Bought a Defy - C450 fridge/Freezer from Takealot, but then the fridge (top) part stopped working after about 3years. Just before the warranty would have ended. We reach out to Defy and got the fridge replaced under warranty with a newer model. After 3months and lots of rotten food we reported it as faulty and it was determined the fridge (top part) was not working like it should. We then got another replacement which when we turned it on after more than 5hours after letting it stand to rest, was making a horrible sound coming from the compressor I assume. Reported it again and left the fridge off for few minutes. After that, turned it back on and it seemed fine, but then after about 3 days we noticed our electricity units are going "missing". Turns out this 3rd fridge does not work either and the compressor runs 24/7. Bottom part (freezer) does not work like it should either.. Reported this again... still waiting for a manager to contact us and make arrangements to either replace with another (better/working) model or to refund us! Do NOT, EVER, rely on Defy! Never!!! Person responsible here for the pathetic service, the endless "going nowhere communication", ongoing fridge replacements with more faulty (already been tested) fridges, is mostly Basil de Klerk. The manager who never phone is Christopher. <- You are a ***ard and not a manager!

No more support at all? Prices keep on increasing? How does that math work? I've logged calls on my control panel - No replies (After a few days the ticket gets removed) I cannot phone in because there is never any answer! Prices keep on increasing and as a reseller I have no benefits, no... it's cost me more actually! Web Africa sucks and I am moving away ASAP! I predict that WA will be gone in a year or two. Useless is the nice word.
July 2014 I bought a Samsung 51" Plasma TV from Makro (Cape Gate). I also bought an extended warranty which expires 13/07/2019 as per the policy I received. A few weeks ago I started to notice dead pixels on my TV and now it got to a point where there are about 3 rows on the left side which is dead. (Clearly visible to the eye). I phoned Makro's extended warranty departed and logged a warranty repair request. Almost a week went by without any response to my claim. I phoned in again start of this week and the lady said that someone will contact me the next day. SO they did phone me back.. but i was told my extended warranty has expired??? I HAVE PROOF THAT IT HAS NOT!! Makro? Is this the way you treat customers?
I have been a reseller with WA for almost 6years now. I have never received any discounts or reseller benefits! Never! Now that i am getting more and more clients to get fibre data via WA, I am told that i will no longer receive a free router because I am a reseller and I receive other benefits... where? When? How???? Service has gone down the drain! Useless company and people working there! Even after phoning in and asking very nicely that a senior person or manager phones me back so we can discusss the whole idea of the so called "benefits" I am receiving... i have not heard a word from anyone. It's been weeks already. Now... Vumatel is having problems with load shedding and fibre working after power has been restored. More than 50% of each day I have no internet at all!! WA says it's not their problem and Vumatel is responsible. Okay.. all good, yes they provide the line, but why should i then pay for the service i am not receiving?? I AM GATVOL!!! Vumatel sucks and so does WA!!! Useless useless useless!!!!
I am a reseller with Web Africa, always bringing in new clients. All of a sudden I am no longer eligible to receive a free router with my fibre orders even though it is advertised like this. To me this is false advertising and I won't leave it there!

Totally useless. I will have to get a new contract now and I can asure you it won't be through vodacom. After so many years of being a loyal client. So disappointed!</p>
