Romans Pizza
Based on recent customer reviews, Romans Pizza faces severe and systemic challenges across virtually every dimension of the customer experience. Customers consistently report excessive delivery wait times, incorrect orders, rude and dismissive staff, food that arrives cold, burnt, or undercooked, and serious hygiene concerns including foreign objects and expired ingredients. While a small number of loyal customers praise specific staff members and value the brand's affordability, the overwhelming pattern is one of deep dissatisfaction.

i placed an order at 17:00 and we waited for more than an hour and no delivery. i phoned Roman's Pizza Vanderbijlpark to find out what is going on, only to be told that they have only one driver. it is almost 19:00 now and the driver is only on the way now. why do you accept delivery orders if the driver is not available? when i complained to the staff about this they did absolutely nothing to try and salvage the situation. absolutely horrible customer service

Roman’s Pizza at Chrishani Vosloorus sell burned pizza and very thin base. Their pizza is not appealing at all but if you can go at Alberton or outside Vosloorus you’ll get the most perfect and delicious pizza. I have photos and my recipes. I’m really not happy with Vosloorus branch.

THULLY who works at ROMANS PIZZA AMAJUBA MALL in NEWCASTLE gave terrible service when she jumped TWO customers who walked in first, one after the other (an Afrikaans man & a black lady) to go help a black MAN who walked in THIRD! They were chatting & sharing laughs, while he flashed money in her face, and said she should spoil herself & buy airtime. When the black lady vocalized that she and the Afrikaans man had walked in before the black man, Thully gave her attitude but proceeded to take her order. Long story short, when the black lady returned 20min later to collect her order, Thully had purposely not put it through to the kitchen for preparation! Instead of apologising for this inconvenience, she instead sent her manager to come explain the 'mistake' and offered to get the order started right away. The black lady was annoyed at this & instead requested a refund. It is BAD FOR BUSINESS to hire female staff that prioritize attention from MALE customers rather than service excellence! Thully turned the interaction with the lady customer personal rather than remain proffessional. Thully should not work in a customer service environment if she will bring personal agendas to work. She should have furthered her studies and not focused on men if she did not want to find herself serving food to the general public!

The time period you wait is terrible. You are expected to call in before getting to the store to get your order done quicker but when you do so, you still get to the store and wait almost 2 hours. I was told that my order will be ready in 15-25 minutes when ordering and i got to the store and when i queried, i was told that i have to Wait and they dont have anything they can do and that my order doesn’t matter wether i ordered over the phone or online but i will wait just as long as if i was ordering in store as there is no special treatment.

Very disappointing service at Roman’s Pizza Richards Bay Town Square. An employee named Nomusa Dlamuka ignored me while I was waiting and, when she finally assisted, she was loud and dismissive. She would not let me show her the menu item I wanted and could not explain the special I asked about. The interaction felt unprofessional and customer service at this branch needs improvement.

Based on recent customer reviews, this business delivers a consistently strong customer experience anchored by outstanding agent quality and rapid communication. Customers frequently name individual consultants and praise their friendliness, patience, and professionalism. Recurring praise is given to claims and roadside assistance, though a vocal minority report frustrating delays, rejected claims, and poor transparency around premium increases.
This business's biggest strength, according to Hellopeter's AI analysis, is Agent Quality & Customer Care. Named consultants are praised repeatedly for patience, friendliness, and going above and beyond. Words like 'amazing,' 'star,' and 'gem' appear frequently, reflecting genuinely caring human interactions.
The most common complaint, based on Hellopeter's AI analysis of recent customer reviews, is Pricing, Premiums & Transparency. Customers appreciate premium reductions upon request but complain about unexplained annual increases, hidden excess charges, and debits continuing after cancellation. Transparency at policy inception is a recurring gap.
