Outsiders Not Welcome
I made the mistake of visiting the pub wearing shoes, with no visible tattoos, and teeth. I was clearly not recognized as being human by the people serving drinks. The local patrons display of what they consider to be their superior fighting skills leads me to belive that you would be better off armed if you decide to visit this establishment.

Specify T & C's clearly.
Firstly hats off for a fantastic Burger Special on Fridays. Please specify that your FNB account must be linked to the Smart Shopper Card. Advert only specifies that I must be a registered Smart Shopper and have an active FNB account. Even though I qualify for both and had both cards with me Willows Crossing doesn't acknowledge this. 😡 Advert also says add a 1.5l Coke assorted but apparently the special only applies to Coke Zero.😡

Thanks for Nothing Alexander Forbes.
My Masscash provident money was with Sanlam, but when I wanted to withdraw it they told me that I had been transferred to Alexander Forbes and that because the transfer was in progress I could not withdraw it for a couple of months. I made it clear on several occasions that I had retired and am now living in Botswana. Alexander Forbes used the documents that I had submitted to Sanlam and could obviously see that at 62 I was eligible for retirement. Apparently I had ticked the wrong box which was "withdrawal claim" which is what I was doing. Being 62 I would have thought that they would advise me instead of requesting a tax directive purely on a document which was not even an Alexander Forbes document but a Sanlam document. I got not assistance in trying to rectify this and was told that I had to go the SARS. SARS tells me that while it would take some effort on Alexander Forbes's part, that they are the ones who could rectify it. I advise people to not have too much faith in Alexander Forbes.

Nashua DisConnect Botswana
Anyone coming to Botswana and considering the various WiFi options, I would not recommend NConnect. Nashua should consider changing the name to DisConnect. I have been disconnected on several occasions even though my account has always been up to date. I have had no internet for 48 hours despite numerous empty promises. 😡

Top Class Restaurant
We arranged a private room for an engagement celebration at Fireroom Castle Gate on Sunday night and everything was exceptional. The food is delicious, and the service went beyond expectations. Upmarket prices but well worth it - Highly recommended.

Withoutsurance
I can safely say that I have experienced the worst service imaginable from ARC, a division of Legacy Group. I guess because I don't drive a BMW my vehicle is not a priority. Takes them three an a half weeks to do a two week job. No feedback unless repeatedly asked and then totally incomplete. More info to follow.

Young Girl Stranded
If you want your car repaired quickly I would not recommend McCarthy Ford Silverlakes. My daughter had her car towed there on Wednesday afternoon and has still not received an official quote for the exorbitant amount quoted to repair her fuel pump.

Over priced item.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would pay 35% more for a bottle of Hunters Dry and a Pick 'n Pay in Gaborone than I do at the Checkers 1km away.
