The service at Kauai Virgin Active Auckland Park is absolutely dreadful. Surly staff who look and act is if they’d rather be elsewhere. No frozen yoghurt - the main ingredient of most smoothies. Just an all round unpleasant experience.
Insurance related claim. Took my car in for repairs on 12 Feb as they stipulated. They then informed me that the job would be finished by 20 Feb. Whilst the vehicle was in for the insurance-related repair I asked for some other minor damage to also be repaired. Heard nothing from them. On the 20th I contacted them to find out what time I could collect my car. Turns out they hadn’t even started the job yet. Not the additional repairs nor the insurance repair. Car has been standing at panelbeater for over a week and nothing has being done. It would have been really nice if they could have informed me of what was happening - even nicer if they had just done the work. This is shocking service. I just hope the quality of their work is better than their service.
I had to arrange for insurance on a new motorbike as I had traded my old one in. Chris Bell assisted me. He was very professional, friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that KP offers to call you back so that the time that it takes to verify and capture all the details doesn't come off your cell phone minutes - nice touch!!
I called in to the client care centre to arrange motorcycle insurance. The initial quote was only fractionally cheaper than my existing insurance so I declined the cover. The lady helping me, Sarene Jooste, went out of her way to get my business. She called me back a few minutes later with a new offer - they were not able to reduce the bike premium, but would reduce my vehicle premiums, thus saving me around R400 per month. Serena was very friendly and helpful and I appreciate the effort they go to to keep customers satisfied. She also called me back - so the 20 minutes it takes to verify all the details was not off my cell minutes.
I needed urgent gate electric gate repairs. Found these guys on the internet and submitted a query on their website late afternoon. Later that evening I got a response and the next morning they were at my house. They did an excellent job of repairing and refurbishing my gate. Fast, friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. These guys are great!
I got these guys out two years ago to make and instal a pool cover for me. I was happy with their work. In the meantime I have repaved my pool area and asked them to reinstall the cover i.e install the plastic clips that the cover hooks into - there are 20 of them. They told me it would cost R3000 to do this. The full job last time, including the manufacture of a thick PVC cover came to just over R4000. This is daylight robbery and it's absolutely disgusting! They are clearly not interested in follow-up customer service and are just out to make a quick buck. Avoid this company at all costs.
Waited nearly an hour for 6 waffles and they weren’t that great - definitely not worth the wait.
I ordered a cell phone online on Tuesday. On Wednesday the phone was delivered! This is service! (To put it in context, I ordered liquor online from Makro - to collect - and it took them 2 weeks to get it ready for collection). Keep it up IC - I will purchase from you again ??
I ordered liquor online from Makro Woodmead 1 week ago. My order still isn't ready for collection. I have sent emails using their online portal but have not yet received a reply. I phoned a few times to enquire but could never get through on their number. When I finally did get through I was put on hold for 29 minutes. At that point I gave up. This is shocking service to say the least. They take your money and don't provide you with the things you have bought - no communication and no way to contact them to find out what is happening.
I purchased an item online - after waiting 6 days and seeing no change in the order status, I contacted Makro. After 10 minutes on hold I finally spoke to someone who couldn't give me any answers, but promised to phone me back. She did phone me back and informed me that the item I had bought (and paid for) was out of stock. Apparently there were no more items at any store in the country and nobody could say when there would be stock again. So Makro sold me a product they didn't have, and took my money for it. They didn't bother to contact me to let me know that there was a problem, nor did they have an alternative plan (or any clue as to how long I would have to wait). As the item is available elsewhere, without any waiting period, I cancelled my order. They informed me that I would have to wait up to 7 working days to get my refund. It only took them 30 seconds to take my money (R6200) but I have to wait nearly 2 weeks to get it back!
