I joined RSAWEB just over a month ago on the advertised R645/month package for 50/25Mbps fibre. Now, I’ve received notice that my price will increase to R689 from 1 June 2025 — barely two months after signing up. While I understand that Openserve (your network provider) increased its pricing, this still feels completely unfair from a customer perspective. I signed up under one rate, and within weeks it changed — with no real option but to downgrade or pay more. I was invited to “explore better deals” via live chat, only to be told that no such deals exist unless you’ve been a customer for 12 months. I asked for an escalation or senior contact and was told RSAWEB doesn’t provide that information. I’m very disappointed with the lack of flexibility and poor handling of this. I’m simply asking RSAWEB to either honour the original rate I signed up for (even just temporarily) or offer some kind of goodwill gesture — a credit, upgrade, or added value. So far, I’ve been met with nothing but policy blocks. I hope this gets seen by someone who values their newer customers and is willing to do better.
What a joke. No compensation, no trust, no care in the people of South Africa. Another post 1994 corrupt state. I’m giving you a 2 star. One extra, because there is electricity (sometimes)
Best shipping service to use! Very professional. As a client you have full control over everything. They are quick to answer questions and helpful online videos. They really took the stress away from moving. Well worth every penny. We used them relocating our household contents to Scotland.
One of the better mobile cellular providers in South Africa. I’ve had no issues in the past. Only lost my number when I never used it for 6 Months. Just wish I could get that back. But otherwise a good company.

They have failed deliveries to houses since 1994. That was the last time I saw a postman / postwoman deliver every day letters to ones house. Since then I’ve had letters opened, undeliverable, missing and failed deliveries.
Great insurance company. Never had any troubles with them. They covered my Car, my house, Small items like my bicycle and cameras. I also had a life policy with them. They were quick to pay and always sorted me out. This goes for my wife too, who also had two policies with them. We have since left South Africa. But would always highly recommend.
Great bank, awesome app that works seamlessly. Good consultants and money advice. One of the best South African banks out. Been a client with them for 20 years. Will continue, even though I’m not living in South Africa anymore. They still help me all the time from abroad.
