I cannot get over how *********** FNB are. I have emailed and called to no avail. FNB have decided that I am not allowed to see or have access to my investment account. It is the worst in terms of user friendly. I am beyond frustrated!!!! fnbibquery@fnb.co.za
Since being owned by Canal, we no longer get to see the winter Olympics. I'm on the premium package and now cannot watch. It's a disgrace. Now I must pay for a streaming service. Clearly they have just lost another customer!!
While I accept that costs escalate, what I cannot accept is that services just disappear. It is really unacceptable!! The apps are my biggest concern. 1. Suddenly the weather disappears. This was a very handy service. 2. On the sports app that I use all the time, the top news has disappeared. Why? Also, there is no longer a support desk for these queries. Really poor service!!!!
If possible, I would give Defy a negative rating. My fridge/freezer gasket failed i.e. the freezer door was not sealing. I placed a service call with Defy and it took a week for a technician to bring and install the part. Apparently they don't keep spare parts in Johannesburg. Note the fridge/freezer was only only bought 4 years ago. The day after the gasket was installed, it failed. In desperation I bought a new fridge/freezer (not a Defy). This is an expensive item and I don't expect it to only last 4 years.
Wish I could give a negative score. 4 years ago I bought a Defy fridge/freezer. 1 month after the 3 year warranty, the freezer gasket failed. It took Defy more than 2 weeks to replace the gasket (April 15th 2024). The part has a 1 year warranty. last month - less than a year - the gasket fails again. 7 days later the gasket is replaced. The next day the new gasket fails. What this means is that the freezer door doesn't seal and the food goes off. So they don't keep spares and the product is useless. This was last week. I now have a new fridge/freezer. I would advise Defy to stop selling products that are junk and cannot be repaired.
I wish there was an option to score -10. I bought a Defy fridge freezer 4 years ago. I week after the warranty expired the freezer gasket became faulty. This means that the freezer doesn't seal and everything in the freezer has to be discarded. I had to log 2 service calls and wait 18 days to get it repaired. Less than a year later, the new gasket has also become faulty, I need to pay R1,800 for a new one and defy doesn't have stock.
FNB's charges are higher than the other banks and the service levels are lower. It is so frustrating. The only reason I have an account at FNB is because my brother's account is there and as he has dementia, I am unable to move his accounts to another bank.
Glov Beauty takes your money but never delivers the product!!! They also ignore emails!!
What a pity that it is not possible to give a minus 5 score. A score of 1 is too high. My brother who is 74 years old and has no income has been handed over to a debt collector. I pay his medical aid. Here is an example of 1 of the charges made. On 1 of the detailed claim lines, he was charged R1,102.00. Discovery paid R81.20 and the reason given is that is the agreed rate between Discovery and Life Healthcare. This is only 1 example, the total amount of the overcharges amounts to R16,000 +. Even Discovery says that we don't need to pay this.
Pity there is no option for negative stars! When the sectional unit was sold and transfer took place, it took Eagle Blue 4.5 months to refund the levies that were advanced as required. Not only did it take that long, and multiple calls and emails, the refund received was a lot less than was expected. Multiple emails have been sent requesting a breakdown of how they arrived at the lower amount and they just don't respond. Please be aware before you purchase a sectional title unit that is managed by Eagle Blue.
