed the procedures and got 3 quotes on the same day and sent it to Miway to start the process.</p> <p>They had all the required documentation on the 15th of May 2016 to start the process. After phoning various times to get a response from them after sending the documentation, I finally received an email that stated:</p> <p>"An assessor have been appointed and will be in contact with you, kindly allow the assessor estimated time frame of 7 working days to process the assessment." This was 23 May 2016.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have since escalated it 3times to more senior staff members and the answer is constantly that they'll contact me within the next few days (the last promise was within 24h). Thats after emails were ineffective and I phoned them AGAIN. Today is 23June and I've still not heard anything again. Everytime I phone they the person is not available and they take a message or make a promise to escalate it to resolve the issue. This is unacceptable. If a corporate company promises you service and time after time doesn't deliver, I'm not sure if they belong in this game. </p> <p> </p> <p>I had a simular experience with OutSurance about 4years ago. Within a week everything was resolved - they contacted me first and I received the money to pay for the damages within 3-4weeks of the actual accident. This has been more than a month and nothing is resolved. They have my documentation, thats it. I also had to contact them first because they just take the view that if its a 3rd party claim, its your problem to resolve it. This is most likely what is happening in general - it is a 3rd party claim and they are trying their best to avoid owning up to their responsibility for as long as they can.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is hands down the worst service I've ever received from any private company in SA.</p>
