If I had my way I wouldn't even give them 1 star... I booked for 2 units at Afriski for a 4 and a 6 sleeper on the 03/05/2024. R8 986.10 for the 4 sleeper and R16 542.60 for the 6 sleeper. I was sent confirmation and booking confirmation. I paid 50% of each unit and everything was fine(R 4 493.05 and R8271.30) making the balance R12 764035.... A few days before we were due to travel they sent the links for payment. I just paid without checking.. I paid the R12 764.35(correct amount due) and mistakenly paid R4 493.05 as well... We ended up not even going there(family emergency)... For that I am not even asking for a refund... I am asking a refund for the extra R4 493.05 that I overpaid.. Now all of a sudden I am told that no I actually I booked for an 8 sleeper... There's nowhere in my communication nor paperwork where it is showing me having booked an 8 sleeper. So I am not sure where Tumelo is getting the 8 sleeper all of a sudden. I have sent emails upon emails and proof of all of this.. At this point I will never go to Afriski. Last year in 2023 I went to a place called Oxbow.. I wish I had just booked with them again as they were soooo friendly and have a cosy and cheap accommodation.. Afriski is a big NO NO for me .
I took up membership with Premier Private Resort. Worst decision of my life.. Membership number 1257173. They kept on messing up my account for an amount of R170.00 which I didn't even owe. As a result I was listed at the credit bureau. I then took a decision to cancel my membership and spoke to Prabashni who was very helpful. I was told that in order to cancel I needed to pay R13 285.19 which I paid in full at then end of 2022 and was told cancellation period take place between Jan to July so only in 2023 will the cancellation take effect. I had no issued with that. January 2023 I sent an emai; reminding them of the cancellation. I was told that they have sent to the relevant department. Fast-forward to January 2024 I get send statement stating that I owe R11 306.00 and the R170.00 that led me to cancel with them is still showing... They even have the audacity to hand over my account. I have an implacable credit history and their mess up has really frustrated me. When I call to ask why my membership is still on I am not given an answer. Instead I was told about the benefits that I still do have on the membership. NOTHING WILL MAKE ME REINTATE MY MEMBERSHIP WITH PREMIER PRIVATE RESORT. They are the worst people I have ever had to deal with.
I have previously ordered from them twice before. Delivery took long but it was the ETA that they said. I did get my orders eventually. I ordered again now a book and the ETA is 25-30 days. It's been 52 days and nothing. I have made several calls to no avail
I have never in my life seen incompetence. I have been trying for 3 days now to have someone at Mix Telamatics Africa to assist with a truck tracker unit installation. They have a phone number 011 654 8000 which rings endless. When finally somebody answers they put you though pillar to post. At this stage if I didn't have a contract with them I would have cancelled. The only person who was able to assist me is Jarryd Smulders. I just happen to have kept his number in my emails
Order 41682709.. My order was confirmed on the 20th of May and my delivery was between 27-09 June... I am still waiting for my order and the stupid tracking number that they have doesn't even work. Whenever I try to communicate with them I always get an automated response this message: "The shipment is handed over in bulk final acceptance of the item to be confirmed". Yesterday I sent a review on trustpilot and all of a sudden they send an email asking me to send my physical address.. I don't understand how they can ask me that when I gave my address upon ordering.. I was told to reply to enquiroes@fruugo.com. My emails are coming back undelivered.. I WILL NEVER EVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE BUY FROM THEM. THEY NEED TO BE REMOVE FROM BEING ONLINE SUPPLIERS.. THEY ARE USELESS
At this point I don't even have the energy to relate the appalling service I have received from Afrihost... Normally I would write a full review. But I really am deflated.. I applying of a fibre line on the 31 Jan 2022... The money was taken out of my account 2 days later.. But 17 days and million of phone calls later I still don't have my line.. I never get called back for an update and every time I call them I am told that it is Vumatel that they are waiting for.. Useless Vumatel doesn't have a call centre where you can call to find out what is happening.. I don't know how may times I have been told that my matter is been escalated... I am sure my matter is in the heaven at the moment, the number of times it's been escalated.... When I wanted to cancel I was told that it will take 10 working days to get my refund... So in a nutshell I am stuck with them at I don't have another R5400.00 to pay elsewhere while waiting for them to sort out their nonsense
