I cancelled my ISP almost 2 months ago and processed an order with Vumatel/Afrihost the same day for the 01/07/2023. My line was cancelled and released by my previous ISP exactly on midnight on the 01/07/2023. Its been 62hrs and my internet line has not been activated, all the Afrihost call centre agents are clueless and waiting for Vumatel to respond. Both companies have zero customer service whatsoever!!! I have lost income, studying was a nightmare, updates from either company was a DREAM, having a sick family and a home that functions on internet was a colossal nightmare. Very irate NEW customer!!!
Recently due to the heavy rains and flooding my communal wall that is shared with my neighbor who has been living in his property for almost 20years collapsed. Only my side collapsed as his wall is made from stone and not bricks. His electric fence also got damaged and is still not working which is a security risk. FNB declined my claim stating my wall was to high, my question to FNB is why send an assessor to assess the property for insurance but did not alert me that my walls that have been build decades ago is too high. They gave me a premium and i accepted the cover but when its time to claim for damages then they quick to find ways to reject your claim, yet they do not take any responsibility for their stupidity or incompetence of assessing properties. Apparently my wall must be shorter then my neighbors so everyone can see!!!
With the recent rains and heavy flooding my roof started leaking through my dining room ceiling, it rained continuously for a few days and never had a chance to prevent any further damages. When the rain stopped i got onto the roof and waterproofed and membraned where i though t the issue was, i stopped about 80% of the leak at my own expense while the insurer took 2 weeks to decide to reject my claim due to neglect while it has been raining within those two weeks. I have spend over 25k for the year so far maintaining the roof and have the proof but apparently its not enough for FNB and they still see it as neglect. They expect you to climb on your roof monthly to do maintenance!!! I think they are overburdened by all the claims due to the weather and using any excuse to reject claims!!!
I have not received all my data for my contract since the 1st October, its almost the end of October and still have not received a whole 30GB. I have logged numerous requests and spoke to the backoffice, online sales, call centre, retentions office, sales and upgrades, even the person handling complaints and to date i have not been updated or assisted efficiently. Vodacom has the worst customer service support out of all the network service providers and everytime you want to cancel the contract do you a breach on their side, they promise to have it resolved after 2 to 3 days, well its been 24 days later and still have a lost data issue. How incompetent can vodacom staff really be???
I have not received all my data from my monthly contract from vodacom and when i tried to query it i had a very rude consultant that kept having a negative attitude and eventually dropped the call. This customer service agent eventually blocked my number so i cant call vodacom for assistance!!! i have tried everyday since the 1st of October but with no success as i keep getting directed to TOBI the most useless customer servicing BOT that cannot even use its AI to assist with my query... For the past 2 years of being on this contract i have had no issues but now that i do have an issue created by my so called service provider their customer services are pathetic!!!
Des Tyne is a scammer, takes your deposit and then spends it before even starting the work on your pool, he blames his workers for everything and when they don't show because they don't get paid he gets his lawyer to send you a letter to arrange a payment plan!!! He is a compulsive liar and a scammer don't use him at all, you will regret it, unfortunately I had to learn the hard way after losing 35k!!!
THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM they also use another company called Patio and Pergolas, do not use them, they do not have professional staff and pick up migrant workers off the road to do your work for R200 a day labour. They supply the cheapest material and always blame their backend staff for issues. They dont even do a quarter of the scope of work but demand full payment to complete the work. These are seasoned scammers and you should use them at your own risk!!!
I ordered a few gaming items from takelot in the past year and all their products are sub standard and deffective, i recently ordered a ps4 controller for R980 and its a fake one!!! How can such a huge company sell fake products at original prices!!! I will never buy anymore gaming stuff from takealot ever again and will advise my gaming forums the same!!!
So i took out a fibre month to month contract with VOX TELECOMS since 22 August 2019, i had the fibre installation already and all i needed was to migrate my line to VOX. I signed a MONTH to MONTH deal which included free setup and installation aswell as a router. I have had endless problems with VOX reported calls on numerous occasions and received no follow ups or feedback except that they will get back to me. During this period i managed to sell my house but was not sure how long the process would be. So now my house has been sold and i need to vacate the premises on 31 January 2020 so i contacted VOX to give a calendar notice. They inturn are telling me i need to pay a cancellation fee R1 008.00 which is not acceptable as it is a MONTH to MONTH contract and they never setup or installed anything besides activate my line on their side. Ive noticed they try to rob alot of their customers who either wanna move their lines or cancel their pathetic service!!! They have no business ethics and would not recommend VOX as a fibre or telecoms provider for anybody or company!!!
Been with Myiweb for 2 months now on a 20/20 line, since the day i got connected i havent recieved more then 6megs to date from them, besides the numerous outages that get blamed on vumatel after proving its the ISP and not the fibre line they say they will get back to you. After numerous days and calls zero customer service or updates to issues with the connection they still fail to care about their customers!!! They are the worst ISP in SA and they couldn't be bothered at all, their staff are incompetent and their technicians dont have a clue whats going on especially when interacting with an IT Specialist... Do not sign anything with MYIWEB they are worse then TELKOM!!! The problem you will end up having is that they have to release your line in order to get a new ISP which is rubbish!!!
