Unbelievable!!!! Ordered an item and received a completely different one illustrated on the website! Missing parts to fully assemble the product and immediately logged a return, only to find out I have to return it at my own expense.****!!!!
After a long drawn out dispute with Vodacom about a *****ulent account opened in my name, they finally conceded that the account was indeed *****. They confirmed in writing that the account will be closed and updated information will be sent to the credit bureaus. After going through Vodacom's ********** customer service, I am now faced with another battle, as this *****ulent account is still active on my credit profile, months after thinking that this matter has been laid to rest! I ask you to please do the right thing and sort this out as I do not have energy to go through the hell you put me through again!
I am deeply disappointed at the levels of service I am receiving from this company. After numerous attempts to lodge a geyser claim, I received no response and false claims about them being unable to reach me and had to get my broker to intervene. I am now sitting with a faulty geyser for about five days and despite having a claim number, I am still facing a wall of silence regarding my claim. PATHETIC!
A fraudulent account was opened using my ID, I disputed it and submitted the requested documents. Vodacom sat on the case since November,2021 and refused to accept their complicity. I repeatedly pleaded for feedback and hit a brick wall everytime. To top it all off, they referred a disputed account to their lawyers, who hounded and harassed me at every turn. Six months later, they now concede that indeed it was a fraudulent account and I have been a victim of identity theft!!!! I still stand by my earlier statements that Vodacom is nothing but a criminal network, after all the stress they put me through!!!!
Vodacom's criminal conduct continues! I have lost count over how many times I have complained about the same issue to Vodacom. They have clearly showed that they are not interested or willing to resolve this issue of a fraudulent account. I have emailed the requested documents to two different addresses and only got nothing but SILENCE! I have contacted their legal department, who promised to send an sms link and never did! In desperation, I contacted their social media team and it came to nothing, as they want me to authenticate myself against a FRAUDULENT account, ***???!! I was referred to the nearest Vodacom shop, who told me there's nothing they can do and suggested that I go to Vodaworld for help, 50 Kms away from my house!!!! I am beyond livid!!!!!
This is my fourth complaint about Vodacom's criminal behavior!!!! I have been shunted from pillar to post regarding a fraudulent account, which is wreaking havoc with my finances. I have sent documents proving this is a fraudulent account for the past three months and no one is willing to help. This is really disgusting and pathetic behaviour from Vodascum!!!!!
I am very disappointed with TransUnion. I signed up for their TrueIdenty service, which is supposed to protect you against ID fraud and related services. I have now fallen victim twice, to ID fraud, where fraudulent cellphone contracts have been opened with MTN and Vodacom using my name. TransUnion has failed to detect these fraudulent acts, yet they claim their service is superior. You might as well refund me my money, because the service is actually useless!!
For the past three months I have had to deal with criminal behaviour from Vodacom! I have rogue debit orders without Debicheck mandates go off my account and Vodacom have acknowledged that is fraud. They have ignored my request for feedback ever since they mentioned that they will investigate and I have submitted all the requested documents. In the meantime I have to deal with these rogue debit orders which are wreaking havoc with my finances!!!
MTN debitted my bank account for something I have no knowledge of, with reference Ba11666936. I have reversed this unauthorised debit order and demand an immediate explanation from MTN. I am not even a customer of MTN!!!!!
On 19.08.2021, I receive a call from a Vodacom agent to rate their service. I am taken by surprise when she mentions that I applied for a cellphone contract, which I DID NOT DO! I thought that was the end of it, the next thing I know, a debit order goes off my account,from Vodacom!!! Please sort this out , because I never applied for a contract with you and this looks like fraud.
