I am Puleng Mahlangu and got an offer of employment from Transman in April 2018. I disclosed to them during the interview stages that I have a restraint of trade but I was told not to worry about it as they have been employing people with RoT and they always come right with them. I signed the offer and they gave me permission to resign and I did... I even served my notice with my previous employer. My start date with Transman was 22 May 2018 but I told not to start yet as they were fixing my restraint of trade issue. They could not not come right with it and as a result, they attempted retracting my offer. Before this attempt, they sent me a revised offer subject to RoT to cover themselves up, which I refused to sign. I took them to CCMA and they promised to pay me my salary from May to date and to also create a position for me at their Centurion branch but that never happened. I've been sending them emails asking for mere updates and feedback but no one even cares to respond to my emails. I went to Dept of Labour to open a case regarding my salary and when then Labour Officer called Esther (HR Manager I assume), she did not have any answers as to why I'm still no paid. She asked the Labour Office to call her again in an hour but when he did, she ignored our calls. She has promising me nothing but lies. Each time she says she will get back to me, SHE NEVER DOES. My credit life is at stake because of Transman. Is this fair??? They get their salaries each month. I have bills to pay too. My life is ruined because of them. I wouldn't have resigned if they had not told me to thinking that I have a job.
I took out a cellphone contract with Telkom and CELLPHONE INSURANCE on the 08th Dec 2017. A month later I got involved in an incident where my phone got stolen. When I called Finrite to claim, I was told that my application for cellphone insurance was not submitted. I called Telkom's call centre and they also confirmed that my bill does not include insurance fees. I was assisted by Elias Mafuthe at Telkom - Mall of Africa and we did a checklist together and I have proof. What do we do in this case? Who is now liable for this huge cost? It can't be my fault that someone decided not to do their job.
I got to the Cape Town Airport's Mango Check-in area an hour before my flight and by the time I got to check-in was 11:25 because their ques move slow and my flight was for 11:50. I was turned back and I had to pay extra money to be on the 13:15 flight. Mind you, Mango was late with the whole HOUR on Friday night and all I got was an apology SMS. Why is it that I can't be let in 35mins prior to my check-in but accept your 1 hour flight delay??? Please see how you can compensate me because I find this so unfair. Imma create awareness on this.
I took out a contract with Vodacom, Mall of Africa but their sim cards never worked for full 8 days. I returned the phones to the store and they took them back. They are supposed to refund me my R210 for sim connection that never even happened. When I took the phones back, they checked and confirmed with me that everything was in there as it should be. 4 days later when I decide to follow up with them since no one cared to call me back as promised, they tell me that they can't refund me because there were no simcards in my phones. At first, they told me that they can't refund me because the sim-cards were already linked to the system and they can't use them again. Now they just called me saying they are only willing to refund me half the price. Why should I be punished for their negligence??? I want my money!!! I am not letting them go and I'll make sure that they pay for this. When I left the store, Susan assured me that they will DEFINITELY refund me. Now they are finding loopholes not to refund me my hard earned money. There's a lot of dishonesty here. Pay me back my money!!!
I took out a policy with them and added my husband on the policy. I logged my claim for my husband and asked them nicely to please contact him after 5pm because he works on site and is not allowed to take his phone with but they still called him whenever it best suits their mood. I then received an email from Thabiso S. Ramoshaba saying that we should call them because they can't reach us. I called him back to advise AGAIN for the 4th time that my husband is only available after 5pm and he was soooo rude and told me to acknowledge that he would have knocked off by 5pm. I then asked if no one will assist after 5pm but he could not answer me, he just said "I don't know". He is the rudest thing I ever had to deal with. When I took this policy, I was told that we get legal advise 24/7 and yet they can't help us after mere 5pm. This my first legal policy and I'm saddened to say that they have failed both me and my husband when we needed them the most an yet I ****en pay them every month WITH NO FAIL. Whoever is planning to take a policy with them is just wasting their time. DO NOT! I am taking this to social media for false advertising.
<p>I changed jobs in Aug 2016 and notified MTN to run their debit orders on the last the of the month because my pay day has changed. I called a multiple times but nothing has been done about it and as a result, I'm always in arreas with them and my phone is ALWAYS suspended. When I make payments, they tell me they are not reflecting. Now I don't even know how much I ****en owe them coz the service I get from their consultants is just as ****ty as they are. I just wanna cancel the ****en contract I have with them and use a service provider.</p> <p> </p> <p>MTN is ****ty and the service is bad. What a waste of my money. I am definitely taking this up with my lawyers. Sick bustards they are.</p>
<p>I bought a car at Fury Woodmead GM in December and Billy (GM Sales), advised me that the car was still within the service plan only to find out on the day of the service that "my"service plan has expired. I was never going to buy that car had I known beforehand. Mind you, the called me hours after dropping my car off to tell me that my service plan has expired. Where the hell am I supposed to get money they quoted without budgeting for it???</p> <p> </p> <p>They must just be honest with customers and never sugarcoat nonsense with lies just to make a sale!!!</p>
