Spice Emporium **** Kashmiri chilli powder
Had the displeasure of buying Kashmir chilli powder it looked very nice, but when cooking the chicken turned pink in the pot. This curry powder had nothing but colouring. Spyce emporium why you disceiving customers. Shame on you. Your Kashmiri chilli powder is ****. Shame on you

Useless
Lovely Indian chaat but you can't expect customers to wait 1h15 min for a simple sandwich I appreciate the thought of bringing India to durban..but then match the quick,simple service that you get in India. Your staff could care less. No manager on site too

Useless
Lovely Indian chaat but you can't expect customers to wait 1h15 min for a simple sandwich I appreciate the thought of bringing India to durban..but then match the quick,simple service that you get in India. Your staff could care less. No manager on site too

Changed my order for something cheaper than I paid for without informing me
Worst experience ever. I order online and have everything delivered to me. My order came in a damaged food box. Once I ordered all items were in stock. As i opened up my order I noticed that something was missing, order two packs of chilli powder and only received one. Reason for ordering two was one for me and the other for my parents. Send a mail got back a quick response (was impressed with that) the they tell me that they didn't have stock and decided to give my a different size than the once I ordered but only received 1 and not two. The 1 pack is cheaper than what I paid for the two separate packs. Spice emporium did not informed me at all or asked if they can change my order they did this without my knowledge or go ahead. Now they are refusing to refund me the difference or deliver and ekstra pack of chilli powder. They just stopped answering my emails and is now ignoring me. Most ********* experience I ever had on order anything online. You can not decided to give a customer something els that is cheaper than what the customer paid for without informing the customer and refuse to refund them for the difference. Its not the customers fault that you are out of stock. The product was in stock upon ordering. Will never order again form this place and will make sure that I can inform everyone I can about my experience so that they can purchase at a different place that will not do the customer in at all.

Spices Variety & Affordability
The products are really good and selection is expansive. They do stock items you don't usually find in other stores. I stopped in to buy ingredients for vegetarian dish and left with a bag full of some of the best quality and authentic spices I've found anywhere. The ready made snacks are quite good and the prices are competitive. Staff on the floor very knowledgeable, however service is sometimes slow. The roti and samoosa's selection is good. Re arranging the store to optimize the space to display items better would make shopping here even better for customers. The store does get busy and additional staff would also be very useful. I did wait a while to get cashed out. Otherwise one of the best places to get all your indian spices and more.

Spice Disaster
Purchased products online, took them weeks to actually ship my order, only half of products arrive and months later I am still struggling to get my refund. I have a feeling they have stolen my money and will not pay me back. I have all the emails and correspondence to prove my statement above.

They don't refund they steal your money
Ordered online. One item was out of stock. Been fighting for a refund all week! The store staff apparently can't raxh the owner. Apparently these days the owner is difficult to reach! Probably holidaying with stolen money. I've emailed the owner no reply. I've emailed the store many times, no reply! I've called and the staff just say they will get back to me and don't! Please do. Not trade with this brand! Thieves!
