I was truly appalled by the service I received at reception at The Capital Mbombela. I had driven all the way there to arrange a pleasant weekend - staycation which was booked months in advance and was met with rudeness and disrespect from the receptionist. I asked for early check-in for the following day, but she rudely informed me that there were no bookings Thursday at the penthouse, and that I wouldn’t be able to get early check-in should anyone check in. I requested that she gives me a call in the morning to confirm if my request could be granted , so I make necessary arrangements , but she had the audacity to tell me that I wasn’t the only client and that I needed to call her and find out, she has million other things to do and she’s the only one on duty. How’s that my problem? She even said that if I couldn’t do that then there was nothing she could do. When I drove all the way to make the arrangement? Is this how the capital treats its customers?
I am sick of giving Nando’s Kyalami a chance hey. Wow. 3 weeks ago I bought Nando’s quarter chicken. No skin extra sauce, I got it with skin, burnt and no extra sauce to top it all the peri sauce was also not added yet I bought chips I mean that sauce makes the chips nicer. I then went to the restaurant last week and sat in and my chicken was under cooked I was told that I must say I want my chicken well done, since when do we have that option at Nandos? Do we now ask for medium rare chicken? This is really strange. Last night I got a takeaway again but my chicken looked strange, no meat on the drumstick and were floppy. I’m going to attach the meat pic. If this is what Nando’s has come to then they will lose customers honestly.
Had the worst experience at Nando’s Riverside Mall last night. Got there to order takeaways and firstly the service was off… the lady said I did not say which meat portion is asked for when I saw that it was written any side and asked… I knew that’s impossible because I always make sure but she wanted to argue, then she changed it to a leg portion which came burnt , with skin and no extra sauce like I asked. The food was terrible to say the least and the service was just the same. Wow! I’m actually appalled.
Took my car in for service at VW Nelspruit and I was not happy with the service. My car was in the day before the booked service and I was told that it would be ready at 12pm the next day. I got a call of the things that need to be replaced, I then instructed the service advisor what must be replaced and the quote was just ridiculous but I asked them to replace the coolant as well as they told me it is dirty, so a R1500 quote was given for that as well. I got a call at 12pm and I was told my car would be ready at 1pm. I told them I have a meeting at 3pm so 1pm is perfect. They only picked me up at 3:15pm, meaning, I have missed my meeting… so I get to the dealership and not everything was service the coolant wasn’t replaced only to be told that it’s not a big deal, coolant is only R300 you can buy it and do it yourself??? So what were they doing with my car this whole time? To top it all, they had those little cooler boxes being delivered and I asked for one as a token of “apology” for the inconvenience and they said no imagine. Anyway that was terrible service and to this day I’m in trouble for missing the meeting Nevermind the fact that I still have a “dirty” coolant in my car.
Unfortunately can’t select Southern sun because I recently had a complaint but in this one I actually want to compliment the staff at Southern Sun The Marine. Efficient, well mannered, good listeners and are just so friendly. I am not a morning person but the way in which my breakfast was served was top class. Not to mention the guy who was at reception, I think his name is Siya, he was so accomodating, the aircon in my room and he made sure i get a heater. that made my stay memorable. thank you so much!
I am so disappointed at Bidvest bank consultants it’s not funny, today I’m actually frustrated with them. There was a fraudulent activity in my account and my account was stopped. An investigation went on and resolved and last week I called Bidvest to ask if I need a new card I was told to go to an old mutual branch to confirm that, I was puzzled why old mutual but I went there anyway and did not get assisted. Today I call the call centre again to find out what I need to do because I really need my card and I am travelling so I obviously need to use it at the airport and I was advised I need to go to a Bidvest branch and a Nhlamululo was assisting me, he then cancelled my card without my authorisation or knowledge, I then drove 58km to Sandton City only to be told I cannot be assisted because I only had my driver’s license and my card was opened online. So now I am without a card and stranded, the call centre people are so useless they cannot advise clients properly as to what to do or what will be needed at the branch worst of all who said they must cancel my card? Now I am told I must wait 3-7 days for a new card to be delivered I DO NOT HAVE 3-7 days to be without a card I don’t understand how this bank is I am ready to leave the bank because I am stuck now I cannot even make any online purchases nothing!
On Tuesday morning we landed at Mthatha airport and we had a car rented out as a Class B. We were literally forced to take a Class A car (Suzuki Expresso) and they claimed it’s class B and they have no other car, yet on the booking they said Polo or similar, then they tell us that polo is never guaranteed but why give us a car that’s a lower class and lie to us because it’s not our fault they don’t have cars as we booked days in advance, that time we still had to drive to East London then PE, what about our safety in that small car as well as the distance was just too much for us to use that car it was such a terrible experience! When we got to East London they confirmed that the car was indeed a class A. thought Avis was of high standards and they keep up to them, clearly NOT! We then decide we will swap cars it the drive to east London was just too much (fatigue) When we get to EL we are told the car has a cigarette burn on the drivers chars, that burn was there when we got the car, I am unfortunately a non - smoker but do they think we are that irresponsible to an extent of burning a car seat in just 1 day of having that small car? I mean come on ! How irresponsible can one really be and if we really did smoke in the car they would’ve smelt it - (Logic) anyway…, I don’t see myself using this rental company again nor will I recommend it to anyone, the staff undermines us and took advantage and their chances with us to be honest!
I have never been disappointed at a southern sun until I went to the one in hemingways, it was my first time and the restaurant staff was so rude and it was so unnecessary, the waitress was Nolu and the other was Sibo, I don’t know if they were in a hurry to leave cause we got there before they closed as we were driving from Mthatha, Nolu gave us a stinking attitude and never served us our drinks as requested, she rolled her eyes at us (me and my colleagues- as we were there on a work trip) and there are drinks we didn’t even get. We bought a meal and asked for side plates she never brought them, my colleague asked for his meal to be brought to the table cause he initially asked for room service and they told us that they want to cash up he must decide what he wants, when our boss tried to resolve the issue Sibo told him that she is not talking to him. My colleague decided he will cancel his order because they are now being rude and also want him to pay for his food before it even arrives and they asked so “what must they do with the food cause it’s being prepared” we were so disappointed cause southern sun maintains its standard! Always! Even in the morning, it’s like your staff needs motivation as soon as a person speaks to them they are ready to attack. That was not a great experience, it really spoilt our stay cause thinking about going to the restaurant was a nightmare for us.
I complained about Bonitas a week ago regarding my cards that I have not received in 3 months. They replied here to say they will investigate but until today they haven’t investigated or even called me to find out what the issue is and resolve it! How unprofessional!!! I can’t wait to change this medical scheme.
I joined Bonitas on the 1st of July 2021 and have not received my card yet. I logged 3 calls already and still haven’t. Last week I had to see a dentist and they requested a physical card this is honestly an inconvenience. I called again yesterday for the 4th time and I’m told by an agent by the name of Mzwandile that he will request it again and if I don’t get in 15 days I must call again. Another 15 days? You people have got to be kidding me, at this point I’m even asking myself what’s the point of being with this scheme if the service is not up to standard.
