This review is not directly for booking.com but for one of their listings. We arrived at La Dolce Vita in St Lucia KZN South Africa, and was greeted by Janine, we had booked for 4 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival at 11am we informed her that 2 family member from Richard's bay will be joining us for supper which she okayed. At 7pm she and a fellow resident banged our door and barged into the unit, stating that they have received 3 complaints thus far(not stating what they were) and that the extra ppl need to leave immediately, as no visitors are allowed as per the body corp despite Janine agreeing upon our arrival. Not to cause any issues, the 2 guests left peacefully. Thereafter the 2 ladies continued to say all occupants must leave within 10min or else they will call security. I am 4 months pregnant,my husband pleaded that they give us 30min to vacate they refused and said we need to 'get out'. We were terrified as we were ousted and treated in a derogatory manner. I am sad to say St lucia as beautiful as it may be is still a hard core ****** town. We were kicked out whilst the other residents looked on and were entertained and laughed to see Indians being embarrased and harrassed. We drove 3 hours back home on Christmas eve.No remorse ,no compassion,no refund. Sick world we live in. Inhumane treatment by ****** St lucia residents. We are good standing citizens of South Africa and have traveled the globe only to be treated so poorly in our own country. Are we really a rainbow nation??

Lovely Indian chaat but you can't expect customers to wait 1h15 min for a simple sandwich I appreciate the thought of bringing India to durban..but then match the quick, simple service that you get in India. Your staff could care less. No manager on site too
Visited rain Farm game lodge today for their buffer breakfast. My partner and I do not consume pork and beef products. When we asked the staff if they could prepare lamb/mutton/chicken sausage or patties or even mince. We were told unfortunately not. So the only options we ate were scrambles eggs, beans and potato roasties. Dissapointed as 10min later we heard other patrons asking for beef/pork alternatives and they were given alternatives. I love the beauty and serenity of Rain farm, had I been offered an alternative this review would have been a 5
You can't go to a branch without an appointment. You call the contact centre to wait for and hour each time. You request a call back at 9am. They eventually call and 15.30. The agent asks me to hold and then drops the line. You trying calling back to a number that doesn't accept calls. I emailed 4 times no response. But you're expected to pay interest on outstanding balance which I have disputed???? A country robbing people of their hard earned money and no way for innocent working class to even talk to a human being on the otherside of the line. CRY THE BELOVED COUNTRY
If there was a negative star that would be my selection. Pathetic service as usual, unfortunately the only fibre option in my area. Firstly it took 5 weeks to to inform me I need to make a deposit to secure a fibre contract, but don't supply banking details.I called the contact centre who transfered me from pillar to post for over an hour, each person was rude, abrupt and unhelpful. Speaking in a manner as if I don't understand English. Shouting at a customer like you speaking to a child is horrid and disrespectful. Wish we had more fibre options so we don't have to deal with a ****py service and ****py network
One of my favorite breakfast spots to visit in umhlanga. Today's visit was extremely dissapointing, had a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich it was dry with 1 single slice of cheese and loaded with cherry tomatoes.Ciabatta was dry
Arrived at food*****s market this morning at 8.15 and they are closed even though the signage on the store says 8am
On the Indian bouquet, channel 451 B4U is unavailable for the past 3 weeks. Called the contact centre was put on hold for 40min,called from another phone,we were then helped within 5min.Will customers we compensated for unavailable services? Or are we dealing with yet another fallen SOE???
We frequent this restaurant almost 4 times a month, sometimes more, based on the ambience and good food. However this morning we had the worst experience, we ordered the beautifully presented egg Onassis only to find bugs and soil in the rocket leaves. There are serious health concerns associated with the consumption of soiled food. The kitchen manager blatantly ignored our complaint trying to justify it,saying it is not soil but rather toasted crumbs..Circus circus umhlanga Chartwell drive
