I am livid and I hope im with the right company as this is going to make me even more annoyed if it is not. I app**** for a loan last week and they couldnt offer me a loan due to debt review. The lady offered to have the debt review removed and it would cost 750 end of FEBRUARY and end of MARCH. Yet your company decided to debit now already at the end of January. I can not reverse the debi check and I can not stop it because it is blocked with the provider and the bank cant do nothing about it. I DEMAND THAT DEBI CHECK BE UNBLOCKED. MY MONEY REVERSED AND THE DEBI CHECK STOPPED AS I WILL NOT WORK WITH A COMPANY THAT CANT EVEN KEEP THEIR WORD FROM DAY ONE. I HAVENT EVEN SIGNED ANY DOCUMENTATION FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE DEBT REVIEW YET. NO SERVICE AGREEMENT NOTHING. YOU WILL REFUND ME AND YOU WILL CANCEL ALL FURTHER SERVICE ON MY BEHALF. I EXPECT AN ANSWER TODAY.
I am BEYOND frustrated now. I have been struggling for over 2 weeks now. SORT THIS IMMEDIATELY. I app**** on the 4th of January online. I was approved for r1750, but because my phone and sim were too old I could not reply 1 to the SMS. I have since gotten new number - placed it in a smartphone and spent hours and numerous conversations with so many people. I have chatted on whatapps, gone into the store and called tenacity how many times now and still I can not get the SMS to verify. Here are my bankstatements again, my ID again and the whatsapp chat on how many times I have tried to resolve the matter. I expect and answer TODAY as this is ridiculous. I have tried everything and the "help"is receive is pathetic.
Once again, i have been let down by Capitec. WHY do you even offer a service you can not provide? Like seriously? All you are doing is disappointing customers and forcing us to move to different banks because you can not offer us what you promise. I received a foreign payment on Monday. It is still not cleared in my account. Now note that even the consultant at the bank told me yesterday that it should have cleared by day 3 and this is not usual. I told them to contact forex department and even your WORKERS say it is useless because forex does not answer their phones nor reply to emails. ***? I confirmed with my employer and she said the money cleared their bank on Monday already, but yet forex still can't seem to find the payment. The payment HAS to be in South Africa by now. I DEMAND FURTHER INVESTIGATION INTO THIS IMMEDIATELY
I work for an international company and have always received foreign income. When opening my bank account I had to fill in a form stating exactly that and was promised I would never run into issues releasing my money. Well that is not the case. Every pay day is a struggle just to get my money. Last month we received an email to say we needed to fill in a standing instruction form. I tried for almost 2 weeks to get hold of the forex department to get assistance with the form. Eventually went to the branch to get help. Submitted the form on the 29th of June. I have since sent 14 emails - no response. Numerous phone calls and I get put on hold so long my airtime runs out each time. - No assistance. Now today I get an email saying they can't release my money because there is no instruction form and I need to verify my details etc. Which I did. Still no response from them and no money in my account. I am livid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more than a month of struggling with the form and no help and now I need to struggle even further just to get my money released and they offer no help, no response and no answer. I even laid two complaints about the zero help with the form and all they say is sorry ma'am we have escalated your query. Hopefully now I will get a response and my money released so I can move to another bank because after this I'll never want to deal with capitec again.
Reposting my review again. Would I recommend them? NO! If I could give negative stars I would give a negative thousand. Yet again. Disappointed in the service I received from a South African company. When enquiring butter couldn't melt in the consultant's mouth. She promised the sun, moon stars and galaxy that they will do anything to help us and after asking her a million questions and being assured every time that my concerns are addressed and they will provide me with everything I need. After completing the sign-up, their response time is delayed. That is if I receive any response at all. I was ignored 99% of the time but they are quick to call me because my payment is late. I am still waiting on a response from my sign-up consultant since 8 august. No reply. This is after I applied for a change of debit order MONTHS ago. 12 July to be exact. The date is still not changed. I have asked over the phone and I have emailed them about this as well as sent the documents they requested. I feel like my debt will never be paid off because most of my premium goes toward fees and policies I was forced to take in order to just do the debt review. Then after a lengthy process of signing up and my debt companies still contacting me daily for weeks after signing up, I find out that debt busters aren't even covering half of my debt. Which is something I also spoke and asked about numerous times during the original sign-up phone calls. So I was left with half my debt not covered and insurance policies I did not want. Then when I go research how to cancel, I find out you have to go to court to get a letter from the judge saying you are not indebted anymore and you don't need the service they provide. So now, unless I do that I am stuck with them and the poor service that I have received from them. Not excited about that at all.

