Gobid purposely missleads with year models. They have a ****** and recovered boat hull with no trailer or motor that they claim is 2025 model worth R300k. Those boats were not built past 2006. I emailed head office twice about it last week and eventually they respond they wil look into it. I tell them to look at the tag at the back of the boat which they dont show on website but i know they have a pic of it on their system that will show the boats year model with the year being the last 2 degits which in this case is 06. They don't bother. They dont respond to the numerous emails i sent after that. I have now got a pic of the boats model and it is a 2006 model...thats a 20 year difference in the year model thats a big difference in value. Maybe it had a new trailer built in 2025 but that doesn't make the boat hull 2025 so why misslead the public that has to trust them if a legit honest company why not follow up and rectify the error? The auction is now on today and everyone else will be bidding thinking its a 2025 model..good news for gobid i guess that can hide behind terms and conditions and even tho this was brought to their attention. They are so you sneaky they even now blocked me on their facebook page cause i commented the truth! And commented about an outboard motor that had expensive parts ****** from it from their PE yard that they didn't want to update pics till the day befor the auction when i had to call them 20 times and make noise about it they wanted someone to recieve a surprise me after they buy it. My next step is to get hold of outsurance ***** department cause obviously that customer was paid out for a 2025 model R300k instead of maybe 50k for a 20 year old boat!

At first I was reluctant but to my surprise, the company is legit and the service was out of this world. The purchase was seamless with no hidden costs and the collection of the vehicle was hassle free. I was happy and would recommend to other buyers.

A 2023 Mazda CX-60 2.5L Dynamic A/T was listed for auction without the owner’s consent or authorization. PPS has not approved any sale or listing of this vehicle. A theft case is being filed, and the legal team has been notified. The platform has been requested to remove the listing immediately. Buyers should be cautious and verify ownership before engaging with listings on this platform.

Very much heartbroken and disappointed, bought a vehicle which I did not take home with me because of the poor state it was in, rat **** and all, and advised the staff I was no longer interested they said they can only do a buy back as I had paid already and they are offering me 40 % of what I paid when I didn’t even move the car an inch which is still in their premises, why am I being ripped of 62 & of what I paid? I need someone to urgently intervene here

My CST NO is 471949. MY name Simon Mokgope Gobid does not want to give my money back R32000 Their whatsapp is useless when you call customer care you can wait 10 minutes with no answer I have already spent more than R500 on airtime trying to resolve a simple issue whereby they described a car as swift sport 1.6 only to find its an alto 1.0 I regret doing business with Gobid fast to take your money slow to resolve their mistakes poor communication I would not advise anyone to do business with this company

day Ever since I have paid I have been money moved to pillar to post just to cancel my sales orders and on your website it’s says you take 10% to the max of my deposit so meaning I will lose R10 000 because there are two vehicles. I have been trying to block this sale since Friday. I Do Not wish to continue with my sales orders as I mentioned on Friday. I repeat do not release those cars. Because I want my money back and I will no longer continue with go bid because the service I have been getting is beyond disgusting. I have recorded phone calls and emails stating how I wanted this to be cancelled and how I was threatened by your sales agents. And if they are not cancelled and the rest of my money is not refunded, I will contact the ombudsman because I have proof. I will also call Monday morning to ensure that it is cancelled. In the add you said the car is a starter but the car doesn’t even have a battery inside and there are things that are falling apart that were in the pictures: Now my calls and emails are being ignored because your sales are refusing to cancel ny sales orders and forcing me to take the car. They said I would forfeit my deposit and I said but cancel the sales orders then refund the rest of my money and I am being ignored I don’t want your cars. You can block my account after this I don’t care I just want my money back

My name is Simon Mokgope I bid on a car advertised as a Suzuki swift sport 1.6 2010 model on Thursday the 19th of Feb upon collection on Monday the 23rd I was presented with a Suzuki Alto 1.0 my receipts show I paid for a Suzuki swift sport 1.6 2010. I then raised the issue with the Pretoria branch manager who seemed not interested He just told me this things happened and that I must take it up with head office I refused to take position of the car and immediately filled and signed the discrepancy section of the release form as this amounts material misrepresentation under section 41 of the CPA and not a matter of voetstoots I have already send e mails to head office and made numerous calls to head office they promised to come back to me within two days note that calls take 2minutes before being answered. Im worried they might start charging me for storage fees for a car I did not order this is already affecting me negatively as a paying customer I expected more from this company that prides itself with words like bid today drive tommorow. If this is resolved fairly I promise to come and give feedback if not I will also come back to share Cause I feel like I bought horse and got a donkey.Though both cars are from my favourite brand Suzuki. swift sport is a significantly more valuable than an Alto and forcing me to keep the Alto will onstitute unfair enrichment on their part. Now I'm just hoping for the best but also prepared for the worst
