Reading the reviews it looks like customers either love or hate the company. 5 star or 1 star. Well, I add my 5 stars to my experience. iI wear orthopedic shoes which had an eye hole missing (crudely removed by an unskilled "shoemaker" a month ago. Being not a run-of-the-mill problem I did explain in an email before and made an appointment. Well, Rocksole owner and staff helped immediately on arrival and did not only do the job at hand but saw the stitching had broken too at the same shoe. They repaired both stitching and eye hole as well as polished my shoes, helped me to put them on (I am walking disabled) and were all concerned to offer help to get back to my car. The whole affair had cost me R75 and they wouldn't even accept a tip for good work and service. I get the feeling it is the missing respect for the profession and the person that causes most of the negative reviews. So, the least I could do is write an honest review.
Excellent service, Efficient well organized and easy to claim. It is a pleasure to work with Paypal

whereas I am generally positively impressed with the service I received from Outsurance regarding my 3 cars and Outsurance's competitive pricing. My last experience was the opposite.
Based on the first impression I wanted to move all my insurances to Outsurance (wine farm, restaurant, distillery, guesthouse, cottages etc.). My business is continuously insured since 1995. Outsurance took 2 times each several hour long question sessions by telephone and 2 visits to the farm reading the same questions and reading lengthy "smallprint". Each time getting the facts wrong. As I do not want to be under insured the agent Craig suggested at one of his visits to send a Mr.Aggenbach to assess the actual values instead of me thumb sucking. He instead asked the exact same questions once again and wanted the same plans (I already had send to the second agent Mr.Hazle). he asked me the values! So after I was already quoted close to R 10 000/month and had shown the premises twice and had spend several hours on the phone going through the quote waiting for the fine tuning of final prices the agent Aggenbach phoned today that they wont take the risk instead of finalizing the exact amounts as agent Hazle had suggested. I have no problem with this answer but after many hours on several days and hours of meetings this could have simply been done the first time. The agent Hazle got most facts wrong again and again. This experience was the most unprofessional I have ever experienced with any insurance. I can recommend the car insurance with Outsurance but stay away from business insurance. The quote given was insincere.

My wireless internet connection was promised at 6 to 10 Mb/sec speed. It is fluctuating around 0-14.5. Trying to bank becomes a excersize of patience if it at all works before time nout. The company does react but all solutions are shortlived. At R 1099/month I do expect more than that.

I am a regular customer at Paarl Incredible connection, or shall I say was. I am well known in the Paarl store. It is the second time I feel management is treating my reasonable requests poorly.

I had asked my wife to bring in one of our laptops I bought very long ago, probably 5-8 years ago. I can't even remember from which shop. I do not keep the old invoices beyond warranty or they are archived by year with the book keeper, with other words not easily accessible. I brought in the laptop for repair:

The charging port at the laptop (those finicky plugs at the side of the laptop) was broken and needed repair.

Incredible connection took on the repair and phoned a week later that they would need the original purchase slip. I was flabbergasted who would keep invoice slips beyond warranty and tax period ? Easy to establish that this laptop is at least 5-8 years old. and I did not expect or ask for a warranty repair.

Is that a new sales trick? don't repair to force the customer to buy a new machine?

Being under time pressure my wife has to drive there again today 1.3.2017 to fetch it and take it unrepaired with to China and spend precious holiday time to have it repaired in China.

Customer service spells differently in Paarl Incredible Connection
