I placed an order on the 25th of February 2026 according to their website the verification takes 48 hours this however was not the case. I eventually cancelled the order after 5 days that I still couldn't get it verified and not for a lack of documentation or even trying to get hold of them at all. Order was cancelled and now its a struggle getting hold of them for my refund its like no one is working there, just got a response a day ago that its being included in their backlog in the meanwhile they are earning interest on that money of the consumers that they are not paying back. Pathetic service if I have ever seen it
I recently moved into a new house and its a developing area, and let me tell you there is no signal in the area surely Vodacom should be looking into new developing areas and make sure that their infrastructure is available, and then they pride themselves on being the best network. you got to be joking
I moved house and a new order was placed on the 27th of May 2024 I got a reference number, the call came for the installation appointment, I could however not answer as I was in a meeting with a client, I called back the very same day after a rather amusing email stating they attempted to call me numerous times (1 call that numerous attempts). I got told they would call be back to schedule the appointment. Monday no call back I called yet again Tuesday and was promised they would call me back, again no phone call, Wednesday was the public holiday, Thursday I called no less that 4 times each time being told its being escalated and that they would call me eventually after 4 days of no luck of anyone calling back, I got called Friday morning, scheduling the appointment for Tuesday I made arrangement to be at home for the installation at 11:32am Tuesday I get a voice message stating they were not going to make it as they weather is not favorable, I almost exploded and said I am sorry but it will happen on Tuesday they eventually pitched and did the installation in the house bare in mind this is a new development, they couldn't find the connection point and said VUMA will come assist in sorting it out I called Wednesday was told it was only logged that morning eventually someone rocked up looked around was in the house didn't inform anyone at home what they next step is and left, I again called Thursday and was told to wait for an update on the system called again after 5 and was told its back with maintenance and they would come resolve it , called again friday at 12 as no one had been to the house again it was escalated and I asked to be contacted by 2mp called again at2:30pm as no one had gotten back to me and was told to wait till end of business today and then maybe it will be resolved tomorrow 10 days of endless phone calls arrogant call Centre agents and I am still no closer to getting the installation activated, pathetic service if I have ever seen it. I would not advise anyone to go with this service provider as they are utterly useless.
<p>I upgraded the 23rd of May 2016 and can I just say what a desaster from the begining, firstly I got the phone 5 days later after the website states if it is orde before 12 it will be delivered the next day to this I got a response oh we have a new system and it cannot be done till all the kinks are sorted with the system. the upgrade I selected was with a once off 10gigs of data and a speaker and a edcuational voucher I waited till the firest for the new deal to kick into place and to my surprise no data I called two days in a row each call taking about 20 to 40 mins and no one can assit me as to why the data was not given to me. I am fedup with the service and I am being send all over so now I will make use of this tool maybe I get the correct person to call me and get this sorted. </p>
I order quite a big I placed at 11:28 this morning it is now 13:34 and no delivery I mean really the shop is 1.5km away from me so for me to wait for more than two hours is not acceptable at all I could have walked there and be back again already
I placed an order on the website through online shopping on Monday the 7th of December 2015, I selected the Shop express option which states delivery in 2/3 days which is what I needed as I ordered a gift for a secret Santa that we having at work the 11th Of December, so according to me the delivery should have been done to the store on Thursday so I can just go and pick it up, but to my surprise when I called Thursday I was told that there was a delay with the order and that it would maybe arrive on Friday but they cannot tell me when on Friday upon explaining the situation and why I needed it I was told that oh they cant do anything about it I can cancel the order, this was unacceptable to me as I have paid for a service that I am not getting. Then I got disconnected twice this to me is a load of bullsh*t I will never buy from them again ever.
I have had 3 experiences with Steers now on 3 different occasion where things just didn't go well the first was in steers ladismith where I order a combo and I asked for no garnish and no mustard on the burger I heard the cashier telling the people probably 5 times no garnish the burger arrived with garnish I then took it back and it came back still with tomato, the 2nd was Steers Golden Acre I bought a combo but wanted a shake I paid full combo price and still paid extra for the shake I mean if that is the case I might have well taken my cold drink and got the shake extra the 3rd was steers Claremont I order through Mr delivery instructions again no garnish and mustard burger arrived with both so I do not know am I not speaking English or what seems to be the problem
