I've tried to leave a review on one of the products I received (because it does not smell close to the real thing) and it got removed TWICE. There are only positive reviews on their website. I took a risk ordering imitation perfume online but all the reviews were "positive". I would've just returned it but the return fee was also almost the same price as the perfume, so I'm feeling a bit ****med. Wouldn't recommend.
I placed an order on 10 December for 4 items (all Christmas gifts) that were all IN STOCK in CPT and available for next-day delivery. The delivery was then split in 2, and one item arrived on the 14th of December. The 3 other items STILL have not shipped and it is now 24 January. It's nearly impossible to get hold of a human - it's just FAQs and bots that make you so gatvol that you just end up abandoning the mission. When I finally got a response via email, I got the "you can only cancel the order once it has been shipped from the warehouse" response but it. is. not. shippingggg. GUYS! NEE MAN! The least Takealot can do is to communicate and manage expectations. Radio silence for 6+ weeks is unacceptable. Also, we ordered something from Amazon US last week and it arrived within 4 days.
Don't expect ANY communication regarding the status of your order. I've been waiting for my order since May 2020! No emails get answered. Telephone conversations are just empty promises. I've requested a refund through Bidorbuy a week ago and have had no response from the seller about this. Bidorbuy is being helpful (I'm looped into their comms with Lotsmore) but they are also receiving no responses from this seller. 0/10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Our organization (RecoMed) has probably had 20 different Apple items repaired by MacWave. Their turnaround time, rates, and customer service are all phenomenal. They are always honest and will tell you straight if a fix is only temporary, or not worth the amount it'll cost you. I will always recommend them.
<p>I've been trying to cancel 9 of the 12 products we get billed for SINCE 9 MAY!! I've probably mailed them the same form 20 times (if not more), spoken to numerous agents on Facebook messenger, and each time I get told "It has been escalated. Someone will call you." LIES! Never in my life have I experienced such shocking service. The only communication I'm expecting to get from them is yet another month's bill for products WE DO NOT USE. </p>
