On the 12th December we booked a car with Budget for the dates 15th December till the 25th December. We paid an amount of R3,675.00 for the reservation. I collected the car on the 15th December from the Branch in Strand Street. I was asked to pay another R3800.00 as a deposit. We feel that we should be refunded for the days they we returned the car which is an amount of R1,842.00 I was then told to go to the car and video and check that everything was in order. I was not shown where the window buttons were to open the window. I was not shown how to open the petrol flap. I was not told that the engine shuts off automatically if the car is stationary. The car was given to me with the side mirror facing inwards and as I could not open the windows I could not adjust the mirror. I brought the car back to Budget on the 19th December and was told by somebody at the firm when I phoned that I would get a refund. After speaking to the manager I have now been told that they do not refund if the car is brought back earlier according to their terms and conditions. The manger said that it is out of his hands and he cannot do anything about it. I sat on the phone for over a 1/2 an hour trying to get hold of somebody at the Strand Street office, but nobody answers. Their voice message tries to advertise their services says that People come before cars. However, the services leave much to be desired!
On October the 6th I went to McDonalds in Cavendish Sq. and bought a meal for my son and myself . It came to R93.30 I inserted my card to pay and it said declined I entered it again and it declined. I did it a 3rd time and it accepted. I then checked my bank staement on my phone and saw that the payment went through twice. I have ben in touch with the manager Nandia who sent the error through to Beuleen Kleinsmith at McDonalds head office who told me that it is still pending and I must sort it out with the bank. I called the bank and they said that they need a letter from McDonalds to say thathey can cancell the Pending. I sent a letter to Beuleen Kleinsmith who has not gotten back to me. I have tried to phone McDonalds in Cavendish and they do not answer their phone.
A few days ago I made mention that I needed a airflow meter for my car. I went online and made the stupid choice of getting it through "Online Carparts" who are in Johannesburg. They said they had the part so I ordered it and paid them R1,595.00. I asked for a tracking slip and was told its on its way. 2 days later I was told that the delivery was cancelled as it was the wrong part. I was told that I would be refunded. Numerous calls to them and was then told there would be a 7 day delay. After 7 days I was promised the refund only to be told that it should reflect this past Monday. Again asking for proof of payment I was told that it will be done. Again phoning the accounts department I was told there would be an immidiate payment. People please be aware when purchasing on line. I am going to try Wendy Knowler and maybe Devi and the NCC. Will even report the matter to SARS. I dont want to let Sandra and Clive Naidoo get away with this ****. On Google reviews of this company 100's of people have been ****med. I should have checked the reviews first.
I placed an order for an AIrflow meter last week after been told by the agent that they had stock. Waited two days for a tracking number only to be told that the part is incorrect and would be promised a refund. Gave all my details to Nkosi was promised a refund and am still waiting. I think their service is shocking and would not recommend them at all.
I was given as a gift a Gizzu DC UPS for my router during loadshedding. It worked well for a while and now when the power goes off it doesnt work anymore. A technician from Gizzu informs me that it might be a faulty battery pack or mainboard. They offer a guarantee but say that its uneconomical to repair as they are unable to ship batteries into the country. Then they must replace the one I have otherwise stop fooling the public.
We went to the Mcdonalds in Milnerton on Koeberg Road. I have 8700 point on my app. I wanted to order 2 hamburgers and chips to make up the 8700 points. The cashier had absolutely no idea how to enforce this and wasted 8000 of my points by pressing redeem 4 times which gave me 4 x 2000 points for Fries. Which I didnt want. The trainee cashier also had no idea how to proceed and I ened up paying for my meal which I wasnt particurly happy with. The service at this McDonalds has a lot to be desired and we always find a problem when we go there. The machine that one can use to self order is at such an angle that when the sun shines onto them, one cannot see the screen. I have also just logged into their rateurservice online and it told me thatmy password was incorrect. Mcdonalds need to get their act together and train their staff properly.
I visited Eye Save Optometrist in St. Georges Mall quite some time back. I decided to try them again about 1 year ago. They did an eye test an I purchased a pair of glasses. Over the past year I have noticed when I am at a meeting and I sit in the front row I am unable to read the screen. When I watch TV and I am 3ft away I cannot read the screen. I find that Eyesave did not give me the correct glasses and I am very unhappy with the pair they gave me as I am not able to see clearly and i feel that they gave me the incorrect script. I know its a year but I wanted to make sure that I was happy with their service.
Shoprite are advertising a special combo for R99 when I went to Shoprite in Milnerton they refused to give it to me for R99 as they said they need to see it on a leaflet form now on Facebook they send a leaflet but its got completely different items.
Today I received an sms that the movie Super Mario Brothers was showng at Ster Kinekor and as it was Tuesday and I have a Pensioners Loyalty card I thought I would take my son. The sms also said there would be a 50% discount. When I got to the Cinema at The V & A Waterfront and tried to book, the asiistant who helped me told me that my loyalty card is not accepted as the movie is DBox. Who cares? I wanted to watch the 2pm movie and not pay R290 for myself and my child. I think that Ster Kinekor are ripping people off. No wonder they prefer to stream and download movies. It could cost nearly R500 just to watch a movie with Popcorn and coke for two people. Defintely wont be returning there.
I would like to voice my extreme dissatisfaction with a truly horrible company called Supersonic. Their service is one of the worst I have ever had to deal with. I took out a contract around 2020. Because of their horrible, awful service I cancelled my contract in 2021 and instructed them to collect the router from me. In their terms and conditions they state that the customer has to pay Ram Internatiol couriers if the Router is returned to Supersonic. I find this a very poor way of encouraging clients to use their service. I think that for them to fail to contact me for two years in able to return the router is absolutely disgustiong and I would like to warn other potentiol users to be aware of this scam of a company.
