I took a small parcel into Postnet Midrand to be sent to Postnet Lichenburg on the 25th of November 2025. As the parcel still had not arrived today, & the Lichenburg Postnet said it was still in Johannesburg, I tried to follow up/track the parcel. This has turned into a nightmare. I phoned the Postnet call centre on 08607678638 before 08:00 only to be told their office hours are 08:00 till 17:00. I then phone again at 08:09, the phone rings & rings & then goes to an automated reply which says "the requested number is available, please try again later". I tried phoning 4 or 5 times during the day, with the same annoying response. I have sent an email to the response page on the web site, requesting a delivery update, NO reply. I then send 2 emails to callcentre@postnet.co.za, again NO reply. This is just such ******* service we will not use them again....
What absolute ******* service. The guy at the counter was fine but the cashier & the lady in the stores have zero manners & are really unhelpful. The last time I deal with the Plumblink.
I reported a leak inside the wall to Nedbank house hold insurance on the 8th of May 2025. I am NOT a plumber, but worked out that there was water coming out of the wall & into an electrical DB board causing the power to trip. Nedbank sent someone out to have a look & they confirmed that there was a leaking pipe which was inside the wall. They also confirmed that the geyser was faulty. I have been struggling since then to get them to send someone out, so we can at least have some hot water IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER. The leaking pipe has how been fixed, apparently, but this cannot be tested as we are waiting for the geyser to be replaced. There is a hole in the wall between the kitchen & garage. Nedbank make it very difficult to communicate & I need to send any mail 3 or 4 times before I get any response. I wish there was some controlling body that one could speak to for this very obvious attempt to get out of coving this claim.
Just trying to get hold of anyone at Nedbank is nearly impossible. When i phone 0800555111, & get an answer, the person cannot answer my query, so has to transfer me. Every time this happens you get cut off. I have even said to the consultant, PLEASE don't cut me off, but every time the phone rings a couple of times & then nothing. Extremely difficult to get any service from any division in Nedbank!!
Tried to get some help from the plumbing department at Builders Warehouse Midrand, but the staff I asked were uninterested & unhelpful. Will try & avoid buying anything from Builders again.
Tried to get some help from the guy in the plumbing department at Leroy Merlin Fourways, but this guy just made out it was such a hassle helping me. He had no interest & just wanted to get me out of the shop. This is not the 1st time the staff have been totally unhelpful in this branch. I will not go back.
I sent this mail to Nedbank Insurance on the 13th of July 2023: "Good day, We had our garage door “fixed” by Nedbank a while ago. I was never really happy with the contractor that you sent around, but presumed you vetted anyone doing work for Nedbank. I have my garage door serviced once a year & yesterday the person I use came around. To my dismay he informed me of the things that were wrong & asked us not to close the garage door as there is a chance it could collapse on the cars, or even worst, on top of a person, or animal. This is obviously very disturbing & our garage door is now standing wide open, with direct access into the house. I have attached the report & invoice from the Garage Door Man. Please can you advise if you can urgently send someone out, or can I get the Garage door Man to do the proper repairs?" They have admitted that their approved contractor signed their own job off & said they will pay for the new repair, less the excess, but it is almost impossible to get the truth from anyone at Nedbank Insurance. They have made various promises, we will phone you back, we will send an email, we will send an SMS, etc., none of which has actually happened. Please beware everyone, they will make any excuse not to help. This has now been going on since the 13th of July 2023, over 12 weeks, & I still don't have any resolution.
Dreadful experience from the rude person at the front door who just grunted when I told him I need to report a burglary at my business premises. I then get inside & explain the situation. They ask me what has been stolen & I tell them I don’t know as yet as I have left everything thrown all over the place. They then ask me to sit & wait for 5 minutes. I wait 45 minutes & ask them what is going on, again they ask me to wait. After 2 hours the man behind the desk says he was busy, so didn’t speak to who he wanted to speak to, so I must go to the office & wait for the police to come. Absolutely disgusting & unhelpful.
What a great experience! We arrived as a party of 5 without a booking only to find they were having a private function. This didn't stop management organizing us a table outside. The food & service was excellent!!! I would recommend Rodizio's Melrose Arch to anyone. Keep up the good work
Dreadful experience last night. Ordered food from Nando's Kyalami. It took more than an hour to arrive & then there was a roasted vegetable side which was short delivered. Won't use Ubereats or Nando's again!
