Uber deactivated my store Uber App on Thursday 24th October 2024. When i called them they said that a new one was put in place. We asked that they activate the one we had in place and let us trade. Both was now deactivated. They would not refer us to anyone. All we hear is send an email. I have been sending emails since that day. To day Sunday 27th October 2024, my store is offline and not trading on Uber. This morning I called and was told that we can use the new one that was created. I got to the store, tried to log into the new one and again same story, send an email to get the issue resolved as we can help you if you can not log in. The worst part of this whole situation is that we would not be given details of our account manager, left over 20 messages for our account manager and nothing. I suggest all new business owners us MR D as Uber is just a bunch of ****** - no support for the huge fees they charge us. Hopefully i get a call from someone at Uber after this.
Please be careful when dealing with this guy. Please a cold room with a small compressor. We incurred losses and asked him to change it. His response was I will have a look at it. We paid him and he then was told by my husband to come and take this out and replace it with a proper one. He came toon out the compressor even though he was told to wait for us and he left. He has promised to pay us for over a week and a half but now he does not answer calls on all of his numbers.
We bought a gas Bain Marie in May. We tried to use it buy found that it was faulty. There were no feet to this as well. I tried to contact them from May and every time I am told someone will contact me. Yesterday my husband took this to the shop. He got there and was told that this was a factory defect. Monica (The Manager we were told ) and Hawa (working with repairs) both refused to swap this out for a new one. I paid R4995 for a factory defect. They took parts from another machine and fixed the one they gave back to me. The staff are very rude and do not listen to reason.
FNB deducted an amount for a debit order for a personal loan. I called to ask that they stop this debit order as the account was fully paid up and reverse the unpaid item charge. I was told that the debit order will be stopped but they will not pay me back the unpaid debit order fee. I am now 36 minutes on the phone being bounced off one person to another.
My contract was up on 22 Nov. I called in June to cancel or change number to pre-paid and they said I should call on 1 Oct. I called 1 Oct and was told my last bill will be end Nov. I called again early Dec to confirm as it showed on my bill that I am still being charged and I was told that it was cancelled and a credit is being requested. I called again on the 7th Dec only to be told I cancelled in Dec and had to pay for Dec and then got the phone put down on me. I drove to Vodaworld only to be told that they could not help me but they would log a call and I was given a reference number. They also put in a request to the recording. 9th Dec. Call closed. No resolution. I called on the 10th. Lady could not help me. Supervisor will call and nothing has happened. Please note that I place my final cancellation on 1 Oct. Also confirmed by your call center agent that it was received and he has requested a credit for Dec. Please provide me with the recording from Oct and Nov and Dec. Or must I get my legal guys to request this. Now I find out that this was cancelled only on the day I drove to Vodaworld – using this ref number from the day I drove to vodaworld to get this sorted. This is totally unethical and a rip off.
