I spent over R15,000 on a PlayStation 5 console and accessories at Game in Mall of Africa. Only to find I bought a damaged console!!! I have been trying to get a replacement or a refund wishing my “7 day period” I have spoken to vusi Teboho petunia and the store manager mark who never gets back to me. I am absolutely disgusted at the after sale at this store. Their phone lines never work. It’s been 3 weeks and they still insist that the store doesn’t have the cash flow to refund me. I find it hard to believe that a store of that size can’t refund my R11,999 for the console!!!!!! I have kept the accessories as the intention was to get a replacement for the damaged console but after this experience all I want is my money back and I’ll go spend my money at another store other than game!!!! Utterly disgusted and disappointed after all the spending I have done in that store!!! Quick to swipe your card for thousands of rands but doesn’t live up to its 7 day return policy!! Save yourself the trouble go shop somewhere else!!!
Scam!!! Paid for a new iPhone battery and they put the old battery back in the phone.
My Husbands phone has been at Vodacom Woodmead Retail Park for over a year now for repairs!!!! The phone went in for a problem with the LCD. After 3 weeks of actually having a brand new phone in September 2018 We are now paying for a phone monthly that has been sitting at the store for over a year!!!! Firstly for almost 5 months they didn’t know where the phone was!!! when I called the store they blamed the repair center for having the phone and not giving them feedback. When I called the repair center in Sandton I found out the phone was sent back to the store months ago and was sitting in the store all this time!!!! Now the screen all of a sudden is cracked and they are now blaming the original problem with the LCD on the NOW cracked screen!!!!! They are now telling me that I need to pay for the damage as the LCD was damaged externally!!!!!!!!!!! When the phone was dropped off there was NO EXTERNAL DAMAGE whatsoever!!!!!!! And we had the phone for 3 weeks which means the phone is under warranty!!!!!!! When I went to the store a few months ago Lungile told me the repair center had closed down and they now cannot find the job number and they cannot assist all I can do is pay the quote of R1,800 to fix the damage!!! THERE WAS NO DAMAGE WHEN WE DROPPED OT OFF!!!!!! When we went to the store a few months ago I was told they cannot find the job card or the job number because the repair center had closed down!!! The store manager gift motloutsi called me for the first time in over a year not to resolve my issue or to apologize for his lack of customer service or incompetence Or for the fact that no one is getting back to us!!! but to scream at me telling me I must pay the quote if I want the phone fixed phone after I sent an email requesting the owner of the stores details. He then put the phone down and sent an email telling me his “boss” will call me. All of a sudden when I ask for the owners details NOW they have a job number but still they do now have a copy of the Original job card!!!!! He is refusing to give me the owners details but instead sends me an email about how he was brought up!!! The lack of after sales and customer service in this store is disgusting and disgraceful!!! I would never recommend this store to anyone!!!!!!
DO NOT EXTEND YOUR CAR MAINTENANCE PLAN WITH AVIS!! Quick to take your money but refuse to pay for fixing problems with your car! they do not fix problems and then when the problem comes back they refuse to assist because now you are 700km over the allowed km. months and months with the same problem and now after keeping my car at a dealership for over 3 weeks and not responding to my complaint and taking short cuts to fix a DSG gearbox problem now they are rejecting claims. save your selves the trouble. do not use AVIS in the past 30,000km (THAT I PAID R18,000 FOR) they have paid R2,800 for a service that's it!!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY if you call the call center apparently the agents are not allowed to help customers. if you speak to the Product Administrator they don't give feedback or call back if you speak to the MAU sales supervisor also no help i deal with high profile clients on a daily basis and i will tell every person not to use AVIS
BARONS VW WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I bought a demo model Polo GTI from Thulani Hutamo from Barons Woodmead. The new car sales manager at the time Brandon Govender had damaged the left side panel which I was told would be replaced. They replaced the plastic strip that was damaged but did not fix the actual panel of the car. Now the side panels are sliding down and they refuse to fix their short cuts. They are saying that it is for my cost even though Barons took a cheap short cut to sell a damaged demo polo GTI. I have been complaining about an error message that comes up regarding my DSG gearbox for over a year and once again Barons Woodmead is full of excuses. My car is still under warranty. They are again trying shortcuts to fix a problem for a short period of time. They said it’s a software problem. They upgraded the software but the error message still comes up. I again booked my car in at Barons Woodmead because my seat warmer is not working and because the error message is coming up more often. They have now realized that is not the software and that there is in fact a problem with the DSG but will only replace the gear lever shaft and not the actual DSG gearbox. After 4 days of my car being at the dealership the service adviser Bongani Ntombela called me to let me know that the gear lever shaft will only be available in a few days but they had fixed a short in the driver’s seat warmer. When I collected my car and left the dealership I wasn’t even 500m away and the seat warmer was not even working after Bongani had assured me that he himself had tested the seat warmer and it was working. He advised to come back to the dealership. On my way back he called to say he had given me the incorrect information and the seat warmer was in fact not fixed…. Lies upon lies upon lies. Barons is quick to take money and do sales but will not take responsibility for poor service and unacceptable cheap shortcut quick fixes. These short cuts and terrible service from Barons is disgraceful! I will never buy another car from VW again!! Their after sales service is shocking! Every week I get emails saying “Our Service Department is here to assist.” Empty promises and with terrible customer service!!!
DISGUSTING ATTITUDE FROM LIANE VAN DER MESHD!!!! I had a car accident and my insurance advised me to get information from the other parties insurance. The women I spoke to Liane van der meshd was extremely rude and uninterested!! She refused to give me the information I required and was not interested in anything i had to say. I explained what had happened at the accident scene and wanted to give her an accident report number but she was not the slightest bit interested!! she said she was aware of the accident as the client had called her. She spoke over me and would not listen to what my insurance was requesting. She then accused me of causing the accident and did not want the accident report number. She refused to give me her name and surname or a reference number for the call (even though they state on the phone that they record all calls). I asked to speak with her manager (Kobus Noorde) only then did she give me her name!!! But still refused to give me a reference number for the call!! i am utterly disgusted at liane's customer service and attitude!!! I deal with high profile clients on a daily basis and I would most definitely not recommend this insurance company to any of them!!! Liane should not be allowed to speak to clients with an attitude like hers. Every time I spoke, she spoke over me. every time i asked her something she sighs. she was not interested and not willing to help!! I am furious and disgusted at such disgusting customer relations!!!
<p>i would like to compliment Johannes at the dispatch/collections point at the strubens valley branch. This gentleman went out of his way to assist us today!! In all the rush of customers collecting bought appliances, he went out of his way to assist us even though we were not collecting but rather looking for big boxes. It's staff members like Johannes that makes the December rush bearable. Thank you again for your patience and assistance.</p>
