i received really excellent service from Wade at the big V&A branch. He went out of his way to assist a colleague who was dealing with me, but did not know enough about the product I was looking for. He clinched the sale and gave the credit to his colleague. definitely management material.
I received a Weber Smokey Joe with half the pieces missing( having only opened it six weeks after receipt. i called it in and provided all the necessary and receive an email saying that a consultant would get back ti me. Well six weeks later and five e-mails to them I have heard nothing from them. why should I have to drive to their office and get a simple thing sorted

this company took my order/cash on 21st April and still have not delivered my purchase. 2 e-mails have been unanswered and yesterday i phoned and left a message, as instructed. i still have had no response, apart for a call two weeks ago to say the product was coming in 3 days. the caller admitted that they had not got the product that they had advised and for which I paid in good faith. i should have gone with Takealot. be warned
My Mazda CX-5 was damaged while in for a service. I only noticed it 36 hours later. Mekor Mazda Claremont were fantastic, especially Nur. The vehicle was repaired in 24 hrs without a question. I am a committed fan.
New Vaal Motors Upington, Mercedes dealership made no effort to replace an alternator on my ML 320cdi. for more than 10 days, in spite of repeated requests. i sourced a replacement as MB had none in the country. His lack of co-operation cost me R18000 in hotel and car-hire. They did stay open for me after hours on 28th May and assisted in getting me a hire car initially.
Clinton was super efficient in handling my return of goods bought just before lockdown and issuing a gift voucher for the amount so that I could buy something else, which arrived in super quick time this afternoon. I am really impressed with the fantastic customer service rendered by Mr Pillay.
<p>I contacted Hello Peter in December about a domestic fibre service agreement signed on 28th October. i recieved a quick response/apology that it would be looked into. it is now more than a month later and i have heard nothing from them, even when i e-mailed the rep to cancel the contract due to non-performance.</p>
<p>i made the serious mistake of signing up with Vox Telecom for Fibre in Cape Town on the 26th October. when nothing had happened six weeks later, i tired phoning the Cape Town office, but could nevr get through. i phone the JHB office for assistance but got none. I then e-mailed the address on the contract document. i received an immediate response that the lady would investigate and get back to me. i am still waiting. i then e-mailed the rep who signed me up and a flourish of internal e-mails took place. He commented that something was wrong as his other customers were already connected. last week he told that there had been a "discrepancy with regard to a duplicate quote" whatever that means. i have heard nothing since. it is nearly two months since i signed up. two other ISP's have approached me during this period and i wish that i had signed up with one of them. Vox Telecom's lack of service and professional does not bode well for new customers. I am not holding my breath for a response from them this year.</p>
