I purchased a Shua A5 treadmill, salesperson was great to engage with but I was first promised that it would be delivered on the 28th of October (2025), then the delivery date was changed to the 13th of November. The date was changed again to the 26th of November - more than a month from when I purchased it. I now literally have to cross my fingers to ensure that I actually get it on that date. When following up, I was informed that the delay was caused by a public holiday in China, which shouldn't be the case because they should have planned around that holiday. I now have to pray that the product gets delivered. Just writing this to warn others who are thinking of buying from them - just know that it is possible that your product might be severely delayed. I was informed that I was given an 'ETA'.
This was a clean ****, no doubt about it. It has the hallmarks of a perfect well thought out ****. I came across Nkosi Cape Town on social media (red flag 1), they have absolutely beautiful images of beautiful clothes. Their website is perfectly and professionally set up. What I received is definitely not what I ordered, differnt design, very cheap light fabric, poorly stitched, the packaging dirty. Packaging written in Chinese, indicating that it is not manufactured in Cape Town. They have no email or phone number, they can only be contacted via their website (red flag 2).Warning, word to the wise: Don't order anything from them.
It was great! I was stuck by the side of the road and urgently needed to be towed, the agent calmly linked me with a tow truck driver and also enabled me to quickly send a geo location.
I have been trying to do an upgrade with MTN for close to 2 weeks with no success. I was told that there is a problem with the vetting system, then when that was resolved, I was told that due to the fact that I have been on a month to month contract for a long time, MTN needs to investigate why I now want a contract, which sounds absurd. I have submitted all the documents needed and frankly feel highly disappointed as I have been an MTN client for close to 30 years.
I have had the most horrible experience dealing with Metrofibre, from the time I first placed my order for them to install fibre at my place. Even now, I'm going through the same experience, I app**** for what they call a 'change of address' which is what you do when you relocate. I did this on the 25th June and today its the 5th of July and I still do not have internet connectivity. Everytime I call them there is a different story. With all honesty, I wouldn't recommend them.
Eight days ago we submitted our application for a connection and since then we have been facing delay upon delay in getting any progress. The delay was caused by the fact that the person assisting us (Valencia Samuels) was unable to properly note down the correct physical address despite us sending her our lease agreement (which had the address). She then sent a technical team to do a survey, the technical team arrived and did the survey but even after their arrival, she still wasn’t able to locate the address. We even offered to send her a PIN geo location via Whatsapp and she still couldn’t locate it. We also extensively, tried to describe our location via a voice call, she still wasn’t able to locate it. It has been 8 days now since we first made contact and submitted our application. I would like to say that we are highly disappointed in Metrofibre’s service, we were under the impression that we would receive great service but that unfortunately hasn’t happened.

Some money was deposited into my account and for the past week or so FNB has blocked the money and I am unable to withdraw it. I have been going to the branch in order to speak to the branch manager and everytime I go there he (branch manager) phones someone at HeadOffice and that individual doesn't pick up the phone. There is no reason whatsoever given for the money to be blocked and the branch manager himself says he does not know why the money is being blocked. It is very unfair for a large corporation like FNB to block someone's hard earned money for no reason whatsoever.
