“I asked my son to take my car in for its first oil change. The vehicle is 1 year old T-Roc with 6200 km and requires an oil change at 15000 km or 1 year, whichever comes first. The staff at VW Waterfront said the oil change was not necessary and reset the display to say the oil change had been done. This would result in the car only getting its first service 2 years or 21200 km. I then took the car back to VW Waterfront and confronted them about why they reset the service intervals without changing the oil. This turned out to be a 2-hour argument. Only once I said I would pay for the oil change, and not have it as part of the first three-year plan included, did they agree to change the oil, my actions resulted in the service interval being correct for the life of the car. If I was not forceful, I would have been dismissed. I am concerned that VW Barons Waterfront may cut costs by saving on the services and parts. Are the filters being changed? Are the spark plugs being renewed? Oil, how old do they allow it to get, we as the customer have no way of knowing, either way, this is something you would not expect from a reputable dealership like VW Barons Waterfront, be warned.

I traded in a car and bought a new one, with two contracts, cancel the old one and start a new one, the new contract was around R20 000 short of my instalments/contributions, or total input. This is when the problems started, spoke to the accounts person who said they are confused but would get back to me, no reply, its has now got to the point where 6 or 7 Barons N1 City staff are involved, and all ignore my emails or stay they are unable to understand the contract, I took the effort to break down the contracts in a very easy to see approach, and the only reply I got from accounts at VW is that they are baffled, I could be paying R20 000 more for this car due to a contract issue, and there is no one at Barons N1 City who can assist, my numerous emails just go unanswered or I get referred to someone else, its a simple contract, why will no one speak to me
Hello Andrew I have no other option than to try and reach out to you like this After so many emails and getting no proper answers to my questions let me try again. I was not happy with the Laptop you sent me, I returned it the next day and ever since it has been a cat and mouse game trying to get a refund. As discussed charge me your 15% or whatever the postage and fees cost and please can I get the rest refunded as per your Terms and Conditions. Did it have to go this way? Can it just end now please.
I ordered Fibre with Afrihost, 2 days later a Modem arrives, great, but what do i do with it, i tried to call them, you are wasting your time, i emailed, no reply, I simply think the demand is out stretching there ability to offer any type of service, just stay away, not worth it
