On 18 February 2025 I ordered parts, till today 7 March 2025 I have not received any parts, tried calling but the phone gets dropped every time, very bad service from Turfmaster online, I would recommend no one to buy parts from them online, its a nightmare
I don't know why I have insurance, every time I want to claim the acces is R2500 and then I must buy or fix it myself. Now my aircon broke and you don't get parts for it, and was recommended by the technician to be replaced as the parts is obsolete. According to the technician normally when the parts are obsolete the insurance will pay out for the unit, but not at Santam, they want to blame it on normal wear and tear, I think its time for to move to an Insurer that pays out and don't have excuses not to pay out claims
They just decided to freeze my account without any notice, when I phoned in on the 1st of November, they told me that they need proof that my property is insured, why I don't know as I am fully paid up on my bond and the house belongs to me, not to them., but in any case I have done that and send them the proof they wanted, and still now I cant access any of my funds in my flexi reserve account. Today I went in to the Branch thinking they would get this sorted out, NO, they cant help me I must call in, waited for half an hour on the line to get it answered, and just get told that I will receive a email, worst service ever and still I cant get to my funds
My son is currently working in De Aar on contract installing wind turbines, signal is very poor were they are working and that is why I must complain on his behalf, his bakkie is giving him problems and he contacted Ford in Graaff-Reinet as they are the closest Ford dealer to where he is working. A month has passed and Deidre De Wet the service advisor just keeps on saying they don't have a courtesy car to give to him and take his bakkie in for repairs, a month later and she says she can't give me any indication on when they will have one available, this is absolute poor service, Ford takes your money and money for extended warranties' but the bakkie is standing for over a month with no resolution to this problem, shocking poor service
ABSA just blocked my flexi reserve on my home loan account without any warning, phoned them this mornings and they advised me it's because of fica documents they now need, they never send me a mail or phoned me, just block the account. I have send them all the documents and still I cant access my funds in my account, I have made at least 5 calls with no success just empty promises
So it is clear that GoBid has found a way to get past the law by you accepting the terms and conditions, you are accepting to buy a motor as savaged, I bought a MFC repossessed vehicle and there was nothing noted about a gearbox problem, I am from Cape Town and took a plane to Durban to fetch the vehicle, while driving back I had problems and stood along the road, when I looked in the clove box I found a Report by MFC that the gearbox guts out, and nothing was noted by them when they sold the vehicle, the can try to hide behind 'motor salvage' but I wont leave it there, ********* why of selling cars, and I will also write to MFC regarding this way BoBid is selling their cars
My son bought a Ford Ranger bakkie on finance at a dealership and insured the bakkie at King Price, this was about 2 weeks back, this monrning a taxi drove him of the road 30/10/2023, he called King Price and they said they are sending a truck to collect the bakkie and everything seemed fine, then he got a call from the driver that was on his way to pick up the bakkie that King Price has cancelled the *** up. NOW King price is trying not no pay for damages as they are talking about a R300 and something rand that they tried to debit but they where unsuccessful, but there was money in his account and he even send them bank statements to proof that funds were available, NO DEALER OR BANK will let a vehicle leave their premisses without insurance, but now King Price is looking for a way not to pay
I was supp**** the wrong wheel bearing, its the front wheel bearing of an Opel Vivaro and took the hub and new bearing in to a place to be pressed out and the new one in, after they gave the hub with new bearing back to me I saw the bearing is loose, took the hub to Goldwagen Brackenfell and told them I was supp**** the wrong bearing, then they told to they cant refund me because the bearing was pressed allready and the people should have checked before pressing the bearing, THEY DO PRESS WORK AND ARE NOT MECHANICS, they assume the bearing supp**** is the right one, then they said if I can get the bearing out without damage they will refund me, they got it of with only 2 little minor scathes and then the rude manager there said no we cont refund you, the people that pressed it souldve checked the bearing, and my response is they should check and supply the right parts, I will never support GOLDWAGEN again after this experience and will also be contacting the onbudsman
Be very careful of buying a car from them, they put the wrong discription on the cars and then after the sale they hide behind their terms and conditions
I recently purchased a reposession car from Standard Bank on a Aucor Santon auction (26 June 2023) The car discription was 2013 Kia Sportage 2.0 GDi M/T with 101771kms on it. When receiving the car there were a lot of problems on it that the Aucion house did not mention, ie,clucth needed replacement, electric windows did not work, one back door could not open from the inside, battery was dead. I then proceeded to fix everything and the clucth took a long time becuase the mechanic could not get the right clucth for the car, he told me that all the clucthes that he buys are diffrend than the one that came out of the car, then after weeks we found out that this car is not a 2.0 GDi but infact a 1.6GDi He then purchased some Hyundai clutch that sort of matched and installed it After everything on the car was fixed and I wanted to sell the car to my surprise I found out that Kia never sold a 1.6 in South Africa and this car is an import car. I have spend over R20 000 on this car and now no one wants to buy it because its an import. How this car was financed by Standard Bank to be on a repossed Auction is the main qeustion, becuase a import car cant be financed and that is also the reason no one wants to buy this car from me, The car purchase price and what I spent is R127 000 and the highest offer was R120 000 and I was willing to sell and count my loses, buy then becuase of the import states they did not want the car. I dont have money to buy cars and to this on my credit card wich I also have to pay interist on. I have reported this to Aucor and told them about the ugentcy about getting this sorted as that cars money has to get payed back into my credit card, they just keep saying I must be pasient becuase the bank (Standard Bank) must come back to them. Well Standard Bank should pull up their socks and stard sorting out this matter, URGENTLY
