It was such a pleasant experience to deal with Shane and his team today. They come to you at your preferred address and offered a really fair price. They were punctual, professional and friendly. They will be my first option should I ever need to sell another car.
Bree was such a pleasant and professional person and quickly solved my problem. After struggling through 5 minutes of IVR navigation she really turned an otherwise frustrating experience into a pleasant one.
My Cell C bill changed from around R150 pm to R324. I have now been told that my "contract" was a promotion which ended (yet I was on a month to month deal?!) Then I mention that I find it quite unethical that they currently offer the exact same service I use for R149 pm, yet they have no issue charging many unsuspecting clients more than double that amount, using this type of reasoning. I asked to be transferred to their retention department but with a mere "sorry you feel that way" the call was ended.!?
Just got of the phone with ADT. It was just confirmed to me that they do not feel that it is necessary for them to tell me that equipment will be removed from the property when I asked about the procedure/process to cancel my contract. They feel that this is complete fine to phone you with this significant bit of info only after you then submitted you cancelation notice. This "equipment" is apparently around 9 years old and they now want to charge me for it?! On top of this they now claim that there should be equipment here which I have never seen!
Cell C more than doubled the monthly debit against my credit-card without any notice or consent. Their only response this far is that my "discount" expired and that there is nothing they are able (willing) to do.
There are reasons for me having to try and contact Game's "online call center" but let's not even go there. The fact is that I have been phoning that number all morning now. It just rings... but if you persist, the "game reception" eventually answers. She then transfers met to "online call center" but after around 7 minutes the line just drops. With the last call reception possibly place my call on hold rather than transfer it because I actually managed to hold on for 22 minutes before the call dropped. Do I just have to high expectations when I feel that if you publish a number it should be answered?
I suppose it is my own fault not canceling the contract a year ago when they did the exact same thing. After the exact same thing a year ago, I am again expected to pay for out of bundle data which should have been possible. it almost seems as if MTN has timer set where they annually ***** you. There is so much wrong here that I do not even know where start.

MTN took over our contract from Altech Autopage recently. In the process they assigned some "usage limit" which allowed the account to go over the bundle which we signed up for. This was not possible at Altech.

I have been trying to resolve this with MTN for weeks now with several formal enquiries logged. Over the weeks I have been asked to send "proof of contract" and had to answer their "security verification questions" many times.

But now MTN is actually asking for me to send a whole lot of sensitive information, including my MTN PIN, in an email.!? I do not consider myself to be paranoid over security but can this be for real?

MTN has all the information they need to act on this issue... invoices, contracts, call-recordings, emails,

yet they find new ways (excuses) to not provide customer-care.

I purchased 2 data deals online from Cell C. I have have however since been charged more than what what I signed up for.

I have been trying to resolve this with Cell C for weeks now.

I have been told that these are "open contracts" and that it would allow the usage to go over up to the "usage limit" selected. This additional data is then charged at "out of bundle" rates.

I seems that most people would be familiar with the concepts of these "open contracts" and "usage limits" but this is new to me and it was never explained to me. Neither can I remember ever being afforded the opportunaty to select the value of this "usage limit".

From what I can see, these out of bundel usage limits are how they manage to lure unsuspecting victims like myself to buy their "hot deals" which end up more expensive than any other.
