I have had a cellphone contract with MTN for many years. I can't understand how difficult it is to update my address. It is correct on the computer system but every monthly invoice/statement I am sent still has my old address on. I have lodged at least 3 queries that I don't believe go anywhere or to anyone who cares. What does one do? Do I need to cancel my contract? It is up for renewal in about 2 months........
I am very annoyed with Afrihost and the ridiculous requirement for RICA where one has to take a selfie of oneself with ones ID. No other business requires this at all. I have been a client of theirs for almost 7 years and am about to cancel all dealings with them. All that I have applied for is month to month data. I have an existing simcard that has been RICAed already.
I cancelled my contract with VOX on the 2nd of July 2021 as I was required to move from the flat that I was in due to the sale of the property. I had to wait for the 2nd July due to the lease agreement for the new flat, to secure it before I could do anything. I have paid cancellation fee as required. I am now being hounded for payment for August and was not in the flat or on the property in question I. E I did not make use of the service. It is absurd that Vox is arguing about 1 day. If you work out the notice that I gave it is still 30 days - one month. Subsequently I have cancelled the new contract before it was installed due to the this and have gone with another service provider.
Once again no possible end in sight with Telkom the (banana communications. I received a response 3 weeks ago from a Luleka in social media at the banana communications we refer to as Telkom. That of course was the last word. Why waste time with sending a message to me in the first place. Once again I reiterate that we should BOYCOTT TELKOM. PLEASE DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH TELKOM (BANANA COMMUNICATIONS)
Telkom is ****. After 2 weeks of writing to the local newspaper and still getting no response from Telkom I once again am writing to dissuade everyone from doing business with telkom. Please don't. They lure you in with good deals and then hand you over to the useless call center. Please stop all dealings with Telkom.
I AM ONLY SELECTING A STAR SO AS TO WRITE THIS. TELKOM IS **** AND I MEAN ****! I moved into East London to Gonubie after consulting the coverage map to ensure that I could get the 10 MPBS ADSL line I needed to teach English on line. I ordered a n ADSL line ONLY! When the installation process started, I received a photo call saying that the technician was still at the exchange and could only give me 4 MBPS, did I want to carry on. I said NO! She said she would cancel the whole thing i. e. NOTHING WAS INSTALLED. I then at huge expense moved to Beacon Bay after trying my best to confirm that I could get the correct speed ADSL. I went to Telkom and changed everything including my address and again ONLY ordered the line. They installed ONLY the line, no telephone. I suddenly received an invoice via email on the 11 August with the Gonubie address on where I was billed for the line, a 24 month uncapped data package over R2000. I immediately went to Telkom and lodged a dispute regarding this as I was scared that the service would be terminated if I did not pay. Some staff told me to pay and that I would be credited once the dispute was settled. I returned to the Telkom office on Monday 20 August (a week before end of the month) to be told that the dipute had been rejected. I immediately lodged another dispute and went back on the 1 September and was told that that dispute was rejected. I then asked the person at the call center to get the supervisor to call me back. Still waiting. On Monday 3 September I went back to the Telkom shop and dealt with the supervisor. She lodged yet another dispute and chatted to someone at the call center for a long time. I returned today 20 September. No one has gotten back to me in between this time. I was told that the Gonubie side of the dispute has been resolved but am not sure as I have just received an email stating that the bill in full over R2000 is payable on or by the 1st of October. I refuse to pay for it. I also found out to my surprise that I was signed up for a telephone service at my address in Beacon Bay, even though I ONLY ordered a line. I was told to pay it. I refuse to. I will only pay for the line rental for 2 months. I also informed the supervisor that I am going overseas in about a months time so either it must be sorted out quickly or it won't be...... They don't care, I don't care. What does one have to do to sort out a mess like this? I am going to post a video of this shocking service on YouTube and other social media sites where I will canvass for as many people as possible to cancel their services or take their business elsewhere. I have had enough of this **** and have spent enough money trying to resolve this. I have consumer rights and I intend to use them. Peter-John Case I will never recommend Telkom to anyone ever.

I am wanting to find out what is going on with Holtsauto in South Africa. I live in East London and have been trying for over 2 months to get more of the Auto Spray Paint (HWH105) and (L101C). The local shops (Midas) that stock the range keep telling me that the salesperson for the area has not been for over two months. I am in the middle of touching up my car and need to finish the job. It boggles my mind that any company can be this slack in these difficult times. I have tried the website but that only has a phone number for Johannesburg. I overheard someone at Midas saying that they may not be stocking the range. What do I do now as I don't want to use another brand as the colour may be different.

I wish to expose MTN for the horrific treatment that I have received from them. The matter has gone unresolved for almost 7 months. Please read the letter or watch the video that I posted on YouTube and Facebook describing the nightmare. It is called - MTN SHOCKING SERVICE
