Please dont take insurance with them - It was good in the beginning but the premium increase is insane - Had a 24.9% increase in 2025 and another 24.9% in 2026 - Just shocking - and I did not claim anything in the last 10 years!!!
I purchased a 40cm wok on takealot as a birthday present. The wok was covered in plastic when the delivered it - no box. All that was visible was the handle. I took of the outside sticker and wrapped the wok. When the person bday boy opened his wok It was a 35cm and not a 40cm wok. I send takealot a request for credit for the difference in price. I included a photo with the sticker of the wrong wok dimensions. Takealot refuses to help me because they want me to return the product? *** - I gave it as a birthday present I can't!! This is like *****ing! I had another two orders after this order and if you don't refund me I will stop buying from takealot! I don't deal with *******!
I bought an item to the value of R8997 on takealot 19 March - The item did not have the correct accessories inside. I returned it. Today I get an email notifying me that you dont have a correct item to replace it but you will credit my account with the amount? Really ? I want you to credit my credit card!!!! not a R8997 amount as credit on my account!!! Either supply the item (get one from the supplier - seeing that they still advertise it on their own site) or give me my money back!! If I miss the special I would like Takelot to still provide it at the same price seeing that I can't buy it directly from the supplier (takealot have my money!) You need too man up and get a telephone number for complaints
People always complain about customs when they bring in items that is not allowed into South Africa. I was very optimistic after speaking to a person at Daff and to a call centre agent at Aramex– I decided to purchase some amaryllis bulbs from a few suppliers. I applied for an import permit; I was ready to follow the legal route. I used almost all my December bonus to buy some of these beautiful bulbs from suppliers in Europe. Some bulbs already arrived in South Africa and then my problems started. First it was held by customs and currently its being held by “Plant detention”. I need a phytosanitary certificate that the supplier must issue. All the suppliers in Europe said we have Euro 1 trade agreement with them, and they do not need to give me a certificate. The deed was done, and I was going to lose all my money without a glimmer of hope. In all this crazy event the people of Daff really tried to find a way to help me. Ben & Lawrence referred me to a lady by the name of Queen – Queen is willing to test same samples to try and help me… giving me hope. The law is the law but thank you for the friendly guidance along the way. Thank you for going the extra mile. Ben, Lawrence & Queen – you guys are the best!
Checkers Hyper Mayville Pretoria is the best groceries shop in the whole South Africa. Friendly smiles, helpful service and an absolute shoppers treat! Yes I bought things that expired and yes sometimes they did not had stock - but they refund, return and get the products I want!
I have logged a return RRN-6bed-82b8 exchange order 80818737 on the 6th December - I received a sms to say it will be delivered on the 8th. Ever since then I received an sms EVERYDAY to say it will be delivered and then later an sms to say its delayed. I phoned in but was told its at the wrong (Montana) facility and needs to go to Annlin - these are less that 3km apart?????? I have send emails! I called!! Takealot is in denial that their system is not working Please just reissue a replacement order - obviously your system is not working!!!
I will never refer any woman to FFW. After being at least 15 years with FFW (claimed once more than 10 years ago.....) I received a letter stating that my premium will increase with 21% but value will increase with 8% - I were so shocked- in a Covid year FFW feels that they have the right to increase my policy with 21%??? I complained but was phoned back to say they can’t do anything for me because I already received a discount last year!!! Even if I can’t get cheaper insurance I will definitely move because they did not even try to help!!!! Don’t say you treat women good... because you don’t.....it’s just now like all the other A&G insurance companies!!!
In the last week my alarm went off a few times without National ever phoning me. Today I tested the alarm, again they didn't call...so I phoned them. First 3 attempts they did not answer my call. 4th time somebody answer and when I ask why they didn't phone he said my alarm didn't go off. I asked what can be wrong just to have him cut me off. So National I think its time for me to cut you of as well.... Why do I have an alarm if its not working..... At least refer the client to the technical team to fix the alarm.... Chubb was a good company but National sucks!!! New owners need a wakeup call - service worse ever!!!!
I did not change the way I bank, yet ABSA rewards "reviewed" me to a lower tier? Why must I continue to support ABSA if you do not even inform me about it? I am for sure going to review ABSA as well - you do not deserve to be my bank anymore. The only reason I stayed with ABSA is now gone!!!
I logged a call on the 17 Nov 2017 for a dead land line. Call was closed without the line being restored. Logged another call on the 26 Nov Ref: 6CTZ261117 - My line was fixed on the 25th Jan 2018. Longer than 2 months without a phone. I phoned 3 times to ask for a credit and on all the calls they just say it must be investigated and then I will be refunded. I want my refund for at least 2 full months. If you can't give me a refund for two months (Plus the interest you are charging me on that rental) be so kind to send me the paperwork to close my account!!! Telkom is useless and refuse to take responsibility for the fact that they provide absolutely no service....
