After applying for a machine rental contract with them in OCTOBER of 2022 - I was blown away with the fact that they actully offered me a machine to borrow whilst I wait for the new one! Just over a week later, the "borrow machine" arrives - very impressive. Machine gets installed, very cool. Until the next day... Machine just spews pages upon pages upon pages of what ever paper or board you've inserted, hell just mess up completely! On average, every file we print to the machine, prints perfect up to a random page where the machine would just loose its mind. Some days the machine even refused to print. All this, while I am on the phone, sending countless emails to their technical team - begging them to sort the matter out or to bring me my new machine (as it has been months already). Nothing. Every single day, I would follow up and get a lie in response: "No, the technician was there, but we were closed." Because of this whole debackle, I was working 7 days a week, struggling with a 15year old XEROX machine, that I can barely keep alive. But we're closed?? Other times I get informed the technician is on his way. This, 5pm on a Friday? I doubt it. But as luck would have it, a moment or so later, he stops infront of our building - only to drive off again soon after. I have not yet had time to unlock my cellphone before his email chimes: "Offices was closed. Sign says they close at 3pm" Good job. You can read! But have you forgotten that you phoned me just past 4 and asked If he can come and look? Aparently not. My main issue is, I was charged, R8000+- for prints THEIR printed messed up. They then had the audacity, to take MY DEPOSIT FOR THE NEW MACHINE (R5000) and pay that towards the "borrow machine's" charges and then cancelled my application. After all this drama? After all the clients I have lost over you lot?? You want to collect your precious machine, yes? I will need a complete refund before this will be allowed. You have until the 15th of April - hereafter I shall consider the matter dealt with and will do what I must with it, to get my money's worth.
Placed order 20:52. Receive SMS saying order will be ready in 15 min. While I'm on my way, I get absolutely shat upon from some "Woman" from Roman's Brackenfell,stating that I am now wasting THEIR time and how the fact that I am forcing them to wait for me is unacceptable. Really?? Why accept the order and tell me to wait 15min if you're about to close AND while you're obviously in such a hurry to get to the shabeen?? I live 2 min drive from the store. She could have phoned me before hand. Will definitely place more orders at this branch - AND THEY WILL WAIT EVERY 👏 SINGLE 👏 TIME 👏
First of all, my account is cancelled without as much as a phone call after being a member my whole life?? Really Discovery?? Now. There is a outstanding amount that needs to be settled before I can rejoin. I get informed by an agent that someone in the creditors department will be in contact with me to make the necessary arrangements. I have been waiting for almost a month. Today I receive the first phone call, only to be told no arrangements available. I just need to make payment. Again, is this Discovery's idea of service to lifelong customers?? Sort it out. TODAY STILL or I am simply going elsewhere. Good luck Discovery.
Second time applying for a contract via they're website. Second time Nothing happens. Shall I take my business elsewhere MTN??
I received an sms stating that my debit card is expiring in 30 days and that I can apply for a new card on either the app or online. NONE of these options have the facility to apply for a new debit card. When phoning the call Centre I get instructed to visit my nearest branch. WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC AND ABSA IS STILL SO BEHIND WITH BASIC TECHNOLOGY THAT IT IS STILL EXPECTED OF ITS CUSTOMERS TO GO AND SPEND A WHOLE DAY JUST TO RENEW A DEBIT CARD! Am I to take my business to FNB rather??
Obvious and ridiculous scam. Trying to trick you into advertising on their website - a website they can't even give you a link to or simply supply the website name!! Stupid. Tip to scammers: Do not hire incompetent people to make your phone calls. They cant even speak/understand English. Thanks for the good laugh! ☺
Placed order online. Order was supposed to be ready for collection almost a week ago. Now whenever I phone the customer care line, I simply get cut off. When sending an email, I get told "your order will probably be ready for collection today" Can someone at Mr Price explain to me what's going on??
Absolute **** website. Been trying to view my latest invoices - no success. Can't log in. used Forgot Password feature - does not work. ****ing cancel my contract - I'm done.
No feedback on my order. I'ts been more than 10 working days. Everytime I phone, I get told delivery is on its way. How long still?????
