I had such a great experience with Jaco and the team at Citton Cars. Jaco was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional throughout the entire process. He stayed in contact with me the whole time and made sure I was always updated, which I really appreciated. Linde was also amazing in assisting with all the paperwork and documents – everything was handled efficiently and smoothly. I live in Durban and purchased the car from Pretoria, which can be quite a complicated and stressful process, but they made it so much easier. Their support, communication, and professionalism really stood out. Highly recommend Jaco and Citton Cars – thank you for making this such a positive experience!
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Pretoria Noord Toyota while trying to purchase a Toyota 86. I enquired about the vehicle the same evening it was listed. The following morning I received a call from Hendrick, who provided additional information later in the day, including videos and finance documents. As I am based in Durban and the dealership is in Pretoria, I needed detailed information before making travel arrangements. I made it clear that I was serious about purchasing the vehicle and intended to pay a substantial deposit while financing the balance. Hendrick mentioned there were other interested buyers, so I submitted my finance application within minutes. Throughout that Friday, I followed up for updates and was eventually told that nothing would be finalized over the weekend and that I would be kept informed. Based on that assurance, I decided to wait before booking flights. On Monday morning, after my message was left on read, I called only to be told the vehicle had been sold on Saturday. My finance application had already been approved and I was fully prepared to proceed with the purchase. I had spent the entire day arranging finances and preparing logistics, and both my partner and I effectively lost a full working day over this. The lack of communication and coordination was extremely disappointing. I was informed that 18 salespeople were working on the same vehicle, which suggests a serious breakdown in internal communication. No one appeared to know what the others were doing. While Willie (the manager) was more helpful when I eventually spoke to him, he was largely unavailable and the overall customer experience fell far below what I would expect from a Toyota dealership. Clear communication, transparency, and professionalism are critical — especially when dealing with clients purchasing vehicles from another city. Unfortunately, that standard was not met in this case. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to avoid this dealership.
My experience with First Car Rentals has been incredibly disappointing. After encountering issues with my booking, I reached out to their customer service for assistance, only to be met with complete indifference and zero support. The lack of professionalism and accountability from this company is astonishing. Instead of resolving the issue or offering any kind of help, I was left to deal with the fallout on my own. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for them. This experience has been frustrating and infuriating. I expected a reputable company to provide reliable service and address concerns promptly, but First Car Rentals failed on every front. I will never use their services again, and I would strongly advise others to avoid them if they value their time and peace of mind.
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Booking.com. My recent experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. After encountering issues with my car rental booking, I contacted both Booking.com and the rental company, only to receive zero assistance from either party. Booking.com’s lack of accountability and support is absolutely appalling. Their customer service is unresponsive and unhelpful, leaving me stranded without any resolution. It feels like they simply don’t care about their customers once they’ve taken their money. I expected better from such a well-known platform, but instead, I’m left feeling cheated and frustrated. This experience has completely eroded my trust in Booking.com, and I will never use their services again. If you’re considering Booking.com, think twice. The service is unreliable, and should anything go wrong, don’t expect them to have your back.
Absolutely terrible customer service and just an overall horrible experience. Paid the car rental in full and when the time came to pick up the car they refused to give us the car. The staff and managers treat people with disrespect and are overall extremely unhelpful and plain rude. Needless to say, I will not be using or recommending them ever and it seems many people share a similar experience.

I drove over spikes on the highway and was stranded for hours. King price was non responsive. It has been days and no one has gotten back to me on the matter. Worst insurance ever. No roadside assist... No help... Nothing.
Absolutely horrible. Booked and paid for a flight last year before Covid 19. Haven't even been able to reach them AT ALL to get a voucher or refund. Absolutely Pathetic.
Can't complain about the customer service as there is NONE! Been trying to contact them for a while now, Self Service portals don't work, and if you try to phone you are on the line for an agent for 30 minutes until the call is cut. They don't respond to emails either. How is anyone supposed to get in contact with them??????
They debit unexplained extra amounts from your account, and when you try to query the matter, there is no response on calls, emails or any form of communication. They do apparently have the time to reply on Facebook with useless responses claiming they will contact you. I will be taking this matter further if I do not get this matter resolved within the week.
