Useless service. Arrogant, self-righteous people.We pay for 50Mbps line, but NEVER get these speeds then they tell us 40-42 Mbps is fast. This might be "ok", but it is still not 50Mbps!! Then they tell us we sometimes (extremely rarely) get 45 Mbps, so we have an EXCELLENT 90% service. But they cannot give us a 10% credit, as they "do not give credits for their under-performance".!!?? They have 30Mbps lines available, but we are not allowed to downgrade to a lower package, only upgrade. I have been busy with this bunch of clowns for nearly a month now, trying to sort this out!! I asked them to send a technician to our house, they ignore this request like a stopstreet!! Absolutely useless people.
We received EXCEPTIONAL service from Elize at Blinds, Curtains and More, throughout. We received professional advice, the BEST POSSIBLE prices... and believe me, we CHECKED and double checked!! Just make sure you look at all the price ranges in their portfolio, not just the most expensive range. It goes from 1 to 6, so look carefully at all the available products. From the moment we made our choice, we were happy all the way. We are fanatical (no, not just half measure, We mean REALLY fanatical) about quality, craftmanship and perfection of installation. We got 100% in all areas. The installation was quick but absolutely PERFECT. I would also really recommend installing canopies as well, it looks- and works so much better. We have been using these blinds for about a month now and we could not be happier. Every time we open or close a blind we are happy all over again. These blinds have enhanced our home and we are proud to have these in our home. We are 100% happy with chosing Blind, Curtains and More. You would be too, we are sure of it!
EXCELLENT investment company. Great value added. Sound investments, low costs, stable, reputable. EXTREME good communication throughout. 10X responds to queries immediately. Resolves any issues super, super fast and one has access to all your historical data on the APP, showing your intire investment history and performance. My wife and I have been with 10X for more than 10 years and we couldn't be happier. I worked for Liberty Life before and when I decided to invest my pension, We looked at all the insurance and investment companies' cost structures and realised that due to high admin costs, our investments would be totally eroded within 8 to 14 years. At 10X our capital has actually grown over the past 10 years, notwithstanding us taking out 7% of the investment in monthly income. Well done 10X!!
Afrihost is a brilliant company, but they are seriously damaging their reputation by using a pathetic courier service: DAWN WING COURIERS/DPD LASER to deliver their routers. A rating of 1.9 on Google! Very, very, very bad. No deliveries on public holidays and weekends!!??, can you believe this?? And this for a company that works with internet connectivity!? I am now without internet over the whole long weekend and who knows for how long thereafter??
The Farmers Bistro is unbeatable in terms of value for money, effeciency, style, atmosphere, service, management participation, etc, etc, etc. You do not have a meal here, you have a memorable EXPERIENCE. Everyone here, from the manager to the staff is super efficient, friendly and above all, CARING. WELL DONE, We will definitely be back, as we have been so many times before. Manager (Tiaan) overheard us talking about our house registration which came through and surprised us with champaigne without us expecting anything! Such a wonderful gesture!! Brilliant customer service. Well done!!! We asked if we could buy 8 leather table mats. We said that we would be coming past again next Wednesday. These are ordered from the Cape. He went out of his way to organise it and we are picking these up next Wednesday. A man of his word. He manages 4 restaurants!!!! The waiter who served us the last 2 times when we visited the restaurant is Fortune. EXCELLENT service from him. Makes every visit enjoyable. But each and every staff member is exceptionally well trained and it shows. We use to akways go to Spur (not to take anything away from them), but from the first time we tried Farmers Bistro, we never went anywhere else. If you drive past Alzu and do not visit Farmers Bistro, it is your loss!
We had lunch at Farmers Bistro today. This was our third visit here. We always stop here on our way past, just to visit this restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service, allways. Today the waiter said they have zero red wine. Nothing, nada. My wife always has a glass of dry red wine with her lunch. We were very disappointed. The waiter explained that they had issues with ordering. He saw our disappointment and asked one of his managers to make a plan. They quickly went out and bought a few bottles of dry red wine, a good wine, Simonsvlei Shiraz, and the waiter poured my wife a full glass. Well done, Fortune (no 17), we appreciate your dedication. You single-handedly changed a possible very bad review into a 5 star review. I hope your management sees this and acknowledges you accordingly!
DSTV Box Office rents out movies for R40 per movie. You pick it on the DSTV channel. You get charged R40 on your DSTV account, WITHOUT FAIL. 100% ACCURACY HERE. I only gave 1 star, because I cannot give a zero star. They do not deserve 1 star. When you want to watch your movie, it does not load. This happens as often as not. Say about 50% of the time. Has ZERO to do with internet or connectivity or anything else!! Then you phone tge DSTV helpline. Shame....poor imbeciles!! Even though you give them ALL the info (to answer to the: - by now, well known nonsense questions they ask you), they still ask you their scripted questions!! ***??! But hear this one: This is hillarious!: They ask you for the "rental code" of the movie. DSTV has not been using rental codes for possibly 4 or 5 years or longer now.. And I tell these *****s this every time I phone them, but they insist that they are right and you are wrong. But DSTV NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER, fail to charge you tge R40, EVER!! I am so glad that we cancelled our Premiun subscription as of today, 31 Dec 2025. SO glad to see this bunch of ****** disappear out of our lives FOREVER!!
I had Superior/Excellent service from Nick at NexGen Computing today. I bought an MS Office software package from them and I was extremely upset because I thought it was a ****, when I was not prompted for the product key to register the product. It was a lot more than jus that, but anyway, I attacked the company from the start. Nick responded. He was immensely professional and went out of his waty to assist me throughout the whole process, which took a very long time, late on a Saturday afternoon/evening. Brilliant service, perfectly legit business, most professional and very good pricing!! Will definetely use them again, if needed in future. Thx Nick!!
We have been dealing with Autotrader to sell our vehicle over the past few days and received the most amazing, excellent and professional service you can ever think of. I just got off the line with a Dial Direct consultant. I was told that you lose your entire payback bonus if you put in a windscreen claim. And I phoned them because when I wanted to put in a claim through my app, the app told me the same thing. And the consultant confirmed this. So, it's the only insurance company that I know of where you lose your entire bonus of three years because you put in a windscreen claim. I can understand if you put in a vehicle damage claim, but not a windscreen claim. So, you've got no control over this. We're driving in a country where there's lots of trucks and cars and pebbles on the road, and you get damaged on a windscreen. So, if you want to have insurance where you get penalized for that, then you must go to Dial Direct. I think everyone should be aware of this so that you're not caught when you're considering taking the insurance cover from Dial Direct. So, the best thing for me to do now is to claim and then cancel my insurance and go to another insurance company. Because if I don't claim, then I've got to pay for my full windscreen and then hopefully get a bonus in three years' time. But my bonus currently is about R13,000. In three years' time, it'll be a lot more. So, I'll lose all of that because I put in one windscreen claim now for a few thousand. So, that's not worth it. So, rather than me paying insurance premiums for the next few years, I'd rather just claim and then cancel my insurance. And then I'll go and look for a proper insurance company that doesn't do this.
