Good day Consumers I will never recommend any customer to use VOX Telecom home Wifi vendor. It is sad that companies are out there to rip honest customers off. We joined vox home wifi few months ago and requested the R399-00 uncapped wifi package. The installation was supposedly free of charge as the equipment belongs to VOX. During installation we informed the technician that within a few days we will require a similar installation at another venue and requested advise. The technician said that there would be no problems at all. When the day arrived for the installation at the second venue, VOX Telecom home wifi had innumerable reasons why they could not do the installation and requested more money. We informed them about the discussion with the installation technician. After multiple phone calls we received a MikroTik extension box and again after numerous calls to VOX requesting set up assistance with set up we were assisted. When the bill arrived, our package bill had increased to over the agreed original amount. After multiple communication sessions we were informed that we are paying for two venues, this made sense but, it was weirdly extremely high. We enquired and our wifi supply was suspended till we paid this high amount. Strangely, we were also informed that the original package was not allowed or offered at the second venue. Not long after, the wifi seized again. Upon enquiry vuma fibre's technicians were summoned to assist as vuma fibre's router is the host for the MikroTik extension box. The technicians informed us that there were something wrong with their box and that the problem was resolved. When the bill arrived again from VOX it was higher than previously. We thought that we were paying for the vuma fibre technician's call out which, was unfair as it was not our equipment and responsibility to maintain the network. Currently 16 October 2024 just a few moths after joining VOX home wifi without logical explanation, our bill has now quadrupled to an absorbent amount and our wifi is also suspended till we pay this extra - extra large amount. Please consumers refrain from using VOX home wifi as you might step into a similar trap as us. Kind Regards Martin I
I'm not sure if Helo Peter is able to assist however, based on my previous review regarding the prepaid electricity. Today we purchased R800-00 worth of electricity and received a mere 373.10kwh, wow! An entire R400-00 missing? Oh my me. What's happening to our beautiful country?
Being requested to rate recommending the Masters to a friend is quite a challenge because, firstly it is a government agency and secondly it is inevitable that everyone in South Africa is compelled to use their services as soon as someone is deceased. Regards
Good day Compiling positive reviews are like a brick of gold, extremely scares. Today, like every other month, I purchased prepaid electricity after the beginning of the month and every time the units lower in comparison to the amount purchased. This morning, I purchased R150-00 worth of electricity and received a mere 49,7kw. What happens to the rest of the money? If I were to purchase the same R150 worth of electricity, I would probably receive 29 kw worth. Why are South Africans dealth with in such ************ ways. No wonder individuals refuse to pay for services rendered because, this is daylight *******. Regards
Attesting the monitory absurdity of obtaining a letter of executor not letter of authority as indicated in my previous review came to light while conversing with an acquaintance whose husband passed away last year 2022. This widower is also experiencing the monitory pressure, trying to obtain this executor letter from the Masters. We are informed that, should one's assets be over R250-000-00 one has to request this letter through a lawyer not only that, the remaining family has to pop up exorbitant amount of money for transfer costs, six months rates and taxes and advertising fees. Most individuals does not have any other means of income but, is still obligated to pay these amounts. The challenge is, these accumulated interest over time and if not dealt with soon, more money has to be popped up later as inflation play a huge role. This R250-000-00 rule has to be done away with as certain individuals just don't have that kind of money. Kind regards
Greetings to all Obtaining a letter of authority from the Masters used to be an easy exercise however, off late it became a tremendous challenge to individuals more so to families who are not well off. Reality hit home as one of my parents recently passed away. We are currently being referred to, by employees of the Masters to obtain the Authorization letter through a lawyer where in the past we would walk in the Masters offices, complete and submit the relevant documents and be off. The challenge currently is, obtaining this valuable letter through lawyers are a costly exercise especially to individuals not well off. Just putting it into perspective, one law firm required about R3000-00 for services rendered while another law firm is requesting about R750-00 as a consultation fee meaning, if we don't make use of this firm, almost a R1000-00 of well earned income is lost. We are informed that the chargers are based on the total value of assets. My humble request is that the Masters recall this policy in order to accommodate us as South Africans as a whole. Kind regards
Good day friends I'm aware that we must promote our local companies however, some are just making it a challenge to present good reviews. My experiences with certain lackadaisical, incompetent budget employees are as follows: Last week July 2022. My spouse phoned budget on my behalf regarding a claim on our motor warranty plant for gearbox repairs. The consultant wasn't willing to assist as I was supposed to give authorization first, fair enough! The challenge is, we are with budget for four years now and I have already granted permission numerous times. Last week July 2022, I phoned again requesting authorization for my spouse and to my surprise, when my spouse phoned on the 4 August 2022, we found out that my spouse still doesn't have permission. After another call from me, I was again informed that permission was granted. Regarding the mechanical warranty claim on the gearbox, we were informed that the insurance will pay out only a mere R4000-00 for a R60 000-00 plus quotation from the service provider or vendor. Upon enquiring from Budged employees as to why this was the case, I was informed that we were on a train which only pay out R4000-00. My question is this; we are insured with Budget four years now, for this specific car and the mechanical warranty is an extension policy towards the same car. In two weeks, without fail, every consultant would ask, as a security question on their system, the name, make and registration of the vehicle, how then is it possible that they put us on a scheme which does not cover our car since they have all the relevant information about the car. Now we have to fork out money from our pockets as the service provider requires money from us, such incompetence is uncalled for. Although this is my experience with Budget Insurance, each individual must decide for him or her self.
Good day all. I just feel the need to compliment takealot for excellent service delivery. I bought a couple of items from them and what pleasant experiences. Good quality products and on time deliveries, not sure about the return policy as so far it was not required. Excellent work. Regards M
Good day fellow consumers. It is with great sadness that I share this review however, we are all adults and must decide for ourselves. September 2019, we purchased three (3) I-life laptops. Round about March 2020 the usb and hdmi ports started breaking off and soon to follow the screens of the two began tearing off from the main computer. We tried nursing the third one until now, one year and few months later. The third one is busy giving up the ghost, ten thousand rand down the drain. I might not be compensated for the huge mistake we made in purchasing this inferior product from an inferior brand or company however, I can assist hard paying consumers from doing the same and falling into an I-life trap. Please stick to the time tested name brands which will last you years and years. Regards
Good day. I don't believe that hellopeter is able to assist as Macro just laughed-off my preceding review however, this is my latest ordeal. During August 2020, we submitted two ilife laptops (totally useless laptops for your hard earned money), to Game stores for repairs as both laptop screens began tearing. Now as a background both laptops were purchased September 2019 and both screens started tearing round about March and due to the lockdown we couldn't submit for repairs. We were told that we must count 21 days after obtaining an SMS from Game stores before enquiry, another SMS was sent and we were phoned and informed by a game employee that the laptops were resubmitted as game employd another repair vendor, we began counting a new set of 21 days. Upon enquiry we were informed that the laptops were repaired and had to be delivered to the store. A week lapsed with total silence, we enquired again and was told to wait for an SMS. We waited and eventually contacted the game stores headquarters, a certain Osline opened an enquiry and requested my contact details and the total silence again. Recently I contacted game head office and a certain Natasha opened another enquiry and requested my contact details then again, total silence. Wow! Is total silence the way to treat your clients? Regards
