Not as advertised - don't read their own fine print! I have purchased a Jojo tank from bBuilders warehouse Northriding. Advertised with free plastic tap, but this is also advertised is inclusive of a brass tap. After delivery, I called the store and advised them that they did not include none of the taps or fittings were delivered,the gentleman apologized and arranged that this be delivered same day, they only delivered the free plastic tap but not the brass tap that is included in the price. I logged a complaint on the Builders warehouse site. The Complaints department reached out - even worse!!! They couldn't even navigate their own site and once I've explained to them, the one person acknowledged that i was right but later denied when speaking to who I thnk was his superior. I told this person John Hammond which now I have a complaint against him that works in the Complaints department. When they denied that person one acknowledged, I told him to pull the call recording because they were making me out to be making nonsense up!!! John was to call me back thereafter to which he didn't. Three days later I've sent a follow up email to which no response. A lady from Builders warehouse called me for clarity, she went to the site and assured that infact yes, they messed up and promised to make good on this on the Monday, no call nothing!!!! What are they hiding, seems like they buying time to fix their false advertising, but I have screen shots which I've also sent to John Hammond - The walking complaint that works in the Complaints department.
We have ordered some Pizzas from Pizza baby Boskruin - Randburg. This was for my family with kids, while eating, I bit on a tough bit which I found felt terrible and disgusting!!!!!! Upon further investigation I flipped over the other slices, this fabric like material was baked into other slices, it was a fabric of some sort. When we went back to the store and spoke to the franchise owner, it was found to be bits of the damping MOP used in the pizza oven!!!! The owner offered a fresh order and we refused, We will NEVER order from that store EVER again, disgusteding for a food outlet with negligence re food and the health of their customers. This was in July '24 and since Andreas from Pizza baby has been attempting to resolve, only the spend has been refunded but the store owner could not apologize even after reaching out. This was about a month back
Prior to installation, I have been advised of the requirements for an installation done at ones own premises. Upon installation, the installer asked for the car key. The installer idled my car for the entire about 30min and said that the vehicle needs to idle for installation...... that was NOT one of the requirements!!!!! Petrol is expensive to be idling for that long!!!!
FNB secure chat function/team is as useless as a remote without batteries!!! If you not speaking to multiple consultants and reiterating yourself, response is so slow that your app logs out and you forget that you were on secure chat. On the 06th Jan. 2023, I queried a debit order on my account, a debit that I have already made an EFT payment for the previous day. I queried this as I thought is was strange that I was double debited. It was the first time using this provider and at the time did not know that they debit after I've collected or once they've delivered an order. So I made an EFT payment after collecting my order, the next day as I now know, I was debited for the order I have already paid for. I logged onto secure chat to query this that there is a double charge, one a manual EFT that I made and a charge/debit from the business for the same order. I needed to know so I may reverse either or I may take this up with the the business I ordered from and just need to make sure of this. The secure chat consultants made me feel dumb!!! And insisted that there is only one payment/charge of that amount, I've explained and sent screen grabs of both deductions from my account showing how both reduced my available balances, I even sent the two incontact text messages from FNB reflecting this as well, and still, they directed me to check my account etc. Further more the consultant tells me that my balance is not what I said, I previously explained that on that morning I made a purchase and also received two EFTs which had nothing to do with the query as these were after the fact of my original query(Can they not pick these things up on their end???) I then gave up and queried it anyway with the business directly and they got back to me this morning that yes, I have basically paid double for the same order, one via EFT and one via debit, so I was right and FNB Secure chat did not see or figure it out dispite me s**** feeding them the information. FNB secure chat is a circus and a service that adds very little to NO value at all. I now have so little faith in FNB and really need to reevaluate my banking relationship.
I have escalated an error that occured on my account in October 2022. This was an error from FNB's side. Numerous follow ups and till to date no resolve. FNB Loans department messed up a debit order and have not heard from the Loans department. This issue resulted in losing out on months of eBucks and other rewards, I have not received these as well. eBucks department is almost as useless as the Secure chat department!!! I see absolutely no value in service fees being paid!!!
WARNING!!! Superbalist drivers tried to get my wife to open the gate for him, claiming the exchange item was big and heavy. The exchange item was a ladies top, came in a box half the size of a shoe box!!! BE VERY AWARE & CAREFUL!!!
I have not received my eBucks rewards due to FNB reversing a debit order that caused my account to reflect badly. I have logged a query with eBucks, they have been waiting for feedback from FNB which is taking longer than it should. When i received a text that my account was in arears, I logged a query as this was very strange as this debit order has always come off on my salary date and was never in bad standing!!!
ADT has increased my premiums multiple times, I logged a call with regards to this and all they say was it is an annual increase when that increase has already been implemented. Anyone else experiencing this please comment and if you've made a switch, please let me know who, I am willing to make the change in security services.
Takealot has a way of giving ****ty excuses for their false advertising! They have advertised an item for a very, very good price, I screen grabbed the item with the selling price. I then purchased a few and paid for the item. The next day i get an email telling me that the items have been cancelled as supplier is out of stock. I think they made a mistake by the selling price but that is not my problem, it was advertised, in stock and at said price, I purchased and my purchase was concluded.
On my recent trips with Uber, the experience has left me speechless. A few years ago their vehicles were in good, clean condition and the experiences have been great, until recent times the vehicles are just smaller versions of your typical Noord street Toyota Hiace taxi, exterior damage, some damages one can see that its been damaged for some time already, missing wheel caps, some driving around with not one but two spare wheels. Interior!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!! My last trip had me wanting to burn my clothes and soak in Black dip before taking a shower........ a lot of the drivers if their mask are on, its a chin strap, my last trip, driver didn't even bother to wear a mask! Indicators didn't work, made an illegal U-turn, which is now common after drop offs that I've seen while driving. I will say that you do find the exception of a tidy Uber X vehicle, but for the most part the condition of the Uber GO and Uber X vehicles are so, so bad :( My question is. Does Uber even conduct regular checks on their driver's vehicles for overall condition and maintenance??? This service is not free to the consumer so why are we paying for a service that has increased in trip price (Understandably so) but has decreased drastically in quality? We are a few Uber trips from another unruly taxi association...