Your debt will NEVER get paid off because they charge you and force you to take policies with them which results in only like R50 of your entire payment going towards your debt and the other money ALL goes to them. NEVER and I mean NEVER EVER EVER EVER sign up with this scam of a company. You will never get out. The only way out of this is when you go to court to get a letter to prove you are not indebted anymore.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. My statements are a mess and these idiots keep calling me to say I owe them money on my contract, but my statements say I do not. The sms's say one amount and then 10 days later the amount has basically doubled. I have sent them proof of payments and they have acknowledged them. I have emails proving that they acknowledge the payments and yet they are still harassing me. I have requested full detailed statement and they ignore all my emails. When they call and I request statements they don't send it. I want to know what they hell is going on with my account and why the owing balance keeps changing every couple of days. I also want to know why I am still being charged with unpaid debit orders when they confirmed via email that the payment method has been changed to cash deposit. THIS IS THE WORST CELLULAR SERVICE COMPANY EVERY> NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THEM
The idiots will take you for a ride and you will struggle your ass off to get them to do their jobs. I applied for debt review in February to try to get control of my debts and Shamiegah who was my consultant was very quick and responsive to sign me up and get all my documents but after she signed me up she went silent. I sent her how many messages about creditors still harassing me and no reply. Then after about a month I finally got gatvol and called the company. The lady informed me to just be patient with the creditors and everything will stop soon. I asked about payments etc as the debit order from them was suppose to go off. Something started smelling fishy when the lady at the front desk didn't even know who the consultant was that I was talking about so I made sure their debit order could not go off until I had more info. The very next day I got an email to say my application has been rejected. Ever since the 24th of March I have tried to get the debt review off of my name. They promised that it would be removed because the application had been rejected but here we are 4 months later and it still shows on my credit report as being under debt review. I WANT THE DEBT REVIEW OFF OF MY NAME NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been trying to contact them for weeks now. They don't reply to emails and keep calling at times I am not available to talk to their rude consultants. Since opening an account with them I lost my job and emailed them to make payment arrangements but I have heard nothing. When I do get the chance to answer the calls they make and I try to explain the situation I get told that I have to make payment immediately. Then I get told I am now going to be placed for tracing because of non payment but I've been trying to make an arrangement since beginning March. Can someone please contact me via email as the new job I got does not allow phone calls during the day.
If I could give them minus 5 stars I would. I handed in my cellphone at the Tygervalley branch on the 25th of February to have a screen repaired. I have insurance on the phone with the contract and the contract is 23 months old so none of this should have been a problem. First, the send the phone to cell c repairs and qouted me 2500 to have it repaired. I told the lady no, the phone is under insurance and the insurance must fix it. How much excess. She says R300 and to pay it into the account details they provided. Then, the insurance says they need to review the claim first. I need to fill in forms and send with ID. I did so. 10 times probably already and everytime they say it is incomplete and they need this or that. Every time I add all the additional information I can and yet these people who obviously have no idea what they are doing now need the proof from the cell c store that I have been paying insurance because they can't prove that I have been paying insurance and yet R108 goes onto my account each month for insurance and even after sending them my statements they still require additional info from the shop. A repair that was suppose to take no longer than 3 weeks has now taken 3 weeks of every day emails and calls and they have not even started. The service is pathetic and I would not advise anyone to deal with either of these companies. I have even been asking for a week to just give me the phone back and the money that I have paid for the excess back and they won't even do that. Either they fix the phone immediately or give it back or I will assume they have lost or stolen the phone and money because they are refusing to give it back fixed or not. 2 years of paying this contract and insurance and they can't even provide a basic service like fixing a phone.