I claimed for a cracked windscreen via my insurance with PG Glass... It took them 2 weeks to replace my windscreen after I had made several phone calls and driven to their premises 3 times... When I logged the claim I was sent a claim number via sms... But then after that, they decided to lose my number or whatever, because they didn't have the correct number when I called them to make a follow up.. The first call I made to them they read out the number they had and was my husbands, and the other one I don't even know... And the car on claim was Toyota Hilux when my car is a Jeep... Fast forward to a few days later I called them again and I was told that my matter was escalated.. I refused to hang up until talking to someone in their complaints department.. I spoke to Naledi who was very helpful and also updated my details to the correct ones.. I waited and waited for the Edenvale branch to call me and they never did.. I then drove to them to ask what is going on.. Again I was told that they were trying to get hold of me but couldn't.. Anyway I was given an appointment for Thursday 10th . I was told to bring my car anytime as long as it is not before 15h00.. I went there I think around 13h00-14h00 and I was told that they are short staffed, and they will come to my house on Friday the following day to fit... On Friday AGAIN they don't call me, they call my husband and they tell him that the windscreen broke while loading it on their bakkie to come to me... And then they didn't even tell him when they are going to reschedule it to.. Later on I took it upon myself to drive to them AGAIN... When I got there I was told that actually the new windscreen just got delivered and they can fit it.... They didn't even call me for a re-reschedule but they have the audacity to tell me that "OH ACTUALLY YOUR WINDSCREEN JUST ARRIVED"... I then set an appointment for Monday because I was going somewhere on Friday when I decided to go to them.. They arrived on Monday only to find out that the excess amount is not the same as what I was told.. I was told on the phone that it is R500.00 but their guys had paperwork that said R865.88.. Trying to resolve that was just another drama in itself... At this point I had, had enough on them and just let the guy fit and pay.. I WILL NEVER EVER USE PG GLASS EDENVALE IN MY LIFE
I placed and paid my first order just fine... The order amount was R1359, and I paid Buffalo R121 thereabout.. Everything went well I must say.. I received the order in time and in good condition.. I then placed another one on the 30th Oct.. Up to now I still haven't received my order.. When I called Aramex I was told that my order is been held and Customs and normally it takes about a week to be cleared... Up to now I have received my order.. The other peculiar thing is the first order was R1359 I paid R121 shipping costs.. Now this time my order is R3651 and shipping cost are R1000.00.. How exactly do they calculate the costs... Also on their page is says spend R2960, and be eligible for free shipping cost... So now how am I paying R1000.00 when I spent R3561.. Or maybe I am ready it wrong... I am seriously not happy with Shein at the moment.. To think I wanted to buy Christmas things from them... Maybe I was only going to get them in April awaiting customs clearance
I placed and paid for my order on the 25/07, up to now I haven't received it...I made several phone calls and no response... I finally sent them an email on the 12/07 and a guy called Sello responded to me on the 13th stating that I will have my tracking number within that week... It's been 13 days and no response... On the 19th I sent another email, and tried calling them again.. Mr Sello the liar actually responded... Told me a lot of nonsense about their supplier being unable to deliver because of the unrest... I mean really I placed my order 25th of June and the unrest happened way past after my delivery ETA... After talking to me on the phone he sent an email on the 20th assuring me that I will have my tracking number within a week.... Up to now I still don't have my order... No tracking number... And their phones are just ringing as usual...They should call themselves UNREALIABLE store.. The service is appalling to the core and I will definitely NEVER buy from them again..
I have never experienced any delay. They always deliver the right items and at exactly the time frame they stipulated.
