I have been trying to cancel the subscription with this company as I think I subscribed by mistake when I was looking for flight in January. They keep debiting my account every week. I tried calling the call centre to cancel but clearly they are still trying to debit my account every week. Just need to warn people not to subscribe to this company. They will take your money every week. I know R229 or so its not a lot of money to many but to me, it's a lot of money. I even had to move to a different bank so that they dont find anything in my account as they try debit every week. The beginning of March they debit R229 from my account and ever since, they want to debit every week. I want to cancel and their web page is not helpful. Just a waste of time.
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unresolved ATM deposit incident that occurred on 5 October 2025, between 10:40 and 10:50am at your Capitec Karaglen Mall branch. On that day, I attempted to make a cash deposit to another account using the ATM. I entered all the required details for the recipient, but when I reached the confirmation screen, the ATM suddenly displayed an “Out of Order” message before I could confirm the transaction. The machine did not return the cash deposit (a few thousand rand) that I had already inserted. I immediately suspected a possible fault or **** attempt and could not retrieve the funds despite retrying the deposit function. I contacted the Capitec *****/Incident Call Centre immediately to report the issue and was advised that feedback would be provided within 48 hours. However, as of 7 October, I have not received any resolution or update on the matter. The intended recipient of the funds is in urgent need of the money, and this delay has caused significant inconvenience. I kindly request that this matter be investigated and resolved as a matter of urgency, and that I be kept informed of progress and timelines.
I would like to share my disappointment with the call centre service. I phoned to place an order for collection at Debonairs Karaglen. The first agent told me that my order could not be placed as their system was down. She said she will give me a call within 5 minutes to place the order. I waited 30 minutes with no call. I then made another call to the call centre to make the order again. My order was taken and the agent said it would be ready in 15 minutes. My husband went to collect and when he got there, they told him there was no order placed. He had to wait again for the order. This service is really disgusting. I mean I wasted my time and airtime for nothing to be done even though it was confirmed on the phone. It's really disappointing.
This company is busy debiting my account every month. When you try and call them, their lines are not being answered. The phone just rings. Worse part is, I cannot stop the debit order through my bank even though I paid them what I need to pay. I have been calling with no luck. THIS IS NOT ON!!!
Good morning. It's disappointing and utterly absurd that, Multi choice can add things to my account without me requesting for them to be added. This is total day light ***** what you are doing and no- wonder people are cancelling their accounts because of such. DSTV added Disney Plus subscription to my account without my knowledge or request. How ridiculous is this!!! I want this removed from my account IMMEDIATELY or else I will take it further with NCC or Consumer Act of South Africa. And I want my refunds for the extra payments I've made for this ******* in previous months. You people are taking people for a ride. What is this!!!!
I am shocked. Marlein Grobler phoned me today to say that I qualify for a loan and I should pay R650. And then she follows up after an hour to check if you have made payment. After the second call, I became suspicious and went to google reviews about this company. I am shocked to say the least. Luckily, i researched before paying them! Its really disappointing that they **** people. I mean why would one pay a fee before securing a loan. It's sounded fishy from the call when they mentioned an upfront fee. Disgusted at what people do to people who are really in need in these trying times.
Zain Ryklief received my forms and still nothing has been processed. What kind of service is this? I resigned in April. It's the 19 May and I still have to call Old mutual for my claim to be processed. It's my time and airtime I am waisting for someone who gets paid to do this to not take customers seriously. This is really disappointing. I will never recommend Old mutual to anyone as the service is degusting.
I am highly disappointed by the service Old Mutual has given me. I left my employer end of April. To date I keep following up with my administrator at my previous employer for forms to payout my retirement savings. I am always getting a response to say " she's waiting on Zain from old mutual to send her the forms. Every week is a different story. I question myself that what if i had a funeral claim to make and would have waited for the forms this long. Surprisingly, I received 2 messages from Old mutual to say that I need to make a claim for my retirement funds. I will not recommend Old mutual to anyone if this the service customers receive.
I have been calling Debt Buster from last week Thursday 13 April 2023 till today 20 April 2023 to speak to the financial adviser re change banking details. I always get told he will call me back or they put me through to the accounts department that never answer the phone and one ends up holding for about 10 minutes with no assistance. The service is really poor. And the amount on my statement are duplicated, I don't understand what is really going on. Or rather maybe get help from another company.
I would like to raise concerned and I am a bit worried at the safety BOLT drivers give us women. I have a couple of times where I had to cancel a ride even though it specifies on my payment section that I will pay using card. I can count about three time where a driver would send me a message saying: please give me cash or that when I pick you up can we go to the ATM and withdraw the money. I mean what's scary is that what if I get robbed or worst-case scenario have people at the ATM waiting for me to get robber or mugged. Another instance is when a driver lies and says they've arrived at the pickup point where else I can see on the APP that he is nowhere near me. And when you call them, they give stupid explanation but and I get charged extra because he already confirmed that he has arrived only to arrive 5 minutes later. I am really not happy with BOLT. The service is getting worse by the day. I am even thinking of going back to Uber.
